Nous avons infiniment aimé Beaurecueil où nous avons trouvé tout ce que nous cherchions: la présence d'une nature assez "sauvage" avec de magnifiques arbres; je pense notamment aux pins majestueux qui surplombent la piscine et donnent une vue enchanteresse à ceux qui nagent sur le dos! La piscine, parlons-en, est de belles dimensions et y nager est un vrai plaisir. Il faudra néanmoins penser à renouveler quelques équipements (parasols et transats)! La maison est très bien agencée (avec notamment une belle circulation de la lumière) et équipée (mention spéciale pour la cuisine où il y a vraiment tout ce qu'il faut!). Alentour règne un calme propice à la contemplation, à la lecture, à l'écriture. Et bien sûr la Sainte Victoire offre ses perspectives toujours captivantes.André et Nicole sont des hôtes attentifs et chaleureux qui se soucient du bien-être de leurs locataires et sont toujours présents en cas de problème.

Zwei großartige Wochen

Wir haben die Zeit im Haus wirklich sehr genossen. Das Grundstück samt Pool ist perfekt, um aus dem Alltagsstress auszusteigen. Man kommt an und ist in einer anderen Welt. Wunderbar! Alles, was wir brauchten, war vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert - und die Gegend und ihre Sehenswürdigkeiten sowieso ein Traum.

Could be 5 star with a little work.

This house is a 30 minute drive to the town of Aix En Provence, and it’s in a lovely countryside area so if you want the peace of the country, it’s perfect. But there are problems with it. First, there’s a deep-down dirty in the kitchen and the bathrooms. It’s more than wiping down surfaces. It requires a deep clean. The beds are slight, old and on frames, so not comfortable. The bedding is a mish-mosh of old sheets, pillowcases and covers. The pillows were old, very soft and some covers were coming apart at the seams. Because they don’t have a dryer, the towels, which were hard to find, old and mismatched were ‘crusty’ from being hung out to dry. The ceiling had mysteries of spots and clumps, so you wondered what might fall down on you. The outdoor patio table and chairs were filthy so had to be cleaned before we could sit on them. And the ground space upswept and messy. The area around it wasn’t landscaped or cleaned up so weeds everywhere. Would have been lovely, once cleaned and minimal landscape, to have some patio lights above it so you don’t sit in the dark in the evenings. The pool is lovely, though cloudy when we arrived, told because of the pollen, but no landscaping around it, so we didn’t feel comfortable getting into or sitting around the pool. This property has so much potential with minimal work to make it a 5-star. We hope the owners fix it up; if it was, we’d recommend and return.

Maison très agréable

Merci beaucoup à André et Nicole pour leur patience le jour de notre arrivée ! Belle maison, grande. La chambre en hauteur peut devenir chaude en été. Le terrain est grand, donc on est bien au calme. Belle piscine, grande, donc très agréable Cuisine avec beaucoup de matériel, donc très pratique. Bref, très bon séjour !

Choose this property to have a good time.

The property was completely clean, lovingly furnished. Spent most of the holidays in and around the house; also made a few racing-bike cycling tours or trips by car to Cannes, St. Tropez and Marseille. For sure a good location in the countryside especially also in the pandemic situation of 2020/21, being able to spend time just amongst the family/vacationists to relax, talk, read or play games. Very large pool and property are very well maintained and we had more than just the property when arriving but everything we needed to "survive" until we made our first way to the supermarket! We from our view absolutely recommend the property!

Wonderful experience

I cannot recommend enough staying here. We had a lovely time. The owners are great and take good care of their guests. The house is wonderful with lots of space, a pool, BBQ, ping png table, etc. And all this close to Aix and an easy day trip to Marseille or Avignon. A great experience

Agréable séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Beaurecueil, la maison est propre , bien entretenue et très agréable ! Parfaite pour se reposer avec le chant des cigales ! La piscine est immense on peut bien y nager et y mettre des bouées gonflables sans l’encombrer !Les enfants de moins d’1 m30 n’ont pas pieds mais cela n’a pas empêché ma fille de s’amuser et nager comme un poisson dans l’eau ! André le propriétaire est très sympa, disponible et réactif en cas de besoin . Merci pour votre accueil nous en gardons de très bons souvenirs.

Love, love, loved it!

The house is comfortable and charming, and the location is ideal. The view on to the famous St Victoire mountain was my favorite bonus surprise. The property is very large and vegetated. Definitely a quiet and private experience. Taking walks around the property was very meditative. 5-6 people can comfortably enjoy this lovely country house which lacks in nothing. We cocked many delicious meals and enjoyed them on the picturesque patio. (Little tip: save your restaurant money as the restaurant food was nothing to write home about and prepare your own French meals. The produce, cheeses, breads, meats, and wine in the supermarkets are very good!). The clean and large pool is fantastic. It was nice to be able to do laundry and have a dishwasher (with all the meals we cooked ;). There was plenty of fire wood and we enjoyed the one or the other cozy fire in the beautiful fireplace. The drive to nearby Aix (15-20 min) is easy and the access to bakeries or supermarkets in the vicinity was about 10 min. Andre and Nicole were wonderful and responsive hosts. I can't wait to rent this gem of a house again soon and experience the magic that is Provence.

