Very isolated location at the top of a hill. The animals, howlers monkeys and wild birds, are everywhere and very vocal at times. The owners are very nice and accommodating. You will need a 4x4 to make the best of your trip.

Peaceful Getaway

Beautiful, jungle immersion. Close to attractions, necessities and luxuries. Quiet, teaming with wildlife, well outfit and maintained. Friendly area and wonderful hosts. A place to stay and return to. Recommended.

A month of bliss in Uvita

Amazing location and experience. Set right up in the rain forest, we were able to see mackaws, toucans, a sloth, an agouti, a coati, iguanas, monkeys and about 50 other birds (the merline app helped identify them) - all without even having to leave the apartment! The apartment itself had a lovely ample verandah which was fully covered so that even when it rained (we went in rainy season) we could sit out and read/do yoga/watch nature. The infinity pool was refreshing to dunk off in and had a beautiful outlook. The toucans ate from the tree above whilst we were cooling off. Our hosts were there to answer all our questions about the apartment. You definitely need a 4x4 to access!
