Just steps away from the ocean and bay, this newly renovated studio condo with luxury designer details was built in 2011 and is just what you need for your beachside retreat. The seaside getaway with modern conveniences is located at the southern tip of famous Mission Beach and only a short walk to stores, groceries and restaurants and is the ideal place to spend a quiet and relaxing vacation. A great place for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families.
Sometimes little interaction with guest, but we live only 15 mins away so just call us. :)
We are located in the quieter south end of Mission Beach with everything you need only a short walk away.
-- 1/2 block to the beach
-- 1 1/2 blocks to the bay
-- 1/2 mile away from to Historic Belmont Park where you can ride the roller coaster, eat some ice cream, and watch the people walk by as you enjoy a drink at one of the oceanfront bars/restaurants.
-- 1.5 miles to Garnet Ave; which makes up the heart of Pacific Beach, where you can find great shopping, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, Trader Joe's, Vons, a 24 hour fitness, many yoga studios, and much more..
-- 1/2 mile to the nearest bus stop.
-- 3 miles to Sea World
-- 8 miles to North Park - The center of hip beer bars and breweries!
--Less than 9 miles to Downtown San Diego and the Gaslamp Quarter; which provide fun night life and more upscale restaurants and bars.
-- 9 miles to the San Diego Zoo and beautiful Balboa Park.
-- 9 miles to the airport and downtown Amtrak station.

Door codes will be sent to you on day of arrival. Please note that check-in time is 3pm. When other guests check out at 11am, we to do our best to get it ready for you by 3pm.
To OPEN lock, press the small button Schlage, then enter your 4 digit door code. Push down on door handle and the door should open.
To lock from inside, pull door handle straight up vertical to engage 2 hooks inside door. Then, simply turn the deadbolt to lock.
To LOCK from OUTSIDE, just press the schlage button (or the four digit code). It will make a sound as it locks. then, You may test it to make sure.
Newly renovated studio condo. New designer kitchen and granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Travertine flooring and travertine bathroom. Full AC and heating for comfortable climate control. Fully outfitted kitchen with all the tools, plates, cups, bowls, etc should you want to cook during your stay. Two countertop height stools are included for dining. If you would like additional stools, please contact us 1 week in advance. Designated uncovered parking space is included + street parking is also available. We provide beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella. Bike rentals are available just up the street.

PET FREE Residences - Pets and animals are not allowed in our building under any circumstances. This is for the health and safety of current and future guests and owner's allergies. We appreciate your cooperation. Please search for "Pet-Friendly" listings if you wish to bring your animal. There is a generous number of Pet-Friendly listings that have play and convenience areas for your pet.
The following rules apply with respect to service and assistance animals:
a. A deposit shall not be assessed for service or assistance animals, but guests are financially
responsible for any injury to persons or damage, repair or replacement of property
relating to any service or assistance animal.
b. Guests are responsible for sanitary disposal of all waste products of service or assistance
animals, including removal of waste materials from outdoor areas and disposal of such waste in trash receptacles.
c. The guest shall provide (i) evidence of current immunization, and (ii) veterinarian contact information.
d. Service animals will be in the company of the guest at all times.
e. Assistance animals are not to be left alone in the accommodation unless crated.
f. All assistance animals must be properly leashed when outside the accommodation
and must not be left unattended when outdoors.
g. No animal, either service or assistance, will be permitted to sleep or lie on any bed or furnishings in the accommodation.
It is agreed that the forgoing provisions are necessary components of the reasonable
accommodation that is the subject of this Addendum. Noncompliance with this Addendum
constitutes a violation of the host rules and may authorize the remedies for violations provided, including eviction.
SMART SPEAKERS: -Some of the units in the building are supplied with an Amazon smart speaker for guests to use for playing music, asking questions, etc. Although it is not considered a recording device, if guests feel uncomfortable with the device, we ask them to please unplug it during their stay.
Security Cameras: Note the building is equipped with a video surveillance camera to monitor public spaces. We've had a few instances where there were large parties so the camera was installed to monitor these situations both for the safety of our guests and the hosts.
CONSTRUCTION: There is occasionally planned public street improvements in the neighborhood which can temporarily affect power and water services. Hosts are normally given adequate warning and will let you know prior to any service disruptions. However emergency repairs are possible. As for residential construction, a city ordinance of San Diego prohibits residential construction between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Should you hear any noise during those dates, please be sure to contact the host ASAP so we can cite the offenders. Outside of those dates, there may be intermittent noise from construction during the day in the neighborhood.
This unit has parking right in front of the suite!! Once you park, you can just walk most everywhere. Bikes are available to rent just up the street. But walking is just fine if you want to concentrate on beach time.
A car is helpful if you want to get to the farther attractions in San Diego such as LegoLand and the Safari Park or if you have a child that needs a car seat.
Otherwise, the best way to get around is to use Uber/Lyft/Bird Scooters/and Lime Bikes... Combining these services is fun and affordable!
NOTE: This is a 150 sq foot open plan studio apartment. There is no separate bedroom or living room. Ideal for 3 adults max, 1 adult + 3 children, or 2 adults + 2 children. Please read all descriptions and view all photos prior to booking to familiarize yourself with the size and layout of the unit.
Super close to the water....2 min walk to the ocean beach/pier or 5 min to the bayside. We are ONE house ( 80FT) away from the boardwalk. Just a seven min walk to laundromat/ pizza/market/liquor store.
Note for pack n play crib and /or high chair please request set up prior to check in day so we can reserve it for you. Wifi - Please choose the router with the strongest signal and login with the password "swimiowa" (no quotes no spaces)
