Overall the condo itself was perfect. It was clean and stocked with everything you would need. No hot water all 5 nights but signs in the elevator said they were working on it. The neighborhood was rough. Lots of people smoking pot and homeless walking the streets. We did not feel safe at night outside of our locked doors. We chose to pay for valet because we didn't feel safe walking to and from our car. The pool was overcrowded so we found our peace on the beach. We loved having a bar to order frozen cocktails and the kids loved the pool side ice cream stand.

Hi Elizabeth, I'm so sorry that you had only warm water during your stay. The building HOA was replacing the furnaces on the roof, and we did not receive any advance warning about that. They did make sure there was hot water at night and in the morning, so the hot water was disconnected from 10am through 3pm each day for a week, but outside of those times, it was connected. I am concerned that you did not find the local area pleasant, as the location is pretty upmarket, being next door to multi-million dollar beach houses! I was there cleaning upholstery ready for the start of the summer season right before memorial day weekend, I certainly have never noted any homeless people anywhere in this vicinity. Unfortunately, some pot-smoking people do vacation from states where smoking pot is legal, and they think it is legal in SC, and it is not. There are stiff fines in SC for possession and smoking it, but I am not sure that travellers are aware of this. I park in the garage on every stay at the resort (at least 7 or 8 times per year) and have never felt unsafe walking between the garage and the resort. The garage and the resort has 24/7 security and there are also cameras in the garage and resort common areas as well as the security firm guards that keeps an eye on everything. Most Myrtle Beach buildings do not have security at all, so I always feel very much more secure having this. I'm glad that you enjoyed the amenities, but as your vacation was in late June, it is expected that the pool area is busy with lots of families enjoying their summer vacation time. I am pleased that you found that overall the condo was perfect, and you enjoyed your time at the beach.

We have done this same weekend trip for 9 years in a row and this was the best one so far. Thank you for having all we needed and good living room sitting area. Loved the recliners. Beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows. It was great all the way around and having a large balcony even though it rained most of the weekend was nice to have access to from the 18th floor. It was a few blocks from the convention center so when it was not raining we could walk. But super easy drive. I will look for it again next year. Rhonda and Crew, Women of Joy Conference.

Great Weekend Girls’ Trip!

A beautiful property that is well maintained, comfortable, and met all of our large group’s needs. Check in was seamless and simple, and the location is central to everywhere we were going. Even better, we booked for the Myrtle Beach Marathon weekend and had a front row viewing of the race on Ocean Blvd. The staff is helpful and friendly, and I would recommend to anyone considering g booking this property.

For the past twelve years, our family vacation has vacationed in Myrtle Beach almost every year. Early on, we dreamed of owning our own beachfront condo to enjoy the glorious ocean views whenever we wanted. A few years ago, my husband and I were fortunate enough to make that dream a reality by finding our home-away-from-home at the Anderson Ocean Club and Spa. Now, several years down the line, in addition to renting out our own holiday home, we get to help our friends and family rent theirs as well!

Whether it's to enjoy a spectacular summer vacation, or simply to escape the cold Northeastern winters, a visit to Myrtle Beach will delight anyone and everyone! Myrtle Beach has so much to offer, and vacationing here offers the best of both worlds--it can be a luxurious personal retreat, an action-packed adventure, or both! Being situated right on the beach also means we get to enjoy quality family time in the sun, sand, and sea without having to lug around all of our stuff for miles on end! Buying a vacation property in Myrtle Beach has been one of the best decisions we've ever made, and I'm so glad we get to share the experience with you all as well!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

The Anderson Ocean Club and Spa is set on the northern edge of downtown, still within walking distance of restaurants and attractions, but in the most upmarket neighborhood of Myrtle Beach, surrounded by multi-million dollar beach-houses. This means that the beach near the resort is quieter and more residential, and yet with every luxury amenity to hand. It is a perfect location, a really elegant building full of Moroccan/Tuscan inspired charm, and a seriously lovely condo.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The beach right outside your door, luxuriously appointed resort and condo with great pool complex, fitness facilities and great pool side bar. On-site luxury spa services, on-site coffee bar, and the views from the living area and master suite and balcony are simply sublime.
