Stunning old farm house in rural setting.

The house was a stunning old farming house hidden amongst the olive groves, almond trees and vine yards, very private and secluded. Communication with host was fabulous and any questions or concerns were addressed immediately. If you want a quiet and peaceful dog friendly holiday then this is the place for you.

Communication with the host was warm, friendly and very helpful. The house was clearly a valued family property with a history. As such not everything was up to date but appliances and kitchen equipment were adequate for our family group. Set on its own in a rural area, in extensive grounds surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, it was very spacious and full of character. The swimming pool was large, deep but great for all ages, the youngest using the area near the steps. The bedrooms were spacious for our group of 6 adults and 7 childen and the house was well provided with bathroom facilities. The house provided us with a great base to explore this very interesting non-tourist area. Within in hour's travel we were able to visit the coast, castles, caves, cities and travel through mountain scenery. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being there.

Superb property in wonderful condition, set in fantastic surroundings and totally private

The photographs don't prepare you for the scale this property is. It is so much bigger in real life. It is immaculate and spotlessly maintained with 2 pool cleaners manicuring the pool each morning for a full hour. Fontanars can provide basic supplies but you need to travel for 30 minutes to get to a supermarket - which we did every other day. The biggest problem were the flies which were a constant distraction throughout our stay, We were all subjected to biters during the night and a check of bedlinen at 2 am typically revealed some snappers on the bedsheets - some with wings some without, which unfortunately targeted us all. I'd suggest mosquito netting on the bedroom windows plus valancess that clear the floor would improve the situation. Overall a wonderful holiday retreat in superb countryside surroundings. Exceptional.

Absolutely fabulous

Just a really amazing property. Everything you could need was there. Very quiet, forest and walks nearby but not too far from the village. Pre arrival and check-in great. We did a wine tasting at a local vineyard too. Wonderful. We’ll be back!

Great for families

What a fantastic place. Well equipped and enough space for 11 of us... would easily cope with more people. There was a constant breeze which meant that the temperature was cooler than you would expect for the end of July. So quiet and peaceful. Only 15 mins from pou clar which we went to a couple of times but we were happy just to relax in the house. Belen and Jorge (who look after the house) were very helpful and quick to sort out any of our queries (as was the owner beforehand). Would whole-heartedly recommend this place if you are looking for a getaway with a couple of other families.

DESCANSO ESTUPENDO!

PAZ Y TRANQUILIDAD

HEMOS ESTADO CINCO DIAS Y LA ESTANCIA HA SIDO CASI PERFECTA, NOS HA FALTADO QUE LA COCINA FUERA UN POCO MAYOR, YA QUE AL TENER QUE COCINAR PARA MUCHAS PERSONAS SE QUEDA PEQUEÑA, TAMBIEN SERIA NECESARIO UN FRIGORIFICO DE APOYO PARA MANTENER LAS BEBIDAS FRESCAS Y QUIZA LA INSTALACION DE ALGUNAS MOSQUITERAS EN LAS VENTANAS. LA MESA DEL COMEDOR IMPRESIONANTE, LA HABITACIONES MUY AMPLIAS, LOS ASEOS MUY BIEN