Wonderful, relaxing holiday in beautiful nature setting

We had a wonderful week at Beaurecueil. The house and surrounds are beautiful and there is plenty of space to enjoy living inside and outside. The setting is simply spectacular if you like being immersed in nature, swimming in the pool and playing table tennis! André and Nicole were very friendly and helpful in every way. The house is tastefully decorated and everything we needed for cooking and relaxing was available. We will be back for sure! Thank you André and Nicole!

Am Mont St. Victoire

Abgeschiedenes Landhaus mit großem Pool und Blick auf den Berg. Die Landschaft wurde nicht zufällig von Cezanne verewigt...so schön! Das Haus ist ausreichend groß für 5-6 Bewohner, vollständig eingerichtet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten 5 Fahrminuten entfernt. Das Haus entspricht sonst der Beschreibung. Zuweg: schmale Straße mit einigen tiefen Bodenwellen. Andre weißt auf langsames Fahren hin, dies sollte man beherzigen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Très bien, beau et reposant

Nous étions venus pour la campagne de Ste Victoire qui est magnifique, surtout à la saison des iris, et nous n'avons pas été déçus. C'est une maison de vacances grande ouverte sur l'extérieur, des abords un peu sauvages et beaux, très facile à vivre. Mais aussi une maison de famille avec des détails bien pensés, soigneusement entretenue et parfaitement équipée. La juste mesure. Séjour sportif, familial et culturel très réussi.

Nice cosy holiday house inbetween beautifull nature

Although the rain spoiled the outside pleasure, the house itself gives enough conformt to stay over for a long time. Nice fully equipt kitchen, cosy bathrooms and sleeping rooms. The host was very helpfull. All together this was a delightfull stay, never to forget.

Great, stylish house in a lovely setting

What a lovely house and great surroundings! The house was very clean, tastefully furbished and the kitchen was excellent equipped. The pool, the garden and terrace are all spacious - everything was there that makes a stay in a holiday home cosy and comfortable. It is very quiet, although Aix-en-Provence is only a 15 minutes drive. We also enjoyed hiking in the St. Victoire mountains. We are also very grateful for the flexibility and kind help Andre offered when we had to change our plans due to circumstances. Thanks again! We can definitely recommend the house and hope to come back some time.

Vacances réussies

Une semaine de vacances dans un cadre exceptionnel, avec le chant des cigales en musique de fond et les bains rafraîchissants à volonté dans la grande piscine. La maison a beaucoup de cachet et est très confortable. Alentours une région magnifique. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement sympathiques et disponibles. Chaudement recommandé.

Très bien!

Nous avons passé 2 superbes semaines de vacances. Accueil chaleureux, maison de taille idéale, piscine géante, le soleil, la sainte victoire... Cuisine très pratique avec tout ce qu'il faut pour vraiment cuisiner, une belle terrasse ombragée, la table de ping pong, un coin pour jouer à la pétanque devant la maison. Seul petit point minus, pour lequel le propriétaire ne peut rien, sont les chiens dans les propriétés d'en face et derrière la maison, qui aboient aussi la nuit et leurs propriétaires ne semblent pas entendre. Emporter des bouchons d'oreilles! Sinon, nous nous sommes vraiment régalés. Merci André!

Excellent gîte au calme au pied de la sainte victoire

Gîte très calme, agréable, bien placé en pleine nature au pied de la Sainte Victoire, mais en même temps tout près d'Aix. Très bien équipé, avec de plus cheminée à insert très appréciable en soirée à cette saison. Très bon accueil d'André, propriétaire de ce gîte. Possibilité de faire la traversée de la Sainte Victoire ou de monter à la Croix de Provence en partant du gîte à pied.

Best holiday home!

We spent the best holiday week at this amazing house. Such a nice location, very calm, beautiful garden, big pool to swim. The view as amazing, the house lovely and very nice contact with the landlord. Highly recommended!

Sehr ruhige Lage und toller Pool!

Wir (Familie mit 4 Kindern zwischen 7 und 13) haben zwei wunderbare Frühsommerwochen in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben ist die tolle Lage (sehr ruhig und schön gelegen, sehr nah nach Aix) und der großartige Pool sowie der Außenbereich. Auch innerhalb des Hauses mangelt es an nichts, es ist genug Platz für eine große Familie, auch die zwei Bäder sind sehr angenehm. Wir möchten sehr gern wiederkommen zu unserem nächsten Provence-Urlaub!

Our parents bougth the house where they spent nice retirement years. We refurbished it and we want it for seasonal rent rather than year round because, when we have the possibility, we love spend time here to relax.
