Great location. Beautiful house

Beautiful old french house. The essential were clean (i.e. kitchen, bathroom s, bedding), it was just a bit dusty, with a few spiders webs. Great location.

Relaxing beautiful gite near Fontainebleau

The house was very spacious and full of character. It had everything we needed for our stay, including a beautiful garden. Close to many crags, and round the corner from a good boulangerie. We also rented the little house, which was very useful extra space with a shower.

Lovely house, great host, perfect home base for bouldering

The house has so much charme, it's lovely - and it still comes with all the conveniences you need in daily life. The kitchen was perfectly equippet, the bedrooms comfortable and there's lots of space to sit together and chat. This place is great when you want your peace and quiet and when you want to go bouldering in the forest of Fontainbleau. Would go again any time! (Super convenient: bakery, small supermarket, post office and a delicious pizzeria just around the corner!)

Very nice garden, perfekt kitchen and dining room with a nice fireplace. Even barbecue was possible in the garden. There was a problem with the dishwasher, but Annick imediately was buying a new one. So the contact also works perfekt. We would come back every time again.

Lovely house close to a beautiful river

This house is an absolute gem! A traditional house which has been beautifully restored and a little house in the courtyard with a bedroom and bathroom. Just be aware that in the main house you have to walk through a double bedroom to get to the twin bedroom which is no problem if you are all family! There is also a lovely garden. We loved walking down to the river which is a couple of minutes away to swim, kayak and paddle board. The boulanerie a minutes walk away is fabulous. It is easy to get into Paris (40 min by train from Fontainebleau-avon) We had a wonderful week here and would love to come back.

A Beautiful House and Location

We loved this property and had a wonderful week here. It's located in Grez-sur-Loing which is a quiet little village with a creative history as it was a favoured location for painters, writers and musicians. There is a 12th Century castle ruin which overlooks the clear waters of the Loing River and its medieval bridge (although it has been reconstructed over the years) and this is a 5 min walk from the property. The house itself is extremely comfortable and offers a very cool interior with a mix of contemporary and antique furniture and fixtures ranging from beautiful wonky old stone walls to a steel spiral staircase. There is plenty of room with comfy sofas, chairs and beds. The kitchen is well equipped with a high glass ceiling and also has a separate utility room. There is an upstairs shower room and ground floor bathroom. There is also an additional space across the courtyard in the shape of a tiny house with a small table and chairs, kettle, shower room and upstairs double bedroom. The courtyard garden is really sweet and completely private and quiet and there is a further lawn area beyond the wall if you need it. We really enjoyed staying here. Things to do - kayaking along the Loing with Apikopa - departs from the bridge, walking in the Fontainbleu Forest, visit the Fontainbleu Chateaux, day trip to Versailles and that's just what we did! Fontainbleu also has loads of restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream stalls and there is a yummy bakery and small grocery shop about 50m from the house. Enjoy!

Das Ferienhaus hatte alles, was man für einen tollen Urlaub braucht - herrliche Räume, ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht, perfekte Lage für kleine und größere Ausflüge. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Une maison très agréable, bien équipée, dans un petit village charmant et une belle région.

Très bon contact avec la propriétaire, accueil charmant sur place. La maison a beaucoup de charme et rien n’y manque. Le jardin clos invite à la lecture dans un transat et aux apéros sous le parasol. Petite suggestion : la disposition des deux chambres en enfilade mériterait d’être précisée dans la description car ne convient peut être pas à toutes les configurations de locataires. Un petit plan de la disposition dans la galerie photo serait un plus.

Sehr komfortable Unterkunft

Ein traumhaft modernisiertes, komfortables Haus, in dem man sich sofort aufgehoben fühlt. Weit, weit mehr als das Notwendige wird bereitgestellt, wartet in der Küche und in den Badezimmern. Der Ort Grez sur Loing selbst hat eine berühmte Geschichte als Künstlerkolonie, dazu ist er perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen der umliegenden Schlösser wie Fontainebleau oder für Wanderungen in dem zauberhaften Wald von Fontainebleau. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und empfehlen die Unterkunft unbedingt weiter.

