Perfect, private villa in the heart of Oia

This villa and our overall stay could not have been more perfect! The villa was at the bottom of all other villas and had maximum privacy. we were 5 women staying together. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were exactly what we needed. The private plunge pool and two outdoor areas to watch sunrise, sunsets, and the beautiful sea were breathtaking. Katerina and her team were in constant communication helping us whenever we needed. We were provided private transfers to and from the airport as well as to Fira, the wineries and Kamari. The sweet house-keeper ensured we had fresh drinking water and cleaned the villa and did laundry when we needed. A nice added touch was having porters help with our luggage on the steep stairs. Katerina and Irina helped with recommendations for restaurants and tips on less-crowded sunset viewing spots. Their recommendation for an inexpensive meal at the top of the stairs to the villa, Skala, was our go-to spot for amazing, mouth-watering grape leaves. If you're looking for a quiet retreat from the hustle and crowds of Oia, don't hesitate in booking Katerina's villa. We could not have wished for a better home for our week in Oia!

Oia Retreat

Ifestio Villas was exactly what we sought in our Oia vacation. Oia has gotten rather crowded, especially when the cruise ships are in port, and it was wonderful being able to escape down the stairs to our own private retreat, enjoying the plunge pool overlooking the caldera. Katerina was the consummate hostess, arranging transportation to/from the airport and taking time to tell us all about the island -- the spots to hit and the ones to avoid. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on. An unexpected benefit were food basics (bread, milk, juice, and wine (of course)), especially appreciated after our overnight flight from Dublin. Anna the housekeeper kept accommodations clean on a daily basis and even helped out with personal laundry needs. Excellent location, gracious hospitality -- we would stay here again.

The location and views were perfect. Our host, Katerina, was so accommodating and helpful. She really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Beautiful way to experience the Santorini views

Our family enjoyed a three night stay at Ifestio villas, and loved our time there. The villa is perfectly located in the heart of Ia, with incredible views. Despite being in the midst of the town, the villa is quiet and peaceful. Katerina was a wonderful host - we appreciated the lovely touches like fresh juice and breakfast items, as well as her detailed information about things to do on the island. The accommodation was comfortable and authentic. We hope to return.

The view was spectacular! , but..........

Although the property outside had a wonderful view and pool, there weren't any lounge chairs, just bean bag chairs that were dirty! The inside was quaint but also dirty, one of the bathrooms had mold from not cleaning and the floors were swept not washed. The maid service wasn't very good . Our host Katarina told us that the water was drinkable and it wasn't! It is well know that islands don't have potable water. So this made the kitchen sink not useable since the water ran cold and not hot in that sink, only the showers had hot water. we all came down with some sort of stomach ailment on the third day and there after. Having a clean place to live for half of a week should not be too much to expect at the current prices. In closing the Island of Santorini and the town of Oia are beautiful as well as this homes views . I hope for future residence this place cleans up its act. Mr and Mrs Nicholas Scafura

I am really sorry to read this review... At your arrival, i spoke you about the history, and i give you the best suggestions. You have booked the same day a wine tour, where your daughter ate something that made her so sick, so next morning at 08.00 you called me to ask for a pharmacy and for a dr. I suppose that you ate all the same things... This inconvenience destroyed all your days in Oia, and in ifestio villas, so that everything was negative for you. I asked you many times if you need something, if you want suggestions to go to the best/safe restaurants and visits, you always said no. You were closed in the villa almost all 3 days, and when you were leaving, i came to say goodbye, and the yang couple said me that everything was perfect and that they had a wonderful time. Even your daughter said thank you for everything. You and your wife were always negative. We put always bottles of water in the villas, i told you that the water was good to cook, to make coffee, even to dring, cause in Oia we have the most modern unit of desalination. Here the locals drink only this water. Nobody had problem !! About the cleaning, i told you, that my excellent housekeeper was pregnant, and in the middle of the season i founded another housekeeper that later i see that was not so good, you have right. After a week she left cause i called my super-excellent housekeeper from Athens so villas are again shining. I told you all of them, and i asked sorry... Unfortunatelly even if it is rare for summer time, we had a strong south wind that days, that brings dust and leeves everywhere...it is something that depends of the weather, not from us ... As about the hot water in the sink of the kitchen, the button of the heating was under the sink . I use to tell it to my guests. Thank God i have more than 300 reviews that everybody speaks about the excellent service and the very clean villas, so you are only one. So people can understand.. No problem. Do not book that villa .

Worst experience of stay in there. Airconditinor was only in living room and not working properly. Bedding was so ugly you can not sleep in there.stove was also not working. The manager Katrina was so rude. If you want to enjoy your vacation never book that property

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to answer ! Thousands of guests loves me, and all, except these people are so happy to stay in ifestio villas ! If guests are as these guests, i do not want them in my villas. They think that we are slaves, they are always demanded maybe because they believe that we are of the lower "casta". Please if you are people like them, do not come !!! I did my best for them, everything they need, i organize everything they want, but they destroyed my villa, they never respect...OMG !!
