Fantastic spot for relaxing, long weekend

Had a lovely stay over a long weekend. The house is wonderful, and the location was convenient to downtown and so much more. House was clean and well-appointed and served as a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Lori was communicative and helpful - from the initial booking all the way through to our departure. Would 100% recommend and will plan to stay here again for a future return visit.

Lovely Townhome

Perfect Place in Truckee

This is one of the best rentals I've stayed at. The place is clean, the beds are comfortable and you are an easy walk into town. Karin was great to work with.

Tahoe vacation

This is a beautiful property. It was immaculately clean, warm, and comfortable. The location is quiet and close to downtown Truckee and local ski resorts.

So great!

We spenta couple of days, one being Thanksgiving. The place was lovy, close to town and a short drive from snow parkss and resorts. Clean, enough room for six of us over night plus two friends that came for the day.

Truckee Stay 2024

This was our fourth stay at this property. Karin is a terrific host. The townhouse is comfortable and located in a nice and convenient neighborhood. We look forward to future stays.

Perfect location and home for our families visit

The host was very easy to get a hold of, and very responsive and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and it was very comfortable and spacious to accommodate our large family even our lovely dog. I definitely would recommend and I most definitely will be staying here again, next time we visit Truckee. I honestly have nothing bad to say about our stay the home or the host. Thank you very much to the host for allowing us to stay in your home for a very memorable weekend for our family.

Great stay!

Spent 8 nights at this beautiful, spacious, well equipped townhouse! Primary bedroom with fireplace is very cozy. Living area is big enough for our family of 5 adults to comfortably relax. Convenient location to walk into downtown. Will definitely stay again when in Truckee.

Great home in perfect location

This home is absolutely perfect in so many ways. There were 6 of us so we fit perfectly. The home is beautiful, comfortable and located in a convenient part of town. We were able to walk to restaurants or take a short drive to down town. It was snowing while we were there and snow removal was great. The owner Karin had impeccable communication from start to finish. This home is not furnished as a rental so we were comfortable watching TV and sleeping. We will definitely rent this place again.

Truckee Retreat!

We’ve stayed at this great townhouse three times and we’re going back again next year. Everything is shipshape and the location is ideal. You’re close to Lake Tahoe and just far enough away to lose the overcrowded tourist scene. And there’s the Blue Coyote Bar & Grill 150 yards from your door. Try the pizza!

Above and beyond

I travel often for work and normally use vrbo and other rental sites instead of hotels. It’s rare to encounter a host and property that completely exceed my expectations. Karin was accommodating and communicative. The property was clean and well appointed — it felt more like a second home than a rental property as everything from the furniture to the dishes to the build materials were tasteful and high quality. The condo is centrally located, but just off the beaten path enough to be away from the noise. The nearby park was in walking distance and perfect for the pups. If you’re considering this place among others, drop the rest and book this now.

Good home for Lake Tahoe visit

The house and the kitchen is well equipped and good location. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, while we visited around Lake Tahoe and Donner lake. Close to Truckee downtown for Truckee Thursdays, and walking to a nearby park with playground.

Great Stay

This townhouse really has everything you could need for a nice family vacation. The layout was perfect for our family of 5 - the master bed/bath, living room, kitchen, and half bath are all upstairs, and the other 2 rooms, bathroom/laundry room are all downstairs. We had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked, the master bedroom and bath are really nice - we loved the giant soaking tub, and the laundry room was a plus. There were 2 switch operated gas fireplaces - one by the master tub and the other in the living room, and 2 outdoor patios with chairs. Everything was very clean, all soaps, shampoos and conditioners were supplied, nice seating arrangements, great TV and stereo bar. I thought it was a little closer to downtown Truckee - it was about 1.5-2 miles - but that was totally fine. We would walk, had it been just my husband and I, but we were with 3 lazy teenagers, lol… Theres a golf course and the 50/50 Brewery within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Truckee.

We chose this property when deciding to buy a second home because we love to ski and we enjoy all the summer sporting activities the area has to offer. Also, we love the fact that we can walk to town and we don't always have to drive once we land in our lovely townhome. It is also only 7 minutes to our favorite ski resorts Northstar and Squaw Valley.

Tons of hiking and biking trails right out the front door! We also love to bike on the legacy trail as it is beautiful and we don't have to worry about dodging cars as it is completely dedicated to bicyclists and walkers.
