Driftwood Cottage

The view, is spectacular. Great place for someone with limited mobility, able to sit on deck and enjoy the ocean view. There is also close access to a wonderful beach.

Beautiful location

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy home. The views were spectacular and it was about a 15 minute drive to town. The thermostat to the fireplace was not functioning and the beds and pillows were pretty uncomfortable, and likely just need to be replaced.

Amazing view!

My wife and I loved relaxing in the hot tub and listening to the waves. We took the path down to the beach and enjoyed how close it was.

Driftwood Cottage

Close to town but far enough away that you were able to enjoy the peace. Sitting on the deck in the rocking chairs and watching the ocean was awesome.

The Perfect Place to unwind

The Location and View are the star attraction for Driftwood cottage. Just a short and safe walk to beach access. Turn left at the bottom of the stairs to wide open beach perfect for a breathtaking walk along the ocean. Or turn right to a family friendly beach. The cottage has everything you need. It may not be top of the range, however enough for a great escape from the hustle of a busy world. We have stayed here three times and hope to visit again.

This home is on an amazing piece of property. The location is perfect for enjoying the sights & sounds of the ocean. The home is definitely no frills but gives you the basics & the hot tub was great to hang out in.

The best part of this location is the breathtaking views. Cute homey feel, loved the game room. Great location close to downtown fort Bragg. Was also close to wineries, horseback riding and hiking locations

Weekend getaway

Property is dated, definitely could use remodeling. Despite that, it is immaculately kept. Well stocked with essential kitchen items, towels and bedding. Its on a very large privet lot. The hot tub is awesome and the beach access is great! Only downside was the beds were a little uncomfortable and we couldn't get the gas fireplace in the sun room to work. Otherwise we had a lovely stay. beaches in Nor Cal. Down side, beds could use

Beautiful ocean veiw

We enjoyed our stay. Cute little house over looking 10 mile beach. Stair access to the beach was nice to have available. I will be back to stay at this home.

Amazing location and views, although old everything was functional

Loved the property location and access to the beach and calm neighbourhood. Very spacious living area with 2 dogs and 4 adults it was very sufficient. Kitchen had everything necessary.

After Thanksgiving get Away

Fabulous views! Neighborhood is quiet and the short drive to Fort Bragg is lovely. Private access beach was perfect, even with 85 stairs down, then back up! Home's furnace works well but, it is noisy. Kitchen is well equipped but sadly there is no dishwasher. All in all we enjoyed our stay!

Great place with a great view!

The location of this home is what makes it such a fantastic place. Perched on a bluff above seaside Beach gives you amazing views of the oceans. You could hear the waves crashing from inside the home. The neighborhood is great with a nice 84 step stairwell that takes you to the Sandy Beach without having to get in a car. It's a climb but no trouble for two 60 plus year olds ......

View for days

The house was functional. It was not updated especially the bathrooms and kitchen. Beautiful view, private beach and room between the other houses for a private feel.

A perfect getaway

We have stayed at Driftwood Cottage 6 times and have already booked next year. We love your home. It is very casual and relaxing. The view from the deck is amazing. We spent every afternoon at the beach and every evening enjoying a glass of wine while we watched the sun set., We really appreciate being able to bring our dog. That makes the trip more fun for us. Thank you!

Spectacular view

The house is in a very nice well maintained neighbor hood. The house was clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bed was quite comfortable. We tried the hot tub, but, the jets were not working, but the water was definitely hot enough. We called the host and they were pleasant and sent out a spa repair person who fixed it. We very much enjoyed the views and the 84 steps to the ocean was very pleasant.

Location is great, But not the house

Beautiful location. First, the beach axis is at the other end of the neighborhood not very close by the house. Secondly, the beds in the house are terrible. The one in the master bedroom was like a torture device so we moved to the spare room which wasn’t much better and, the sheets were full of sand, third the patio outside with the glass is so cloudy you can barely see the ocean. And fourth the Wi-Fi did not work at all I was texting someone about the matter, but was just told to push the reset button on the router. On a positive note, the house heater works well and there is good water pressure that’s about it.
