Great week in Daniela's villa

Very beautiful and functional Villa. Near to the first beach by walking. Outside kitchen, barbecue, car park, ... Daniela and his husband are very sympathic and good advisors.

Close to the beach, clean and comfortable. What a great house. We had the most comfortable beds and the air conditioning was a treat. The house was extremely clean. I didn't see any bugs while I was there. Not even an ant. Daniella was a responsive host. I enjoyed going to the nearby beach as well as the cafes and restaurants close by. We loved driving to Ortegia to soak in culture and city. I recommend highly.

Die Villa ist außen gepflegt sauber und großzügig mit private Einfahrt. Es gib überdachte Terrassen mit Tischen und Stühlen, ein Grill und eine außen Küche. Innen ist es sauber und ordentlich, das Sofa ist gemütlich nur die Betten sind schon Hart und erholsames schlafen war es nicht. Es gibt 2 große Kleiderschränke und Tisch komoden. Nicht so toll fanden wir das nur Teller Gläser Tassen abgezählt auf 4 Personen war und die Vermieter eine Erklärung wollten warum wir bisschen mehr Geschirr haben wollten. Jedenfalls am nächsten Tag haben wir immerhin 4 Teller dazu bekommen und den fehlenden Wasserkocher neu. Ansonsten muss man von A bis Z alles selber kaufen weil nicht mal eine Flasche zb. Reinigungsmittel Salz Öl Gewürze ect. Wir fanden eine Handseife ein Geschirrspülmittell Zucker und 2 Flaschen Wasser das war’s.. Die Eigentümer waren in Ordnung bei Fragen haben sie uns geholfen, ehrlichen Eindruck machten sie uns aber nicht. was die Innenausstattung der Villa angeht war auf das Minimum eingeschränkt. Wir haben die letzten Jahren mehrere Häuser gemietet und die Gastgeber waren wirklich großzügig und uns fehlte Nix für den täglichen Bedarf. Möchte man seine Gäste wiedersehen sollte man sie auf Hände tragen das war leider hier nicht der Fall.Ein zweites Mal werden wir nicht mehr kommen da uns auch der Ort zu ruhig und nicht belebt ist . Möchte man Geschäfte oder abends spazieren gehen muss man mit dem Auto woanders fahren. Ohne Auto würde ich es abraten her zu kommen.

Sehr schönes Haus

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben sogar etwas für das Frühstück bekommen, da Einkaufen aufgrund der späten Anreise nicht mehr möglich war. Das Haus liegt in einem Wohngebiet an einer tagsüber stark frequentierten Straße; nachts ist es ziemlich ruhig. Es ist mit allem für den täglichen Bedarf gut ausgestattet. Der Garten ist sehr schön, mit verschiedenen Sitzgelegenheiten und Liegestühlen und man kann auf der überdachten Terrasse grillen und kochen. Ein kleiner Sandstrand ist sehr nah und zu einem großen, bewirtschafteten Strand geht man ca. 10 Minuten. Da wir vor Beginn der Saison dort.waren, hatten die umliegenden gastronomischen Angebote und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten allenfalls eingeschränkt geöffnet bzw. meistens noch komplett geschlossen. Ein Auto ist auf jeden Fall notwendig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und bedanken uns bei Daniela und Gaetano für die gute Kommunikation Gastfreundschaft.

Villetta perfetta per famiglie

Un soggiorno di 10 giorni con due bambini in una villetta graziosa ad Arenella . La signora Daniela ed il marito ci hanno accolto con calore e gentilezza . La villetta si trova ad Arenella vicino alla bellissima spiaggia (200mt)con acqua cristallina e sabbia finissima ideale per famiglie con bambini e non solo . Il soggiorno é stato piacevole e confortevole perché la villetta é molto tranquilla e silenziosa . Tutto intorno un bellissimo giardino privato attrezzato con sedie tavoli ,fornelli , forno per barbecue . Un ottimo punto di partenza per fare visite anche a Noto , Siracusa , Marzamemi . Poco distante dalla casa un fruttivendolo e un bar pasticceria gastronomia . Consiglio a tutti questa sistemazione perché confortevole e comoda e permette di rilassarsi in completa privacy .

Sentirsi a casa

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, Daniela è gentilissima, ci ha consigliato ristoranti e spiagge in zona e ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. La casa è molto bella e pulita, con un grande spazio esterno. Ci siamo sentiti a casa nostra, se dovessimo tornare in zona senza dubbio torneremo da Daniela.

