The blackbird's nest: garden and private parking.

The apartment is located in a sunny and quiet area, near the city center and the lake, which are easily reachable on foot. It has large and sunny rooms to live your holidays in total freedom even if you are a large family. It overlooks the garden and private road and has independent access to the first floor. It is located in a private area that offers the calm needed for a good rest and a late morning awakening. It is composed of:
- Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, freezer, microwave, coffee machines and everything you need for the first necessities upon arrival;
- Living room with comfortable sofa and dining area with large table
- a double bedroom with a single mattress, one with 2 single beds that can be converted into a double bed and one with 3 single beds (or 1 double and 1 single). We also have a cot and a cot with bars, two high chairs and games for all ages. The bedrooms have a desk.
The two bathrooms are new and complete with shower and window. Bed linen, towels and kitchen linen are provided.
The outdoor area is equipped with garden furniture that offers comfortable relaxation, and the balcony is furnished for breakfast.
It is equipped with the safety tools required by law. Upon your arrival you will be welcomed by the owner who will show you the house and the characteristics of the place. an identity document is required for all guests.
We offer free parking in front of the house (or in the courtyard), 2 bicycles for adults and 2 bicycles for children (6 years).
Particular attention is paid to the cleaning and disinfection of the rooms and furnishings.
Nearby there are attractions for adults (swimming pools, golf, rowing, zip line, excursions) and for children (water park, climbing structures, Alpyland, Zip line). Maps and books for hiking or cycling excursions are provided. Should heating be necessary, the cost will be paid upon departure according to consumption.

Great home and hosts for stays in Verbania

Carla and Renzo's house was perfect for our stay in Verbania. This place was exactly what we were looking for in that it was not in a very touristy area, had plenty of space for us all, had lots of amenities for kids and had wonderful helpful hosts that helped us enjoy our stay. The house was walkable to the old town part of Intra with strollers and provided a great perspective into how Italians lived their lives. Carla was very helpful to make sure we had everything we needed. This included even upgrading their wifi to make sure I had no problems working remotely. There was a slight language barrier, but Carla and Renzo's cheerful attitude and Google Translate made it not a problem. Our daughter loved playing in the yard including looking at the purple flowers, helping pick tomatoes with Carla and going down the slide. Our son loved riding all the kids vehicles and got a great start at figuring out how to pedal on the tractor. Verbania was a very beautiful area that had all kinds of fun activities to do. We enjoyed the ferry rides, the bucket chairlift, drives to nearby aerial trams in the Alps, going to nearby beaches in Feriolo, Cannero Riviera and Mergozzo. In particular I really enjoyed just walking through the old town of Intra and eating at the restaurants and of course the gelato. Thanks so much Carla and Renzo! Ciao!

Eine wunderschöne Wohnung und eine tolle Gastgeberin

Wir haben eine Woche in der Wohnung von Carla und Renzo gewohnt und unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, nicht zuletzt wegen den tollen Tipps für Restaurants und Unternehmungen, die die beiden zusammengestellt haben, ebenso wegen der zahlreich vorhanden Spielmöglichkeiten für unsere Kinder (inkl. Tomaten pflücken im Garten und Möhren ernten gemeinsam mit Carla). Wir können die Wohnung nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Descanso perfecto

Hemos pasado 6 días en Intra, Verbania, en casa de Carla. La casa se encuentra distanciada del centro pero en tres minutos llegas al mismo, disfrutando de una ubicación perfecta para descansar con total tranquilidad. La casa ha cumplido todas las expectativas que teníamos sobre ella y algunos pequeños detalles se han solucionado rápidamente (alguna bombilla fundida), estando siempre los propietarios pendientes de facilitarnos la estancia, así como facilitarnos información de la zona. Muchas gracias Carla por el magnifico tiramisú que nos hiciste, estaba buenísimo. En resumen magnífica estancia, vivienda con todo lo que puedas necesitar y bien situada para recorrer la zona, con fácil aparcamiento , distanciada del centro pero al que se llega con facilidad.

Great holiday with super nice landlords

We, 4 adults and 2 children had a very nice week holiday at carla and renzo. The reception was very warm, we were greeted with paste and homemade sauce. The apartment on the 1st floor is very spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, everything is top clean. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge for eating and playing. The old town and the lake are only 15 minutes away. Ferries, cable cars and starting points for hikes are within easy reach. Carla and Renzo were always able to help us with all our questions, thank you very much once again for the family welcome here in the apartment, we will often and gladly think back to the beautiful time.

