Great place

Great apartment with an excellent location. Nathalie was friendly and helpful. It was spacious enough for our family of four, and the washer and dryer was great. We will definitely come back!

Enchanting Stay in Sarlat-La-Canada

We absolutely loved our stay here and were thoroughly charmed by the accommodations. It is decorated beautifully with a decidedly French flair. The owner seemed to have anticipated every want or need. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom upstairs made all the difference. The historic area is literally a stones throw away. We would definitely come back again.

Medieval atmosphere with all the modern comforts

This is a great property for 1-2 people who don’t have issues with stairs! Awesome, well-stocked kitchen, full laundry facilities, great shower and comfortable lounge. Easy access to old village and the market and shops. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Vacation Rental

This property was exactly as described. It was perfectly located just on the edge of medieval Sarlat for easy walking access. It was clean, quiet, safe, and comfortable. The property host, Nathalie, was very friendly, was a great communicator, was very prompt for key pick-up and drop-off, and was very helpful. I would highly recommend this property to friends and family.

Wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay at Nathalie’s! A beautiful home with everything you need, in a great location with easy access (for Sarlat) free parking. Nathalie is a great host and “rescued us” when we had an issue. Thanks again “Wonder Woman”!

The Best of the Best

We've stayed at some very nice places in France but this one tops them all - the Best of the best. Our host met us upon arrival and helped us get settled in, providing instructions on all of the home appliances - of which there are many. The house was immaculately clean upon arrival, all of the appliances worked as advertised. and we were most comfortable throughout our stay of a month and a half. No problems experienced. Located about five minutes walking from the heart of Sarlat. access to the markets, restaurants, and local events could not have been better. A big Thank You to our host for making our vacation in Sarlat a complete success. Can't wait to return again.

Sarlat

Nathalie was great. Very responsive. We booked her paddle board on the Dordogne tour which was great fun. House was very clean. Just a short 5 min. walk to the town center. Having the washing machine and dryer was great. The only caution I have is for those who have trouble with stairs. The bedroom is on the third floor. There is no air-conditioning however the fans at night made is acceptable during the very hot weather. Otherwise very enjoyable.

Beautiful and charming Sarlat house with lots of great amenities!

This is a perfect place to stay if you are visiting Sarlat. It is close to the old town square and easy access to seeing all the sites in the old town or nearby. It has been beautifully renovated by Nathalie and has all the comforts of home for the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. You can open some windows for air in the bedroom and other rooms. The antiques and decorations in the house are beautiful and fit so well with the old town feel while it is in a very historic building of Sarlat. Nathalie was very helpful with some tips for the house at check in and in sharing some of activities close to the town as well which we enjoyed. There are some stairs to climb in the house as it is on three levels but we were fine with that! We also liked being able to do some laundry during our trip as well. If we are able to come back to Sarlat someday, I would love to stay here again!

Hébergement super, très proche du site historique de Sarlat

La position de l'hébergement est bien pratique car toutes les activités sont très proches et un parking gratuit a proximité immédiate est un plus. Très bon accueil de Nathalie que je remercie pour tous ses conseils.

Fantastic location and very comfortable, cosy house

My husband and I stayed for two weeks in this house. It was clean, comfortable, warm and quiet but just around the corner from all shops so convenient and close to a small park where I could take my dog. Natalie was great host, meeting us on arrival and giving us lots of information, couldn’t recommend this accommodation highly enough, would definitely stay here again

Très bon séjour au calme à deux pas du centre de Sarlat

Dans une petite ruelle, une maison sarladaise authentique sur 3 niveaux. Bien équipée et confortable pour 3/4 personnes. Très bien située et au calme à quelques minutes à pied du centre. Propriétaire très à l’écoute. Nous recommandons.

Idéalement situé dans Sarlat

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans le gite de Nathalie. Nous étions content de rentrer au calme après des journées bien remplies pour découvrir la région, le gite est cosy, la décoration a du caractère avec des meubles chinés. Merci.

Nice charming historical building very close to Old Town

Located in a historic building just outside the Old Town perimeter, this three story apartment has been creatively and tastefully retrofitted with modern amenities. We found the winding stairs quite charming, but they might be a challenge for some. The kitchen had everything we needed and the shower was excellent. Our host communicated effectively with us about use of the facilities and the logistics of parking (need to move car to an upper parking lot during the day). This was a great home base for our explorations of the area.

Walk Everywhere

As soon as we worked the logistics out, we set about having a great time. Loved the location, walked everywhere - truly just steps from the center of the old city, Nathalie’s restaurant recommendations were perfect, we always found space in the free parking lot she told us about. She even brought us mushrooms she had picked and frozen - delicious! She responded immediately when we had a WiFi difficulty and got it up and running right then. We really liked the house? And she has equipped it beautifully - everything you could possibly need is there. Go and see for yourself!

Excellent location, delightful space

Situated just outside the old town, Nathalie’s little house is terrific. Its location means that it is only a short walk to a wide range of restaurants, it is also only 5 minutes to the covered market and, of course, the more expansive Saturday market. A fully equipped kitchen is on the ground floor along with the laundry room and main bathroom, with a large living room upstairs and a bedroom with its own 2-piece bathroom on the top floor. Importantly, for those times when one just wants to read, there are 2 very comfortable leather chairs - each with good lighting - in the living room - a relatively rare and much appreciated amenity. Nathalie is an enthusiatic, well-organized and very helpful host who made us feel welcome and ensured that we were well settled in.

Cute house close to historical centre

Sarlat is a wonderful town, and being within a five minute walk of the heart of the town made a visit very enjoyable. The old stone house with three levels is quaint and interesting. Some parts of the old house have quite low ceilings and are a little dark, but overall it is well appointed. Free parking also available close to the house, which is certainly a bonus in a popular tourist town where parking spaces are in short supply. Nathalie was a very gracious and helpful host.
