Great apartment

This apartment is a block away from a very authentic market with great seafood and produce. All historical places are just a walk away as well. The apartment is great but we especially loved the deck off the bedroom. Exquisite views! Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and wonderfully equipped

Easy walk to Mercato Al Capo to shop or eat. Quick walk to the Cathedral etc. Fabulous views to old city. Owner helped us book transit to and from airport. Cannot say enough good things.

Sanctuary in the heart of Palermo

Very close to the Capo but quiet enough for sleep, we were able to explore the city on foot. The terrace was a great asset and our host was available but we didn’t need anything. Palermo can be rough but not in this elevator assisted apartment.

Cute loft with a great view!

Luigi's apartment is very cute and well stocked. Unfortunately, the elevator broke during our stay and it became a very steep three-floor walk up. Otherwise, warm but lovely!

Great apartment in the Capo

We stayed at Luigi's apartment in January - everything was perfect. Good wifi, well equipped kitchen(although who cooks on vacation IN ITALY?!), good heating. Luigi met us at a designated spot, took us to a parking structure, about 5 min away from the apartment, and then we walked to the place. He is a fantastic and helpful host, explained in detail all there is to know about the surroundings, sights and the restaurants. The neighborhood is a little too authentic for my taste (Capo market), but it's perfectly safe and well centered. Can't beat it for the location and the price!

Authentic

We were delayed because of a hurricane and our trip was cut from 5 days to 1 on full day. Fele, Luigi’s son met us late on the night we arrived to load up our luggage at the parking garage, and give us a tour of the apartment. We found the apartment to be comfortable and charming. The location was excellent if you want an authentic Palermo experience! We were so sad we couldn’t soak up more of this apartment and city!

Beautifull appartment, the best place in Palermo

We stayed in this beautiful apartment for a week in March 2015. Lovely functioning apartment on the 3rd and 4th floor . The balcony offers views over the rooftops and towers with the mountains as a backdrop. The apartment is located in the old town. In the adjacent streets there were markets with fruits, vegetables, groceries , clothes ... The best place in Palermo. When we arrived we were picked up at the station by Luigi and when we left Luigi brought us to the station. Fine service. Gitte and Bo, Denmark

A gem in the centre of Palermo

We loved this apartment! The listing description was 100% accurate - spacious, well renovated, furnished (plenty of storage) and equipped. The flat was clean and well maintained. Even in December we were able to enjoy the terrace in the sun with wonderful views over the old city and on to the mountains. Luigi was a charming host - responsive and attentive - he arranged to meet us at the airport bus stop in town and whisked us to the apartment. He had thoughtfully provided all necessary foodstuffs for a first breakfast and gave us plenty of information and recommendations on local attractions and restaurants. Particularly liked Antica Focacceria S. Francesca and nearby Spano restaurants. The Capo street market just round the corner is terrific - great fish, vegetables and fruit, bakery and nearby egg man - best, freshest eggs ever. All in all, highly recommended!

In the heart of Palermo

The apartment was everything we expected it to be: clean, fully stocked with all the kitchen utensils, and spacious. The most notable feature without doubt is the terrace where you can sip your coffee or wine as you enjoy a wonderful view of the "cattedrale." The apartment is conveniently located near the Teatro Massimo, not far from the Piazza Politeama, just around the corner from the Capo market, and only about ten minutes away from the "cattedrale." As a matter of fact, just about all of Palermo's major sights (add the Palazzo Reale, the Piazza Marina, the Fontana Pretoria, and the numerous churches) can be reached on foot within 20 minutes. I should also mention the Ristorantino Spano, an excellent (if somewhat pricey) seafood restaurant, which is no more than a five-minute walk away. Luigi is an excellent host/landlord: when we arrived, he met us at the bus stop at Piazza Politeama, and when we left, he drove us back there; we greatly appreciated his kindness since it saved us dragging our suitcases for about a kilometre or enticing a taxi into the narrow street. At one point, the elevator stopped working properly: we had barely sent off an e-mail to Luigi, when the repairman showed up and had it all fixed again. Luigi clearly very much cares about his guests. We can recommend this apartment to anyone who wishes to live close to the major sights and the heart of Palermo, and who wishes to live as a Palermitan among Palermitans.

Amazing location! View from the balcony is absolutely gorgeous. Bed is comfortable and bathroom, living area and kitchen are perfect. This is the perfect place to stay if you are a couple. The winding stairs to the bedroom might be tricky if you are senior.

In the heart of Palermo, this was the authentic experience we wanted. The apartment is clean, comfy bed, close to street markets, food and shopping. Walkable if you’re a walker (we are), easy access to bus or taxi if you’re not. Raffaele was responsive, provided helpful tips and advice. A very enjoyable stay.

Rafaele s’occupe de la conciergerie avec devouement. Il est tres prevenant si besoin il y a. Le lieu est situé a proximité des patrimoines architecturaux de la ville au coeur du marché capo. C’est dommage ces poubelles dans les rues ! J’etais avec mon epouse, l’appartement est confortable pour 2, sécurisé. La chambre en duplex est tres agreable. J’ai du acquitté une taxe de sejour de 4/pers/nuit non précisé initialement.

Über den Dächern Palermo’s

Wir waren für 3 Nächte in diesem Apartment. Es war ein Traum. Eine super voll ausgestattete Wohnung in bester Lage. Gleich vor der Tür sich morgens vom Markt ein Frühstück und Kaffee zu holen, haben wir sehr genossen. Das beste an der Wohnung ist die Dachterrasse. Der Blick ist fantastisch. Der Gastgeber war super freundlich und jederzeit zu erreichen. Es war genial und es gibt nichts auszusetzen.

Eine wunderbare Woche in Palermo

Die Wohnnung mitten in Palermo war ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um Palermo zu Fuss zu erkunden.Der Blick von der Dachterasse war traumhaft schön. Unser Vermieter Luigi war sehr zuvorkommend und sehr hilfsbereit bei allen Frage.Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet.Wir haben uns gleich wohlgefühlt. Mit dem Capo Markt in der Nähe konnten wir von Fisch über Gemüse und Obst alles besorgen um zu kochen und gemütliche Abende ohne Trubel auf der Dachterasse zu verbringen.Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schönes Apartment in guter Lage

Für unseren Kurzurlaub in Palermo war Luigi’s Apartment idealer Ausgangspunkt um die wesentlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besuchen. Die Wohnung befindet sich auf zwei Ebenen, ist gut ausgestattet und hat eine angenehme Athmosphäre. Nette Restaurants in der Nähe! Besondere Highlights : Aufzug, 2 Bäder und der Ausblick vom oberen Balkon über die Dächer Palermos, zur Kathedrale, sowie zum Normannenpalast! Wir würden wiederkommen!

Immer wieder gerne

Die Wohnung hat eine fantastische Lage, mitten in der Altstadt, um die Ecke der Markt und gefühlte hunderte von Einkehrmöglichkeiten; trotz allem ist die Wohnung sehr ruhig und man hört von alledem nichts. Das schönste ist natürlich der Blick von der Terrasse über die Dächer von Palermo und zum Dom. Super Kontakt zum Vermieter Luigi - danke für die schöne Zeit.