Villa bellissima ed accogliente

La villa è perfetta per una vacanza tranquilla. Dotata internamente di tutto per sentirsi a casa, in aggiunta ha esterni ricchissimo: un bellissimo giardino con prato e alberi; tanto spazio pavimentato per lasciar giocare i bambini con assoluta tranquillità; due aree coperte attrezzate con altrettanti tavoli e sedie e sdraio; una cucina esterna (in aggiunta a quella “ufficiale” interna all’abitazione) con fornelli a gas e barbecue in pietra per pranzo e cene all’aperto (in 10 giorni non abbiamo mai cucinato in casa....pur pranzando sempre al ritorno dalla spiaggia); un patio all’ingresso con tavolino e poltrone, luogo ideale per aperitivi serali e tranquille letture notturne. Insomma una sistemazione ideale per una vacanza piena e sodisfacente. Non metto 5 stelle solo per la distanza dalle spiagge - la più vicina è Arenella raggiungibile a piedi in 10 minuti ma sempre affollatissima e senza spazi liberi, almeno ad agosto. Ottima comunque la posizione per chi vuole abbinare al mare (scogli ed acque cristalline a pochi passi dalla villa) escursioni alla vicina Siracusa con le sue attrazioni culturali storiche.

Nice Villa but with some issues!

The villa was easy to find, their were 2 local people there to greet us, one spoke average English, neither were the host. The villa was warmly and had most amenities, but could do with freshening up as it was generally looking a bit tired! There was a broken toilet seat which we requested to have replaced but we had no response from the host. Similarly the primary light in the bathroom went out half way through our holiday and it was too high up for us to replace, again we requested it to be fixed but it was not done - disappointing! One evening early into our holiday we were cooking our own meal using the inside electric oven and the whole electric went off throughout the villa. We had inadvertently tripped the mains switch out in the street by having too many items on at any one time, but since we did not know where this mains switch was, we had to phone the host to come out and switch it back on. We were in total darkness for approx. 30mins. Our point here is the hosts should have provided a guide covering this problem and where the main switch was - then we would not have had to have bothered our host. We were censured by the hosts for leaving the security gates open when we were out in daytime/early evening - fair enough, but had they informed us when being shown around by the hosts representatives then we would have observed their house rules. Again an internal guide book/villa rules etc. would have been useful, this could also contain local amenity info./restaurants etc., and importantly doctor/hospital/police contacts for emergencies! The villa's location whilst close to the local beach which was very nice indeed, was positioned on a local road junction, which meant at times a lot of heavy traffic, lorries etc., so noise nuisance was an issue, also getting out of the villa's driveway with a car turning left into the mouth of the junction was also a problem. It would have been nice if the host had made an appearance to say hello (albeit she could not speak English), but were it not for our loss of power I don't think we would have seen them! Our time in the year of arrival (mid Sept.) meant that there plenty of mosquito's and wasp's about, so we could not take advantage of the outside patio/barbeque area's - which was a pity. We were asked to water the garden every couple of days, but we felt that this was not our responsibility, the host had a gardener, so it should not be left for the guests to do. Overall 3/5 im afraid

Ein tolles Haus, ruhig (außer die etwas lärmende Straße). Der Garten ist genial und eine Außenküche ist auch vorhanden und läd zum kochen im freien ein. Ein tolles Erlebnis.

A hidden gem

A lovely property in an ideal location. A short stroll to a small sandy beach for those early morning dips or slightly further for the full lido experience. This property is fully equipped for a family holiday with secure parking, 2 shady terraces and large bbq within a beautiful garden. The hosts were very helpful, from the introductions and welcome pack when we arrived, to the texts to check that everything was going OK. We would definitely recommend this property.

très belles vacances

La maison de Daniela est très agréable,proche de très belles plages de sable et à 15 mn de Syracuse. Nous recommandons à tous ceux qui veulent se reposer et profiter du calme . La maison est bien équipée et surtout on a apprécié la climatisation par de fortes chaleurs. Petits magasins à proximité et bar restaurant à 2mn sur la plage .

bellissima villetta

Ottima soluzione per chi cerca una villetta vicino al mare! A 5 minuti dalla spiaggia, arredata perfettamente e con gusto, con tutto l'occorrente per una bella vacanza! giardino curato e con spazi coperti per mangiare e fare il barbecue.
