Idyllic location

Accommodation was situated in fantastic spot overlooking the lake and great for walks. 7 adults had enough space in the house. Maybe a little upkeep is due but all in all a lovely location. Communication with owner easy and also smooth check-in. Recommended quiet holiday spot.

Perfect spot

Extraordinary accommodation. Huge property with a great view. The furnishing is convenient. Some of the beds could be more comfortable and especially the small room under the rooftop could be cozier. The kitchen is well equipped but wine glasses are rare. We had an issue with the dish washer but the owner told us that there a new one will be installed. Don’t expect luxury but a comfortable villa with a lot of charm. A place worth visiting again!

Für Liebhaber alter Immobilien und Menschen mit Herz und Seele ein Traum! Unglaublicher Blick aus allen Fenstern und von der Terrasse. Für Badeurlaub weniger geeignet, da See zu Fuß schlecht erreichbar.

Der Urlaub im Castello "La Dianella" wird für immer unvergesslich für mich und meine Familie sein. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen, entspannten und erlebnisreichen Urlaub am Ledrosee und in der Umgebung. Der Kontakt zu Max vor Ort und Lorenzo war jederzeit sehr freundlich und bei kleineren Problemen war schnell eine Lösung gefunden. Wir können das Castello uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Traumhafte Ferienwohnung über dem Ledrosee

Außergewöhnliche Ferienunterkunft in traumhafter Lage. Die stilvolle alte Villa mit Turm liegt direkt über dem Ledrosee. Ideal für zwei Familien. Wir fühlten uns sofort zu Hause. Waren nun auch schon das zweite Mal hier.

Amazing view on lake Ledro from everywhere

La Dianella is an old castle, which is rich in history well documented by the many paintings and photographs on the walls of the study situated in the caslte tower. It has a large garden with perfect view across the Ledro lake, which one also has from every room of the castle. There is an old swing for kids as part of the garden. The house has old wooden floors, so kids better wear socks or shoes to avoid spliters. There is a small shop in walking distance (coop in Mezzolago 65 min by foot) and a larger coop in Pieve. In Pieve, one also finds other shops like a larger bakery, icecream palace, Massimo's atelier and restaurants. We rented the castle in April and had a couple of cold days, so some of the rooms were quite cold, as the study and one of the (6) bedrooms do not have heating except for an electrical stove. The windows are old, single glazed, and worn. I guess the thick walls will be perfect to keep the house cold at hot temperatues in the summer. All other rooms are heated by a central gas heating and the living room is heated by an effective pellet oven that is easy to maintain. So the rest of the house is warm. There is a street separating the castle from lake Ledro, despite the thin windows the street is not loud or annoying as described in other reviews. There is also a bike way (going around lake Ledro) that passes by the gate of the castle - which means that basically every biker at lake Ledro will know the castle and it is easy to get in touch with locals and other bike tourists. This is just great! Besides the small disadvantages (heating, windows) mentioned above, we really enjoyed our holiday in La Dianella. The view is simply amazing. Living in such an old castle feels like an adventure for grown-ups as well as for the kids.

Castle Villa Dianella 😊

The Villa Dianella is a very nice and originally old castle. It has a specific charme and living in it is a bit like living in a museum. So, you need to accept that it is not top modern. But we enjoyed the time very much and we were as well very happy to have an automatic pallet oven in the living room since the house with its thick walls can be cold inside. In summer time it must be very refreshing. The surrounding, the view above the lake Ledro and the mountains are really great. Lorenzo is a very polite landlord and always responded in a very timely manner. We got almost every day some visitors who were passing by the Villa and were so much attracted by it. We would definitely come back.

Gemütliches «Castello»

Wir haben die Woche im Castello genossen – es waren wirlich Ferien. Die Lage ist perfekt über dem Lago die Ledro, der in ca. 2 Stunden zu umrunden ist, mit super Fernsicht über den See und auf die Berge. Sehr gute Wander- und Bikemöglichkeiten. Die Küche hat einen neuen Kochherd mit Backofen. Geschirr ist genügend vorhanden, die Geschirrwaschmaschiene funktioniert einwandfrei. Einkaufen sollte man jedoch eher in Riva del Garda.

Villa mit Charme

Das "Schlösschen" hat einen ganz besonderen Charme und Reiz, wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wir haben das Haus zu sechst angemietet und waren alle begeistert. Die Aussicht und die Lage am Ledrosee ist einfach beeindruckend und unheimlich schön. Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war wunderschön, 5 Min zum Baden im See. Wunderschön auch der Garten mit vielen Bäumen, was bei der Hitze traumhaft war.

Außergewöhnliches, großzügiges Feriendomizil in exponierter Lage mit sehr guter Ausstattung und sensationellem Ausblick auf See und Berge. Einzig die nahegelegene Seeuferstraße stört gelegentlich ein bischen.

Wonderful lodging, very kind host

Villa Dianella is a wonderful place to be. If you expect a five star hotel you'll be probably wrong here but if you love to be in a quaint castle with all comfort this will be your place! Awesome view over the Lake Ledro and only 15 to 20min down to Lake Garda, Riva and Acro. Nice climbing spots around and a pretty good area to ride your bike - road bike and mountain bike. I'd definitly recommend a stay in Villa Dianella!

La Dianella ist SUPER!

Das Feriendomizil "La Dianella" ist sehr empfehlenswert. Das Haus ("Das Schloss") ist zwar alt, aber in gutem Zustand. Bei gutem Wetter hat man einen super Ausblick über den See, man kann alle Mahlzeiten draußen einnehmen. Lediglich das Geschirr lässt für die Anzahl der Leute (wir waren acht Personen) zu wünschen übrig. Die Betreuung duchr die Agentur vor Ort war ebenfalls sehr gut. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

INTERESTING LOCATION

The property is certainly quirky and the view from the terrace down to the lake and over to the mountains is spectacular. Internally everything you need is there, a little tired for a property of this price, but not unexpected. There is a small local grocery store open until noon for morning bread and fresh fruit and salad. All three of the local villages, Mezzolago, Molina and Pieve are within easy walking distance and offer good places to eat. We enjoyed the local hotel restaurant in Mezzolago.
