Welcome to your Maui Retreat: Spacious studio with a full kitchen and large bathroom. Located at the very popular Maui Eldorado Resort in Kaanapali sleeps up to 4 people comfortably. The resort is located next to the Kaanapali Golf Course and is close to the beach, restaurants, and shops! Maui Eldorado J209 is the perfect place to spend your well-deserved Maui vacation!

We love staying at the Maui Eldorado and J209 was perfect for us. The unit was quiet and had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing vacation. We even received a call from property manager just making sure we had a nice stay.

Great place to stay

Close to the beach and access to 3 pools. Place was clean. They give you everything you need except for food (Costco 5 mins from airport).

Excellent stay - well furnished, lots of space, great location

We were very happy with our stay! The place is surprisingly spacious, the kitchen is very well stocked. The place is clean and comfortable and well furnished.The air conditioning was great. We had everything we need. We walked to the beach every day!

Love Eldorado

We love the eldorado. As always travel with our daughter, son in law and grandchildren. We’ve stayed in multiple different studio suites - we were very pleased with this one. There are parts of it that could use more updating but we knew of this before we booked. Great location, close to the front of building J which makes access to beach and pool excellent! Would definitely book this unit again.

Maui eldorado

Great pool and barbecue area. Great area to stay. Lots of walking or running on the boardwalk along the ocean. Short walk to ocean from the property. Unit needs some upgrades as some the kitchen cupboard doors were coming off the hinges. Bathroom needs an upgrade as tub finish was worn off.

Ka’anapali studio

Overall great location within walking distance of many restaurants and an awesome snorkel shop. Fairly clean, however there were drawers with clothing left in them and debris. There was a vacuum so we able to clean them ourselves. The cleaning staff just needs to be aware to check in between guests. Would definitely stay here again.

Maui at Maui Paradise

Quick walk to the beach, next to a beautiful Golf Course. Room had all we needed. Washer, Dryer, Full Kitchen. Parking was easy. Wifi Excellent. TV was nice, but we were out and about much of the time - It's Maui! Great Air Cond. Bed was a bit soft, but way better than some other places we have stayed. We go 2x or more each year and are planning to be back for the whales in Dec. Hope they show up early!

Amazing!

This property is the only one we stay at. We visit Maui between 2-3 times per year. Building J is my favorite because it is so close to the beach. This unit has very outdated kitchenware. Bought a pineapple and the knives wouldn’t even cut it. But hey you are in Maui so none of that matters. It was an amazing week. Can’t wait til my return to Maui Eldorado in December. Aloha!

Upgrade needed

This is our third time staying at El Dorado and we love staying here. This time we stayed in J209. This condo needs upgrading and a better house cleaning team. When we arrived there were dirty linens and dirty dishes in the cabinet. Kitchen is very dated and painting needed in bathroom.

Paradise

The condo was great overall, with a fantastic location and all the essentials provided. It was a nice touch having a barbecue on the deck, along with beach chairs and a few other handy items for the beach. However, the condo could use a bit of a refresh—some of the walls were noticeably marked, and the bathroom felt quite dated. While it was clearly clean, the wear and tear were evident. A fresh coat of paint and some updates to the bathroom would make it even more inviting. Overall, I would still recommend it.

Amazing value

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this property or the room we booked. The location was amazing. We were able to walk and take the free trolley to Whaller's village for shopping and dining as well as access to Kaanapali Beach. The main pool was lovely and the grounds were lush and well-maintained. Check-in was fast and easy and we were able to check in an hour early as the room was clean and ready to go. You could see and feel the cleanliness of the room. I noticed the floors had been mopped which I appreciated. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft. We had everything we needed and would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much for a great stay.

