We had a lovely stay for two nights. The host was very responsive and we were able to arrange a change due to a flight interruption. Delphine was great. The only issue we had was that the shower door was not in the track and thus it didn't work properly. Other than that, the location was great for walking all over the city. It was our first visit to Rouen and we would both come back again.

Lovely and comfortable apartment, very spacious and with all you need to have a enjoyable stay. The kitchen has all the utensils and appliances. There is lots of closet space to unpack. Delphine and her husband responded very quickly when I contacted them. The location is perfect and even though it’s in busy street it’s very quite.

"Charming hyper center duplex" is exact. This maisonette gives onto the interior courtyard of an old building (which is used as a car park). Since the main building is full of medical offices, it's very quiet evenings and weekends. Once you step outside the courtyard, you're on one of the city’s main streets, full of businesses and stores, but it’s not hectic and not as touristy as other areas. You're in the historical center, and off every side street are medieval sites, restaurants, groceries, cafés, bars, etc. The train station is a 10-minute walk away. The house itself is quite comfortable, with a main room on the ground floor that’s a kitchen, living room, and dining area combined, with a bedroom behind. Upstairs are the bathroom, another bedroom, and a very large closet and laundry area with a washer and a dryer. There are windows and skylights throughout. The owners are very accommodating and responsive. Highly, highly recommended!

Very central

A great place to explore Rouen and the surrounding area from. Delphine was very good to communicate with and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of things to do and great places to eat nearby.

Lovely spot in the centre of Rouen

Very charming small house within walking distance of everything in the old city of Rouen. Unlike many short term rentals, the owner prepared the home as though she was going to live there herself: so the kitchen was equipped with everything one could possibly need. There were even electrical plug converters for people coming from overseas. All the little details which make one’s stay more enjoyable.

Perfect in every way

Set in a rear courtyard, completely private and quiet, this two-level apartment has absolutely everything you could need. The hostess met me in person at a time we had agreed previously, and explained how to use all the appliances and access the wifi. Situated right in the heart of the city, all major attractions are within easy walking distance. Just brilliant.

Idéal

Le logement est proche est proche des commerces et des musées : tout se fait à pied. Le duplex est très fonctionnel (équipements modernes) et très calme, et pratique avec des enfants (chambre à l'étage). A notre goût personnel, le canapé est un peu inconfortable et il faudrait un jeu supplémentaire de couverts (à quatre, il n'y en a pas assez pour faire deux repas). Mais cela n'enlève rien à la qualité de cet hébergement dans lequel nous reviendrons certainement !

Gute Wohnung in brillianter Lage

Wenn man noch zentraler wohnen möchte, müsste man den Glöckner aus der Turmstube vertreiben ;-) Die Wohnung hat uns gut gefallen. Auch das in der Nähe befindliche, öffentliche Parkhaus war so gut zu erreichen, das wir die Möglichkeit, den Wagen im Hof zu beladen, nicht genutzt haben. Durch die Innenhoflage für die Innenstadtlage auch sehr ruhigt.

Nous avons utilisé l'appartement comme point central de notre séjour en Normandie. À Rouen, situation idéale pour visiter où tout est à portée. L'appartement était bien équipé et le contact avec la propriétaire excellent. Rouen et la Normandie valent le détour et comme base, tout a été parfait.

A true hidden gem - fantastic!

We were caught up in horrific 12hr+ delays before arrival but communication with the apartment owners was easy and swift - we rearranged checking in without any bother. The apartment is situated right in the centre of town, but is in a quiet courtyard - the location couldn't be better! Everything was very clean and well presented, the kitchen has everything you need (including a raclette and crepe machine). The downstairs bedroom is the double, upstairs being two singles. It is worth noting that the bathroom and utility room are upstairs. The beds were very comfortable and all bedding and towels were provided. The washing machine and tumble dryer are an added bonus. This duplex truly is a hidden gem - I can't find anything to suggest as an improvement! Thank you

Wonderful rental downtown

This clean, cozy apartment situated right downtown offers everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Rouen. The owner is extremely forthcoming and kind, easy to communicate with. The apartment is located on a busy street but set back in a courtyard so very quiet. The cathedral and Gros Horloge are a few steps away. Lots of sightseeing, shopping and restaurants nearby. You have to park in a nearby parking garage but easy to get to. Plenty of space for family of 4, well appointed kitchen. Highly recommend this gem and can’t wait to come back!

Au cœur du Rouen historique

Appartement très bien situé rue Jeanne d'arc, à proximité de toutes les commodités. Parking à la semaine possible au Parking du vieux marché. L'appartement en lui même est très propre, bien équipé, manque quelques ustensiles pour la dégustation des fruits de mer. La luminosité du puits de lumière dans la chambre principale peut être gênante. Un store pour occulter palierai à ce désagrément. Bon séjour, belle ville, belle région. Nous reviendrons à Rouen avec plaisir.

Parfait séjour en plein centre-ville mais à l'abri du bruit et de la chaleur. Le logement, très bien décoré et agencé, est à proximité des lieux touristiques et de toutes les commodités. Hôtes très prévenants.

Central location

This apartment is ideally located for visiting the historic old town and main shopping area of Rouen. The courtyard location provides a quiet setting off the busy street. We enjoyed a comfortable stay, making good use of the well equipped kitchen. Everything is as described online.

Charming Apartment in Heart of Rouen

My husband and I loved this apartment, which served as our home for a month. It was cozy, comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and very functional. The bathroom was up-to-date and roomy. The laundry room is awesome with lots of storage. Also, the Internet connection was excellent. Delphine, the owner, was very helpful and accessible. She met us the first day and explained the apartment to us. She responded to email questions right away. The location couldn't be better. We exited the courtyard right onto the main street in old Rouen with easy access to all the shops and museums. If I return to Rouen, a city that I love, this would be my first choice of apartment.