Entspannter Urlaub

Wir verbrachten zwei entspannte Wochen im Haus von Annick. Die Kommunikation lief super und schnell. Vor Ort hatten wir eine Ansprechpartnerin, die uns in Empfang nahm und für Fragen bereit stand. Das Haus bietet viel Platz und Komfort und besonders der große Tisch im Esszimmer lädt zu geselligen Abenden ein. Die Küche ist groß und gut ausgestattet. Unsere beiden Töchter (19 +16) konnten auf eigene Faust mit den bereitgestellten Fahrrädern zum Fluss oder zu den nahegelegenen Seen in der Umgebung fahren. Die beiden großen Gärten bieten Platz zum Entspannen und unsere Hündin genoss die Zeit in der Sonne. Ein Vorteil ist, dass sowohl der Garten als auch das gesamte Grundstück eingezäunt sind, was die Mitnahme eines Hundes sehr entspannt macht. Insgesamt hatten wir eine schöne Zeit in Grez-sur-Loing und sind froh, in der Corona Zeit einmal aus dem Alltag rausgekommen zu sein.

A very nice place

This is a nice restful location with a lovely garden. I would just like to signal, though that the steep staircase makes it unsuitable for people with young children. Some of the rooms are not that well heated either which means it's not ideal in winter. Otherwise, a really nice place

Lovely house

We loved the house in Grez. The decor was very nice. the house is spacious and the garden is nice. The communication with Annick was very good. The village is small but Nice, the river is Nice in te summer and the bakery is around the corner. We went to Fontainebleau (15 minute drive) and Nemours (15 minute drive). Fontainebleau is a Nice city to shop and eat something. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Very nice house, great for family vacation with dogs.

This village house has everything you expect. It's very clean and has a very nice atmosphere. We had very nice weather and climbed on the boulders in the forrest of Fontainebleau, did horseback riding and swam in the river. Our dogs loved the cool courtyard. Thank you Annick for your warm welcome and great service.

Beautiful home in sweet French village

Our stay at Annick’s place couldn’t have been more perfect. Her home is a tasteful combination of modern and old, with the charms of the old and comforts of the new. Spacious and tastefully decorated. She left a huge vase of fresh flowers on the dining room table, an indication of her generosity and care. She responded to any questions or concerns quickly and without fail. The village is so sweet, with an old medieval tower and bridge over a lake we swam with pleasure. There is a canal with a footpath nearby for running or biking. We took out children there to boulder in the forest and everything, including the town of Fontainbleau is 20-25 minutes drive away. We were very happy and already thinking about going back. Thank you Annick!

Traumhaftes Haus in Grez-sur-Loing

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in dem schönen Haus von Annick. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und auch in der großen und hellen Küche haben wir nichts vermisst. Annick war selbst nicht da, aber die Kontaktperson war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Die Lage ist super, wenn man zum Bouldern herkommt. Der nächste große Supermarkt ist 10 min entfernt und gleich um die Ecke gibt es eine Bäckerei. Wir würden sofort wieder herkommen!

Très jolie maison bien située et bien chauffée

L’inconvénient de la maison : 3 chambres à l’etage, une seule a toilettes et salle bains. De plus deux chambres sont communicantes, il faut traverser l’une pour accéder à l’autre (utilisable seulement pour des parents et petits enfants) . L’accés aux toilettes la nuit est très désagréable, elles se trouvent seulement dans une des chambres, il faut y rentrer et déranger ses occupants qui dorment pour pouvoir y accéder. Pour l’accès éventuel de la troisième chambre individuelle, il faut descendre de nuit par un escalier en colimaçon et traverser toute la maison dont la cuisine pour accéder à une autre sdb et toilettes, pas évident !! Pour le reste tout est parfait, la maison est très joliment décorée, on peut se faire un feu de cheminée, très bien chauffée et rien n’y manque, on s’y sent très bien. Grez sur loing est très charmant, grandes promenades à faire le long du Loing, près de la Forêt de Fontainebleau et de villes et villages touristiques. Très Bien.

We had a wonderful stay on Grez. The house was absolutely beautiful and about a 10 min drive from Fontainebleau which is where we spent everyday watching the horse show. Will definitely book again for next year ! Thank you Annick !

Séjour très agréable dans une maison meublée avec goût, dans un jardin adorable et calme..

Nous avons passé une dizaine de jours dans le calme et la tranquilité. Tout était facile et agréable. Très bon accueil, charmante maison très bien arrangée et d'une grande propreté. Boulangerie, café et petit commerce à proximité, ainsi que de magnifiques promenades le long du Loing
