Nice place for the price

It was a last minute trip to SD. Price was nice and location was great. Just a couple blocks from the amusement park a few steps from the beach. The owners were very good with communication. They texted us to let us know that it was ready early and we could go whenever we want it.

good but i should stay on ground floor I'm to old for stairs. also not having a parking spot was worse than expected but I knew i was upstairs with no parking soall that's on me

It is very close to the beach as described which is great. The building however is a four-plex so there are two units upstairs. While the balcony appears private it is not unless the other upstairs is vacant. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs because any conversation or music in the other unit is completely heard even with the windows closed. Also if they are smoking in the other unit it finds its way in as well. You will want the windows open for cooler air in the evenings and again earplugs for us light sleepers. My wife had no trouble sleeping and enjoyed the sound of the waves.

It was fine

Pro's: slight ocean view, clean, has all the necessities, beach toys and umbrella available, great wifi. Con's: only the ceiling fan was in the apartment and it does get toasty starting around 10am, no AC means the windows stay open all the time and you get to hear everything in the neighborhood, don't stay here if you don't like parking several blocks away if you can find a spot at all, only flat sheets and comforter on the bed, no fitted sheet so you end up on the mattress protector and no other blanket options, several things about the property were not the same as the pictures represented (i.e. the bedding, lamps, extra fan), the shower curtain liner was dirty, and the shower head needs to be replaced. Not a great place if you want a quiet vacation and not super private since the windows have to stay open.

Awesome location

Great location less than a block to the sand. The unit is pretty dated, but bed was comfy and I could here the waves when I went to sleep.

Nice view of ocean and beach.

Cleaning crew not particularly good. Top of refrigerator has not been cleaned in months. Kitchen minimally equipped.

Disgusting

Pros : location. Very close to the beach. Cons: absolutely filthy, Stains in the toilet, crusty used hard hand towel in the shower, hair all over the “clean towels”, bath tub didn’t drain and outlets didn’t work. Paper towels provided were dusty and dirty, looked disgusting on top of the fridge, no coffee left.

Things to consider

More cookware, especially bowls would have been nice. Blackout Curtains on the west two windows would increase privacy and block light.

Great little condo, but parking sucks!!!

The condo and amenities were great. The only compliant that I would have is no parking. We did not have issues with walking, but the public parking areas were closed during a few hours of the night which meant we would have to get the car by 10pm and try and find street parking. However, you cannot park on the street from 8am-10am Mon-Thurs. So, then we would have to make sure to move the car from the street before 8am and park back in the public parking area. We did this until Thursday night at which point we found street parking again and stayed there until we left on Saturday morning. I would be interested in see information on the other condo upstairs and the one downstairs as well.
