The stay was lovely, the chalet had everything we needed and it was a nice touch leaving Milk and biscuits for us. This is a great place to stay with the beach nearby and the clubhouse and swimming pool were great. we would book again.

Cornwall trip

The property was clean and tidy. Good facilities, kitchen and bathroom. Outside was good . Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable chalet

Property is clean and comfortable. The 2 main issues were no wifi which with a teenager in tow was tricky! But my fault as it didn't mention wifi in the description but i just assumed it would have it as everywhere does nowadays, plus the walk down to the beach was either on a road with no pavement or across fields and took 25-30 minutes. However the chalet was clean, the shower was great and it was good for a couple of nights away and the host provided all the info I needed and was easy to get in touch with.

Lovely break

Enjoyed stay. Sparse on supplies. No cleaning products and only 1 tea towel. Love the location. Shame everything was shut. No instructions for using TV. Had to use manual controls.

Well kitted out for holiday with a dog

Communication was great and Deb got back to us before and during our stay with any questions we had. The property was well suited to holidaying with a dog - hard flooring in the kitchen/lounge and a large cubicle shower for hosing off after walks! It's a great location and we'd book to stay here again.

Love it

Just like to say What a lovely place to spend 3 night stay . It was Very clean and tidy loads of room for me and my other half and our dog . People around on the site always made use fell welcome and friendly. Not far from a lovey dog beach always kept clean and has drinking water for the pups and a cafe . The town centre Is a lovely place to walk around . Love to go back and spent more time there I give it 5 🌟

great location, tired property and site

Fine for a few days, location is amazing. SIte is old fashioned, site was closed, which was not communicated until after booking, tired decor in chalet, patio area was too dirty to really use. Chalet has everything you need, but no personal touches, dirty outdated decor, broken bin lid, missing shelves in fridge. Would not take much to bring up to date and make you feel at home!

Unfortunately very smelly

The property had an extremely bad dog smell that hit you as you entered, it was so bad it ruined our stay. Luckily the weather was good so we didn’t need to be in the chalet much. The bedrooms were more bearable as they had renewed carpets which helped. The beds had protectors on which made you sweat, I considered taking the one off on the double bed but wished I hadn’t of looked, the mattress was full of large stains one was probably blood and I only lifted a corner! I slept on top of the duvet in the end. Very basic chalet, no room as furniture was oversized. To use the pull out dining table the heavy sofa had to be moved about a metre which was impossible as there was a large heavy coffee table in the way. Cooked once but due to the cooker being so close to the wall it was quite hazardous at times with a small child around. The bathroom had recently been updated with a lovely shower, plenty of hot water. Other people we met also stayed in dog friendly chalets and said their accommodation was lovely with no smells, as the chalet stands I could not recommend staying to others unless the carpet is renewed and the smell eradicated, I would not stay again either. I can only give the cleanliness rating a 3 star, it was cleaned but the smell and feel of the carpet underfoot (greasy feel) let it down, this is not a reflection on the cleaning.

No site facilities!

Very good layout, good size bedrooms, all clean and tidy, although lounge carpet felt and smelt damp. Not really enough room for 4 to sit round the dining table comfortably. A freezer compartment would have been useful. Disappointing that the advertised site facilities were not available, including no wifi.

Great base for activities

Thank you for letting us rent this lovely base for our long weekend away. Property benefits from plenty of parking and all the basics you will need to use this property as a great base. :)

Great location

Had a lovely time here, chalet is a 20 minute walk towards the beach. Also a great location for day trips. Had excellent communication with Deb, had a problem and she sorted it out straight away. Enjoyed our stay, would recommend.

Comfortable & convenient chalet

Really nice long weekend. Chalet is on a nice holiday park with simple access to Widemouth Bay. Well equipped and it all works well. The bonus is the outside seating which catches the morning sun, perfect for breakfast outside.

Excellent location, ideal for dog owners

The location is excellent with lovely facilities and easy walk to a dog friendly beach. The property is very clean and contains all you need for your self catering holiday. We only gave a 4 instead of a 5 as we think the property would benefit from a fridge with a freezer compartment and a mirror in the bedroom.

Das Appartment ist gut ausgestattet: Die Küche ist fast vollständig eingerichtet, es gibt TV und DVD, Bettwäsche aber keine Handtücher. Das einzige, was mich gestört hat, war der Teppich in sämtlichen Zimmern. In Mietobjekten sind Teppiche einfach nicht angebracht! Bei so vielen Gästen zu unhygienisch. Und da es außerdem sehr warm war, haben sie/das Appartment leicht gemüffelt. Die Ferienanlage ist auf einem Hügel gelegen mit einem schönen Ausblick auf den Sonnenuntergang und knapp 30minütigem Fußweg (durch Schafsweiden) zum sehr schönen Strand (Hunde erlaubt).

All clean,tidy and kept well. Welcome tea,coffee,sugar,biscuits and milk was appreciated and a nice thought. We had few chilly nights and chalet was warm and snug. We travelled with my 84 year old father,hubby,myself and dog,plenty of room for us all and loved the books that were around the chalet ideal for us. Perfect little site with launderette,games room,shop,superb pool and bar that has some fantastic views and also excellent staff, park area for children,trolleys available to transport your belongings to chalet as no parking near chalets which is great as far as I’m concerned especially for families with young children and dogs,our chalet was a 3 minute walk from car park. Nearby pub 5 minutes walk,beach 10-15 minutes walk or 3 minute drive Black Rock beach,dogs allowed bonus. 20 minutes from Boscastle/Tintagel and 20 minutes from Davidstow RAF museum. Nice little patio area out front. 4 .5 miles from Bude with plenty of cliff top walks,cafes,bars,restaurants or just sitting enjoying the time,space and freedom.