La maison est bien située à proximité de commerces et restaurants. Elle est dans un quartier calme et facile d’accès. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et les équipements sont récents et fonctionnels. Mais c’est l’accueil adorable des propriétaires que nous retiendrons, et qui fait que l’on se sent immédiatement comme à la maison, adultes comme enfants. Séjour très agréable ! Carla et Renzo sont des hôtes extrêmement accueillants et sympathiques !

Les enfants et les grands ont adoré partager de bons moments avec Carla et Renzo et découvrir leurs passions. Tout est prévu, instructions et recommandations en italien, français (très bien parlé par Carla), anglais et allemand. L'appartement est spacieux et très bien équipé (en particulier la cuisine). Bien que situé en quartier résidentiel, on arrive très vite au centre. Seuls bémols, revers de la très belle météo : la chaleur très forte (petit plus : une climatisation ?) et les moustiques très présents, jour et nuit. Nous garderons un très beau souvenir de Verbania et de nos hôtes !

Schöne Wohnung - sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und außerordentlich nette Vermieter

Unser Urlaub in Verbania wird uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Carla und Renzo waren wie Oma und Opa für unsere Kinder. Mein Sohn liebte den Traktor und das Laufrad. Wir haben einige Ausflüge ins Hinterland und die Berge unternommen. Auch zum Orta See sind wir gefahren, der sehr schön ist. Einige Male sind wir auch in die Stadt gelaufen. Man kann auch vom Hafen aus einige schöne Ziele erreichen, zum Beispiel Stresa oder die Borromäischen Inseln. Außerdem gibt es einen sehr schönen Sandstrand in Feriolo, der auch für Kinder sehr gut geeignet ist (ca 15 Minuten mit dem Auto). Es gibt auch fußläufig erreichbar zwei Supermärkte. Samstags ist Markt in Verbania, wo man sehr leckeres Holzofenbrot kaufen kann und auch super Fisch. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Für unser Baby hatten wir sogar eine Wickelauflage auf der Waschmaschine. Es gab auch sehr schöne Spielsachen für unseren Sohn. Carla hatte auch einen Rausfallschutz fürs Bett für uns. Das war super mit Baby. Carla war wirklich außerordentlich hilfsbereit und hat uns wirklich einen wunderschönen Urlaub beschert. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

Fantastisch

Een fraai appartement met alles erop en eraan. Er ontbreekt werkelijk niets. Je kan het zo gek nog niet bedenken of het is aanwezig. Een gastvrij onthaal door Carla en Renzo die het je helemaal naar je zin maken. Op loopafstand van het centrum en Lago Maggiore. Als wij nog eens die kant opgaan, boeken het zeker nog een keer.

Unser Aufenthalt war wunderschön, Carla und Renzo sind sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. die Wohnung hat an Ausstattung wirklich alles, was man braucht, ist absolut sauber und liegt sehr ruhig. In 15min ist man zu Fuß in Zentrum von Verbania.

un lieu de vacances idéal

Nous sommes arrivés chez CARLA et RENZO en touristes, nous en sommes repartis en amis..Dès le 1er soir, ils nous ont accompagné au restaurant, puis le lendemain nous avons dégusté une salade préparée et cultivée par CARLA. .. ils nous ont renseigné et documentés sur les endroits à visiter. Quant à la maison elle est idéalement située dans une impasse donc au calme et non loin de l'embarcadère pour le ferry et les iles Borromées( environ 20minutes à pied). dans cette maison d'une propreté exemplaire nous avons trouvé des chambres spacieuses, une très bonne literie , une cuisine équipée de tout le necessaire et meme plus (en effet : sel, poivre, huile vinaigre thé café sucre sont à disposition). Dans le jardin on trouve une seconde cuisine avec toute la vaisselle. Encore merci à Carla et Renzo pour notre séjour. N'hesitez pas à choisir cet endroit vous ne pourrez en rapporter que de merveilleux souvenirs

