A good location to explore the westcoast around Sintra

This house is located in one of the many little villages that make up de the area around Terrugem. A bit difficult to find. We stayed on the first floor of the house and had an bedroom en suite. From here we explored the area of beautiful Sintra, the coast, the praias, went to Cascais. The area has a lot to offer for travellers. Nature, culture, food, beautiful seashores, little villages and more. As for the B&B: the hosts were very kind and hospitable. Sharing information about the area. What to do, what to see. Very helpful. There are of course some little things that with a little improvement would benefit the experience. Some parts of the breakfast were a bit too average. The fruit was lovely bit too many breakfast items were from a wholesale department like. As for the room: a bit noisy because of barking dogs (from the neighbours) and a refrigerator in the bedroom can make a lot of noise too. So with some little adjustments the stay would be perfect for a traveller.

Sehr empfehlenswert

Wenn man ein Mietwagen hat, ist die Wohnung Ideal. Ein schönes , modernes Haus, ruhige Lage, zwieschen Sintra ( 8 Km) und Ozeanküste. Von der grossen Terasse hat man wunderschöne Aussicht auf Pena Palast sowie auf Mafra-Kloster. Die Gastgeber-ein junges Ehepaar -sind sehr nett,gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie geben gerne Ratschlaege. Die Wohnung ist geschmacksvoll eingerichtet. Das Bett ist sehr bequem, die Badezimmer ist schön. Alles ist vorhanden Das kontinentale Frühstück (im Preis inbegriffen) ist ausreichend. Parken ist leicht und kostenlos, was im Sintra nicht der Fall ist.Bei einem laengeren Aufenthalt kann man von hier gut Obidos, Nazaré, Batalha, Alcobaca, Cabo da Roca, Cascais sogar auch Lissabon leicht und gut besichtigen. Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt.

Très bon accueil, la famille est très attentionnée

Rien à dire sur la propriété. Au calme, à la campagne pas très loin de la mer. Juste ce qu'il faut.... Merci beaucoup

Amabilidad y hospitalidad al máximo! Sientete como en casa

Pasamos unos magnificos dias mi mujer y yo en compañia de esta famila tan encantadora. La habitación esta muy bien, con baño y vestidor, todas las mañanas te dejan un super desayuno, y desde la terraza se ve a lo lejos el palaicio da pena. La amabilidad con la que te tratan te hace sentir como en tu propia casa, incluso nos invitaron a cenar, y pasamos una gran noche. La unica pega es que nos tuviermos que ir antes de lo previsto por un problema familair, pero sin problema nos dijeron que nos guardaban las noches no disfrutadas. Volveremos a veros Yosua y Raquel

Really wonderful people

The house is great. The room is big, clean and nice. The part I liked most is the terrace... just amazing! Sandra and her family are super welcoming and they help you with everything. I really recommend this place. We loved it :)!

Wonderful stay! Great hosts!!! Lovely room!

First, we want to start with the hosts because that was the best part of the stay! They went well beyond all expectations. I have to mention what impressed me the most. On our last night, we wanted to make sure that we did not get lost on our way to the airport the next day, so they drove us out toward the airport to show us the way so that we would not miss our early morning flight plane the next day! That was so special to us. We had a wonderful time with them personally...We stayed for three nights and during that time we feel like we made new, dear friends in Portugal! We had wonderful conversations, and we were so comfortable. They even provided breakfast which we didn't even expect and offered us dinner! They also allowed us to use their refrigerator. They were just fantastic!!! The room was lovely and spacious, and the bathroom was amazing! There was even a walk-in closet! There was an amazing, huge private balcony that we enjoyed having dinner on. I can't believe how expansive it was. There was also a view of one of the castles in Sintra from the balcony which was great to look at in the late evening because they light it in colors. We really enjoyed that balcony!! We can't recommend enough. It was a truly fun, happy yet relaxing stay!!!! Thank you again to our great hosts!! We hope to see you again!!! We will keep in touch!

Absolutely wonderful!!! Best hosts! Lovely room!
