Casa Milagros-A Home in the Jungle

A 20 minute drive to the Caribbean beaches of Tulum, Casa Milagros is located in a small private jungle community that is secured by a front entrance gate. Among the trees in a high canopy jungle, this completely sustainable home has 2 bedrooms both with ceiling fans and mosquito netting, a full functioning kitchen, living room, outdoor patio and two full baths with hot water showers.

There is also a one bedroom treehouse that sleeps two for families who need more space. It is listed under Casita Milagros and can be reserved along with the main house.

The easily accessible rooftop is a beautiful place to bird watch or spot the toucans and spider monkeys that often visit in the early evening. Twilight brings shades of deep blue to the jungle sky and a signal to mother nature that bedtime is near. Animals traversing the treetops in search of their nests provide a symphony of sound just before the spray of starlight quiets all.

After lounging on the white sand beaches, swimming in the turquoise blue ocean waters, visiting the Mayan ruins of Tulum or Coba, shopping in Tulum Centro, and exploring the nearby Mayan villages, Casa Milagros is a tranquil retreat.

Amazing experience in the Tulum jungle

We stayed at Casa Milagros and had an absolutely amazing time!! The house is SUPER charming and located in an incredible "zen style" complex in the middle of the forest, about 5 minutes by car outside the city of Tulum, and about 10 minutes from the best Tulum beach restaurants and clubs. Clayanna is an incredible host, she really helped to make our stay special, providing us with totally custom tailored recommendations that fit our tastes "to a T", as they say. It was such a unique experience to be in a totally sustainable, "off the grid" house in the middle of nature. To feel the energy of the nature all around the house and the sound of the birds / monkeys coming to life first thing in the morning was simply magical. Almost like going camping, but in the comfort of a stylish, beautiful home constructed and designed with lots and lots of love. MUST have a car at this location (or at least a scooter), as it is a bit of a drive to get into town (too far to walk certainly). We'll be back again soon, I hope! Best, Hans