Maison très confortable et agréable

Séjour très agréable, dans un quartier calme et tout près du centre: tout était parfait! Maison très propre, vaste, (grandes pièces et belle luminosité), très bien équipée, et on peut aussi profiter du dehors grâce au balcon et au jardin. La maison est également parfaitement située pour visiter la région (accès très rapide au ferry pour rejoindre les îles par exemple), le lac, l'arrière-pays et la montagne, ou simplement un petit tour à vélo pour aller chercher le pain et les croissants! Nous reviendrons car notre séjour fut trop court! Enfin, ce séjour nous a permis de rencontrer Carla et Renzo, des hôtes formidables: gentillesse et disponibilité, générosité (nombreuses petites attentions, salade, limoncello...), discrétion, ils ont toutes les qualités, et donnent des conseils vraiment excellents, à suivre absolument les yeux fermés! Merci encore à vous deux, et bonnes vacances (chacun son tour!), baci e a presto! Marie, Laurent et les filles.

Très agréable séjour au bord du lac majeur.

Nous avons été très agréablement accueillis par des propriétaires chaleureux et aux petites attentions bien appréciables. La maison est d'une propreté exemplaire et confortable, tout est bien pensé et rien ne manque. L'emplacement géographique permet de nombreuses belles visites à proximité. Nous avons loué une semaine fin avril ce qui nous a permis de découvrir les parcs fleuris de camélias, de rhododendrons, de magnolias, de tulipes et de cerisiers du Japon. Magnifique !

A lovely spacious family accommodation in a residential area. About twenty minutes walk from the water front, shops and restaurants/bars. Carla and Renzo couldn't have been more helpful and kind (whilst being unobtrusive).

Accueil merveilleux au bord du Lac Majeur

Carla et Renzo nous ont merveilleusement accueilli avec nos 3 enfants pour 1 semaine fabuleuse de vacances au bord du Lac Majeur. Que ce soit pour les conseils d'excursion, les bons plans resto, achats, mais surtout les jeux et ramassage de tomates avec les enfants, Carla et Renzo font tout pour que nous sentions encore mieux qu'à la maison ! Encore merci !

Sehr schöne und große Wohnung in ruhiger Umgebung

Die großzügige Wohnung liegt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet, die Vermieter wohnen im gleichen Haus und sind überaus gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Nahe gelegene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto oder dem Fahrrad gut zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wunderbare Erholung am Lago Maggiore

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in der Ferienwohnung. Die Anmietung war absolut unkompliziert, der Empfang von Carla und Renzi super nett und freundlich. Die Wohnung ist super sauber und gepflegt, die Betten gemütlich, der Garten klein und wunderschön, die Kinder hatten einen tollen Fuhrpark und viele Spielsachen. Rundum es war ein sehr gelungener Urlaub und wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

The best choice ever

We have rented with VRBO many times but never had a better place or better hosts. This rental is spacious, very, very clean, is nicely furnished and has everything you could wish for. The balcony is the best place to have your morning coffee in the sun and give you a nice view of the neighborhood and a truly Italian feeling. The plants and flowers in Carla's garden and the neighboring houses makes it feel like living in a big beautiful yard. The beautiful town of Intra can easily be reached by foot as well as on bikes which Carla and Renzo generously provide for their renters. This place is perfect for a group of friends, families, basically everybody who wants to have an unique Italian experience. A supermarket is close by (easy walk, easy bike ride) and carries everything fresh and all you need. Carla and Renzo are the most helpful and generous hosts you could wish for and make you feel welcome and at home. The house is in a perfect location for trips to attractions like Monte Mottarone, Lago Mergozzo (great beach!), boat trips to the borromean islands and other cities on the lake. We stayed one week, which was way too short to do everything and see everything the region has to offer.

Sehr schöne, gut ausgestatte Ferienwohnung mit sehr herzlichen Vermietern

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr groß und hat genügend Platz für 6 Erwachsene und 2 Babys. Bei Carla und Renzo fühlt man sich wie zu Hause. Für die kleinen Zwerge standen 2 Babybetten und 2 Hochstühle und ein paar Spiele bereit, es wurde geholfen, das Planschbecken zu befüllen, wir durften vom selbstgebackenen Pizzabrot und von der Schokoladentorte kosten, wir wurden mit selbstgemachten Tiramisu verwöhnt. Wir würden wieder dort Urlaub machen!

Excellent accueil de Carla,comme nous l'avions imaginé, tant nos échanges par mail avaient été chaleureux.Un appartement très soigné,très propre,des attentions délicates à notre arrivée (vin,eau fraîche,fleurs...) et pendant tout le séjour.
