San Casciano Val di Pesa -Casale le Lame is a typical farmhouse recently renovated, immersed in the unspoiled green of the Chianti countryside among vineyards and olive groves. Our location is an excellent starting point for 'chiantigiani' itineraries, such as the visit of typical towns such as Greve in Chianti, Castellina, Radda or the more well-known San Giminiano and Volterra, but also the organization of delicious food and wine tours with enchanting views in the villages of our hills on which we will be happy to help you.
You can also easily reach the most beautiful Tuscan cities such as Florence (15 minutes by car), Siena (30 minutes by car), Lucca (45 minutes by car) and Pisa (60 minutes by car).
In the immediate vicinity you can take advantage of the bus stop (direction Florence / Siena), the store with typical food products, but also sports facilities such as riding stables, balloon tours or lake fishing and wonderful bike tours .
We ourselves live at Casale le Lame where we manage our agricultural activity and we will be available to make your stay unforgettable
The views are unique and always remember that every season in Chianti has a special charm: there are the bright colors of spring, the succession of festivals and popular festivals in the summer, the harvest in autumn with its traditions and its perfumes and finally the oil frant.

In our structure there are 4 apartments: Syrah (4/8 people), Canaiolo (4/6 people), Colorino (2 / 4persone) and Ciliegiolo (2/5 people)

CANAIOLO APARTMENT, 85 sqm (1/6 people):

- 1 Large open plan kitchen and living room with fireplace (fully equipped kitchen) and double / 2 single sofa bed
- 2 double bedrooms (1 with bathroom) with a splendid view of vineyards and olive groves;
- 2 bathrooms with shower
- a private terrace with outdoor furniture

Wonderful Country Home in Tuscany

We spent several days with thommaso and Chiara in March 2013 and loved every minute of it! They are wonderful hosts, the apartment was beautiful, spacious and immaculate. They were the perfect hosts and if we are ever lucky enough to return to Italy, their home would be our very first choice!

Casale Le Lame - An incredible place

Casale Le Lame, located at San Casciano in Val di Pesa, Tuscany, Italy is a home away from home... The property stands in the middle of a farm and a vast vineyard with a lush olive grove in the background. Upon reaching the place, one can't help but stare in awe at the view! Tommaso and Chiara are the perfect hosts! They made us feel comfortable right from the moment we arrived and helped us learn the ropes around the place. The apartment is completely furnished, very spacious and very well maintained. We loved our 4-day stay in Tuscany and it is one of the most unforgettable places we've ever been to. We will definitely come back and hopefully stay longer than the first time!

Great location for a good time in Tuscany

Excellent hosts, Chiara and Francesco were very responsive to make sure we had a good stay and experience in the area. They even helped to choose bike rental and wine tasting. I would recommend this place to friends. We had a great time!

Everything we dreamed of about a Tuscan farm house

Staying at Casale le Lame is the best decision during our Italian trip. The farm itself is on a sunny hillside layered with grapevines and olive trees, and scattered with beautiful Mediterranean cypress trees. Our host Chiara is warm while respecting our privacy. Her story about the history of the farm and the area is simply fascinating (ask how the farm got its name "le lame"). The location enables us to take easy road trips to surrounding towns like Siena, Pienza, Pisa, Vinci, La Spezia, Bologna, and of course Firenze. I'm sure we'll go back again in the future!

Super séjour

Nous avons passé une semaine dans l’appartement Canaiolo lequel était parfait pour nous. Il est très agréable et bien conçu. La situation du logement était idéale pour nous à 30 minutes de Florence et 40 de Sienne. Il permet de rayonner facilement dans le Chianti. Le jardin est magnifique les piscines agréables et les lapins qui courent librement dans le domaine ravissants. Merci pour tout à Chiara et Tommaso!

Relaxing in beautiful Tuscan retreat

It was a privilege to stay and meet Chiara and Tommaso. Their home is a beautiful retreat in the Tuscan mountains, easy 25 min drive to Florence, but we couldn’t wait to get back enjoy the pool and honesty bar. Lots of lovely touches everywhere. Amazing stay

We had a great stay and really enjoyed Chiara's lovely welcome. The property is huge and has an amazing view on the surroundings. The appartment itslef had everything we needed, and Chiara provided us with a cot and a high chair to make us confortable with our son. The shared facilities are great, our son particularly enjoyed the playground !

What a peaceful place with wonderful hosts.

