Cozy an relaxing

We had our summervacation in the house. Spend time in the garden, by the pool and on the river. Recommend to go visit.

Quiet and nice countryside.

Agnes the owner is very nice. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, be sure to check out the Church in a field of sunflowers about 4 miles away. Train to Paris is easy and about an hours ride. You will need a car to get around though in general including to the station.

Beautiful gite and fantastic location

We had a very relaxing stay last week! The setting is perfect- with the adjacent river and lovely pool and location is great - close to shops etc and just over an hour from Disneyland! The gite is spacious and comfortable with everything you need....having games in the gite was brill and the table football was a total hit! Agnes was a most welcoming host. Thank you- we hope to return soon!

Ideal place to escape to

We absolutely loved this country style house ! Agnes was very welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. The house was spacious, well equipped and had access to a swimming pool and tennis court. It overlooks a beautiful river and we also had access to a canoe/kayak to explore with. Our teenage boys also loved this spot. If you are anyway interested in bouldering and hiking, this area is ideal. We had brought our Labrador dog with us and she had lots of space to run around. Agnes also has dogs and they were (understandably) territorial so we did have to make sure our dog didn't roam too far. I would definitely recommend this house and hope to return some day

Property and location great, but you need to be comfortable with large dogs

The location, property and area were fantastic. The owner was friendly and welcoming . We stayed for 2 1/2 weeks, with the aim of living like the locals and it met all our expectations as a family. One consideration you should be aware of, is the owner has two large dogs which roam freely in the grounds including around the property, this also means they poo freely around the patio and car parking area of the rental. We are a dog owner and lover, but still found this annoying and if you or your children are not dog confident you may find the dogs intimidating or frightening. We also took our 2 year old male Labrador with us, he had quite a rough time for the first few days, even though he was submissive to the owners dogs. This wasn’t the case for other visitors with dogs so please keep the comment in context. In summary a great property as long as you are comfortable with large dogs and don’t mind picking up their mess.

Séjour détente et découverte

Emplacement très agréable, calme et confortable sur les rives du Loing dans un beau domaine arboré. En prise avec la nature. La piscine à débordement (chauffée et partagée avec les autres hôtes) permet de finir la journée sur une note L’emplacement du gîte est idéal pour profiter des randonnées en forêt de Fontainebleau, aller visiter le château de Fontainebleau, les villages de Barbizon ou Milly-la-Forêt.

Beautiful property near the sights and climbing in Fontainebleau

An excellent family stay at this property. The outdoor spaces are truly exceptional, such as the infinity pool and the marble terrace overlooking the river. Complete quiet and calm, and so close to many things to do. The cute village is a few hundred meters and has an excellent bakery as well as a grocery store. Agnès, the owner, made us feel right at home and was very easy to work with. The master bedroom was a truly lovely space with a Juliette balcony. Our two boys stayed in the additional bedroom, which also has a sleeping loft. The loft was a little warm at night, but there is a fan, and there is also an air conditioner in the main bedroom. The kitchen was quite small, a galley kitchen, but was very well equipped. I enjoyed all of the types and quality of the glassware! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would love to go back one day.

Agréable week-end

Nous avons passé un agréable week-end au vert et au calme. Les propriétaires sont charmants et disponibles. Le parc est superbe et très bien entretenu. L’interieur de la maison est simple. La mezzanine est au dessus d’une des deux chambres et donc plus adaptée à mon sens pour un couple avec enfants.

Wunderbare Lage, mittelmäßiger Zustand

Dieses Objekt liegt wunderschön, die Lage ist himmlisch ruhig und idyllisch. Das Haus war im großen und ganzen sauber, die Einrichtung ist aber eher einfach. Das Matratzenlager über dem einen Schlafzimmer ist bestenfalls für ältere Kinder geeignet. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig. Die Ausstattung der Küche bestand im wesentlichen aus ausrangierten Küchenutensilien der Eigentümer. Der Empfang durch die Vermeiterin war herzlich und unkompliziert. Für Menschen, die Angst vor Hunden haben, ist das Objekt nicht geeignet, das zwei große Hunde frei auf dem Gelände herum laufen und auch gerne mal beim Abendessen Gesellschaft leisten. Die Nachteile hat man aber schnell vergessen, wenn man abends auf der Terasse sitzt und auf den Fluss schaut. Wir würden wieder hinfahren.

Encore un superbe séjour à Montigny sur loing, malgré le temps un peu pluvieux cette année, nous avons bien profité des ballades en forêt, baignade dans la piscine et le loing, tennis, trampoline, et barbecue.

Wonderful find

What a beautiful place. We had a lovely time, the pool, river and tennis court were much enjoyed by our boys. Our hostess was lovely and helpful. The gite was well equipped and had all we needed. Would stay there again. Close to train station for trips to Paris in 55 minutes. Well stocked Carrefour in village and fab bakery.

Superbe maison au bord du loing

Superbe maison au bord du loing et de la forêt de Fontainebleau dans une magnifique propriété avec un grand parc avec piscine tennis trampoline canoë . Propriétaires très gentils et accueillants. Endroit idyllique dans la nature à seulement 1h de Paris . Baignades rafraîchissantes dans le loing accessible du jardin . Petit village de montigny à 15 min à pied avec supermarché boulangerie gare de train et un bon restaurant.