I did feel that the toilet paper provided was very scimitar, bad quality. The kitchen utensils supplies are old and need replaced. The cabana was completely out of towels one day and would run out. Parking is limited and really narrow. Comfortable bed and pillows. There were limited towels and there was very limited laundry soap. If I’m supposed to wash my own towels there should be plenty provided. Surface clean. Really needs a good deep clean. Under coffee pot was filthy. Otherwise fair. The price was way too high for what it was.

Awesome beach area with cabana. Room was adequate.

Best part about the Maui Eldorado is the beach area with private cabana. Short walk to the beach - chairs and towels provided there, along with a bathroom and kitchen and a place to stay dry during the many showers throughout our stay. Room was adequate. Furnishings were nice. Bed was comfortable. Condo was clean. Kitchen was very sparsely appointed. Bare necessities only - no salt or pepper - the coffee filters did not fit the coffee pot (which did not have an auto shut-off), very little storage. Bathroom was okay - closet doors in need of repair or replacement. 3 of the 5 recessed lightbulbs in the kitchen were burned out. Looked in closet for replacements but did not find any. Probably could have called maintenance but we were only there a couple days so didn't bother. You'd think the cleaning people would notice and take care of this? Biggest issue probably is the sliding door and screen. Barely moved at all - very hard to open and close and the door did not lock. Unable to get the doors together properly so the locking mechanism would work. Luckily we were on the second floor so I worried less about leaving our things in an unlocked condo, but had we been on the ground level I would not have felt comfortable leaving the room. I realize the owners probably don't live nearby, but whoever is in charge of managing or cleaning should be held to a higher standard for seeing that things are in working order for the next visitor.

Aloha Michele, Thank you for bringing the sliding doors not working properly to our attention. We have since repaired them and apologize for the inconvenience it caused you. The lights in the kitchen could of been take care of if you had called us to let us know that they were out. We did contact housekeeping to make sure that they let us know when they are cleaning to let us know if any bulbs are out. We would of happily came that day to fix the issues. In the future, please don’t hesitate to call our Service Managers to assist you with any issues during your stay. For most issues, we can have someone out the same day. Know that we value your feedback and are constantly working towards improvement and professionalism in our company. Mahalo.

The hot water knob in the shower was broken upon arrival, so no hot water in the shower for 4 days until it was repaired. VRBO was absolutely no help. The VRBO customer service agent kept asking me to send a picture or video of the problem. How is a picture going to tell you that the water is not hot? He then told me that I had no grounds to file a complaint since the listing did not specifically state that there would be hot water in the shower. I would expect that in anything other than a third world country, having hot water in the shower would be a reasonable assumption. Property management did eventually fix the shower, but offered no other accommodation for the 4 days that the hot water didn’t work, were either slow to respond to questions or simply never responded , and, so far, no compensation for the inconvenience.

Merveilleux endroit tranquille. D’avantage pour adultes. Calme. Il faut marcher pour aller à la plage. Aucun problème pour ma fille de 18 ans et moi. En plus, possible d’avoir un lift en kart. Très bien situé. Grand. Très bien climatisé. Havre de paix.

Stay in Maui

This was a average stay with good location. I would rate it a 3 star with amenities you would need. It u r looking for more amenities u will pay more else where. It had a beautiful cabana and the hotel had runs on the golf carts to help getting to and from the beach. We did not use the kitchen facilities but they had amenities needed.

J209 needs upgrade to plumbing and toilet/ shower area!

We had a plumbing leak in the washroom day 3.. We found black mold in the vanity and mystery fluid running down the wall beside the toilet. We where their for 3 weeks and had no vacuum in the unit until we we asked the property manager. He did get the plumbing fixed the next day and dropped off a vacuum. The air conditioning unit sounds like a door slamming ing the complex every time it goes on and off. Not nice to listen to at night! We have stayed at the Eldorado lots of times before ,however this was not the the best experience we have had there. If the washroom and plumbing where updated ,and had there been better attention to cleaning we would not be complaining.

Location location location

El Dorado is in the best spot to access beaches and restaurants. Laid back with good pools, friendly staff.