We arrived on top of the hill of this apartment on the grounds of our wonderful hosts. Everything was spotless, well appointed and for us weary workers and travelers so very peaceful. Although the drive from the main road was very steep, it provided a most beautiful view. The location was perfect for us to visit the hill towns of Tuscany that we missed on our first Tuscany trip. This is a working vineyard and farm and the prosecco was delicious. Our hosts were more than kind and very responsive.

Un séjour mémorable

Merci Chiara et Tomaso pour votre accueil, votre gentillesse et vos attentions délicates. Nous avons pu profiter et apprécier le logement (pour 2 adultes et 3 enfants) et son environnement, les repas en terrasse ou sous la tonnelle à côté de la piscine . Au milieu des vignes nous avons goûté à la tranquilité toscane. Enfin, le logement est idéalement situé pour visiter Firenze, Siena ou San Gimignano.

Traumhaft schön gelegen und zuvorkommende Gastgebe

Liebe Chiara und Tomaso Wir haben den Urlaub bei Euch sehr genossen. Das Appartment war mit zwei Schlaf- und Badezimmern gross genug für uns (zwei Paare + ein Kind) und sehr sauber. Alles war da, was wir benötigten. Vor allem möchten wir Euch für den grosszügigen und unkomplizierten Service danken. Immer frisches Gemüse und Eier aus dem Garten, am Pool ein Kühlschrank zur Selbstbedienung etc etc. Auch die Lage ist wunderschön in den Weinreben auf dem Berg. Es lohnt sich also die Brötchen am Morgen zu Fuss zu holen ;-) Herzliche Grüsse Familie Marchionno

Mooie plek om te verblijven

Goed ingericht huis ,op een berg gelegen in de Toscaanse heuvels.Hele leuke eigenaren die zeer behulpzaam zijn met het geven van tips om de omgeving te verkennen indien je dit van plan bent. Voor ons zeker een plek om terug te komen. Nice house in the Tuscan Valley. Owners are very nice people and realy helpfull whit answer the questions you have. For shure a place to return.

A great place

On approaching the jouse- we realised what a wonderful place it is. The surrounfing is gereen and calming. The house is very big, very very clean, very comfortable and extremely beautiful. The rooms are big, the beds very comfort and the kitchen well eqipped. The owners are friendly and kind and helped us with everything. The village is very nice and welcoming, with a lot of restaurants and a great view. We will surely be very glad to visit there again!

Super place

It was so nice to be in a beautiful country place and so close to Florence. The views from the terrace were stunning, the sunsets were tremendous. And they have a so friendly dog Arok that every time you see it you can't stop smiling.

Beautiful views, calm atmosphere, friendly owners!

Wow, where to start?! My parents, aunt, and grandmother stayed in one of the apartments for about 10 days in September. They were there for my wedding in San Casciano and it made a great base - very close to San Casciano if they wanted to be in a charming town, but out in the stunning, quiet countryside! My aunt remarked that it was so strange to sleep in such quiet - she loved it! The apartment was very clean, spacious, and had everything they needed for their stay. They enjoyed cooking their own dinners, walking in the vineyards and relaxing with a book at the pool. Chiara and Tommaso were extremely friendly and helpful and went to great lengths on two occasions when my grandmother fell ill and needed to go to the hospital. They helped with translation and even drove with my family to the hospital and stayed there and helped - so unnecessary but so greatly appreciated! When my family arrived back at the apartment, tired and overwhelmed, Chiara made sure the apartment was spotless and waiting for them. She continually checked in with my family when my grandmother was at the hospital (and even after she was out and had returned home). They helped us find a nurse who could help take care of my grandma. Anything we asked, they were willing to help us with. Amazing. Back to the property - you can tell they've put so much care into making it a special place. They have a garden and chickens - it's such an authentic experience. If you're looking for a comfortable home in Tuscany - this is the place for you! GRAZIE MILLE Chiara e Tommaso - I will happily recommend Casale Le Lame to friends and family coming to Tuscany!

Beautiful,clean and comfortable, wonderful hosts

Chiara and Tommaso were wonderful hosts who were very generous, warm and inviting. The eggs for breakfast were delicious! The property was very clean, comfortable and pretty. We loved being on top of the hill watching the hot air balloons glide by in the morning or sitting outside sipping a glass of wine. We thought the homemade wine was fantastic - we have even brought a bottle back to Australia with us. Toscana is molto bella! and we hope to return there one day soon. When we do we shall most definitely return to stay at Casale le Lame.
