Red Rose Cottage was delightful. Very central for the town, shops and 6 minutes walk to sea front. The house was clean and cosy and well equipped and we were made very welcome.

A gem of a house right in the centre of sidmouth, 2 minute walk to the town yet so quiet! Comfortable and clean,well equipped especially the kitchen. Our family including 3 teenage boys loved our stay in red rose cottage and would definitely go back.

Ideal home to stay in Sidmouth

The house was in a perfect location - a few minutes walk to the beach and the shops - but away from the hustle and bustle. Spotlessly clean, easy to communicate with the owners and everything you could need was in the home for a perfect relaxing break!

This property offers everything for the visitor's needs and more with a very comprehensive 'Welcome' pack so we would have loved to have stayed longer but will have to wait for another time. Thank you for letting us stay at your home.

Cottage Sidmouth

Well appointed cottage in Prime downtown location. Excellent equipped and spotlessly clean. Parking space access was very tight and interrupted for several days by nearby roadworks.

Fantastic find and a great base.

The house was fantastic with everything you could wish for from a holiday rental. It is located in the centre of Sidmouth and provides an excellent base for local days out. There is plenty to do in Sidmouth and we really enjoyed how close it was to the sea front, only a 5 minute walk. It was a fantastic find and one that we hope to book again in the future.

Lovely property in great location

The house and Sidmouth were lovely. House very comfortable. Access road to property is narrow, and drive not big enough for 4x4 but parking close by, including High Street which is free from Saturday 6pm until Monday 10am. Richard was a great host.

Seaside treat in beautiful Sidmouth

My partner, myself and our little dog stayed at Rose Cottage for 3 nights over a weekend. We had a fabulous time, the house was in a perfect position, in a quiet backstreet just off the main road. The house was beautifully presented, great shower, comfy bed and a cute little outside courtyard. The kitchen was very well equipped too.We had treats left for us to enjoy, cake, shortbread and prosecco!We had great weather and were able to walk along the beach and sit outside on the seafront for breakfast!Would definitely recommend walking along The Byes, so very pretty.Would definitely recommend staying in this perfect seaside home.

Red Rose Cottage is superb!

Wonderful accommodation! Great communication from Richard. Set up at Red Rose cottage is perfect...if they haven't provided it you dont need it. We felt at home straight away and relaxed into our holiday. Arrival treats were a lovely surprise. Would definitely book again.

We just love Sidmouth! Having been frequent visitors for many years the charm of Sidmouth never faded, the appeal only increased. Spending time in the town and surrounding area is always pleasant, on a bright November day, enjoying an ice cream in the summer or having a potter through the streets leading up to Christmas - every season in Sidmouth is a pleasure.

Having looked at many properties in Sidmouth we just knew that Red Rose was ideal when we walked through the door. A courtyard garden that gets the sun, three bright bedrooms, right in the heart of Sidmouth. The bonus of a parking space, the secluded yet central location. It was just what we were looking for.

We wanted a holiday cottage that was homely and comfortable. Where the furniture was chosen because we think it looks well together, not because it had become redundant in someone else's home, the little things matter.

In January 2022, we had new carpets throughout, and a walk in shower refit in the bathroom - and having road tested it, I can honestly say it is perfect!

We really hope that you enjoy looking at the cottage, and if you choose to stay that you have a really good time in comfortable, relaxing surroundings.
