Absolute gorgeous holiday

We spent a fabulous 2 weeks in this spacious villa. The large garden & surrounding grounds were beautifully kept, the pool was wonderful & the different terraces to sit at were excellent. We used the outside BBQ several times & also enjoyed meals out nearby. We visited Siena, Cortona, Arezzo & Perugia during our stay. Great location & beautiful villa. Perfect for families & larger groups.

Very nice house with a big pool and beautiful garden. The local guy Fabrizio who came almost every day, helped with everything we needed. The only negative thing about the house is the last 2 km road to the house. It is in very bad shape and much worse than we exspected. When the road is fixed we would love to come back.

Gorgeous, peaceful villa. Our family had everything we needed for our week's stay. We couldn't have been happier with the comfortable, welcoming home and the extraordinary gardens and pool. The location looks remote, but there are plenty of cafe's, restaurants, and markets within a short drive. We can't wait to come back.

Federica, Sara e Pietro

Wonderful hilltop retreat

We really loved this property. The grounds are magnificent and the pool a dream. The lawns are exceptionally well tended and there are many lovely corners to seek shade or to while away the hours. The rooms were all well accommodated. The bathrooms are typically Tuscan and the main bedroom spacious. The boys loved the twin bedroom and the kitchen-diner was well equipped and cosy. The only thing missing was a big comfy sofa in the lounge. But a great property and a well worth a visit.

When I and my husband first saw Ca' della Santina, apart from its lovely name, House of the little Saint, our hearts sank looking at the ruins and the fallen trees and brambles in what was once its garden. But whether it was my husband's love affair with Italy (at least that's what he called it) or the magnificent site overlooking breathtaking scenery into Tuscany we took the plunge and decided to rebuild the 300 year old farmhouse in the local style, landscaping the garden and pool area to fit the hillside location. The stonemason, Domenico, who worked on the restoration became literally part of the house. He welcomes guests, offers them his wine, honey and eggs, and looks after the garden and pool with the ambition to make it the most beautiful property in the region. Una meraviglia!

Ca' della Santina's location is the ideal antidote to busy city life. Within minutes of arriving you will enjoy the calm & tranquil countryside location, interrupted only by the cicadas in the trees and lizards lounging in the sun. You can lie by the private pool or retire to the spacious and invitingly, cool house which is bordered by a beautifully landscaped garden and wooded hills and valley beyond. It's the ideal location for anywhere between 2-12 people. A holiday in Ca' della Santina means total relaxation and a chance to recharge your batteries!

Ca' della Santina is the complete package: spacious, traditionally furnished house, stunning gardens with a big private pool all set in beautiful wooded countryside. The idyllic setting which can be enjoyed from the morning and evening terraces will make it hard to leave the property. But if you want to venture out, you will be able to enjoy the bustle of street markets in medieval towns, take in the rich history of this area of Italy and enjoy the delicious food and wine this area has to offer.
