Sleeps up to 8 guests in 3 bedrooms with 2.5 baths. This two story condo is located in a completely gated and secure building. Features two family rooms allowing everyone to have their own space. On the first level the family room has a pullout queen sofa sleeper, 32" flat screen with DVD and digital cable service. First bedroom on the entry level is furnished with two twin beds. Second bedroom also on the entry level is furnished with a queen bed. The Great Room is on the second floor and is a complete retreat to relax or entertain your family and friends. A wonderful gathering space featuring a large sectional sofa facing the ocean, gas fireplace, and 50" flat screen with DVD player and digital cable service. Gourmet kitchen fully stocked and equipped with everything the home chef will need. Primary suite has a king bed as well as a large, private, and luxurious spa bathroom with soaking tub and walk-in shower.

2 reserved parking spaces in secured parking garage.

Great place, accurate description, easy to check in. Perfect spot for a quiet beach getaway (lots of wine glasses!!!) Really enjoyed our stay and the area.

Great location close to beach

Family reunion weekend. This was a great location for kids and adults. The house had lots of games and kids books which was wonderful. Easy walk to the beach and shops and easy drive to Cal Poly where we went to several events.

Wonderful Stay

Incredibly clean, and a very well stocked (pots pans etc) kitchen in a perfect location (steps from the waterfront and beach). We loved it. The Master bed and bathroom were fantastic. We had a wonderful time there.

Wonderful spot - 1/2 block from beach. Enjoyed our stay with family. The grandchildren loved the beach no playgrounds. Condo is well equipped and clean.

Excellent Location, has a great Weekend

We loved our stay, the condo is very pretty. excellent location just a bit noisy being next to an Alley where the restaurant garbage bins are picked up early in the morning. But worth it!!

Thanksgiving getaway

Great location everything is within walking distance the beach, wine tasting, restaurants, shopping etc. The house was perfect size for my family, common area’s to hang out together and enough room to spread out when needed. It was very clean, easy check in and out. The communication from the rental agent was very responsive.

Another Amazing Stay at Avila Beach

This is our second time staying at 55 San Miguel and it was a very positive experience. You can’t beat the location. Steps from the beach, shops, restaurants. Unit was clean upon arrival and had all the amenities we needed. Was able to do laundry and use a fully equipped kitchen which is key for a family of 6. Hope to stay again next summer!

Spacious

Very nice condo. I love to cook and really appreciated the wide assortment of dishes, utensils etc. living room was awesome with the ocean view and little deck for taking in the cool breeze.

The best of all the courtyard properties

We stayed here for my husband's 50th birthday. We had friends in three of the other units. We have also stayed in two of the other units at one time or another. So, out of the nine units we have now seen or stayed in six of them. I can say, without a doubt, while ALL of the properties are nice, this one in particular is our favorite. The upstairs is so light and open. The balcony and main room has a view with the ocean. It was fun to sit out on the balcony and people watch, too. Location was perfect, amenities nice, and just a fabulous overall rental. We will be back!

Beautifully Decorated Condo, Great Location

This townhouse is beautifully decorated and perfectly clean. We really enjoyed how close it is the beach--you don't even have to cross a street to get to the beach. Some of the furniture and art has been changed since the photos were taken--it's actually nicer than it looks in this listing! Since it is so close to everything, there is a bit of street noise, especially in the mornings. Also, sadly the drain in the giant master bathtub wouldn't plug, so it was not usable. This was a great place to stay, and we really enjoyed our time there--would rent this space again!

Disappointed -communication poor - unit needs maintenance

We arrived and we could not park because of the gate code. When we finally got the garage opener, the outside courtyard was covered with painters & drop cloths. Paint fumes- drop clothes, ladders etcs for the first two days. Upstairs smelled like BBQ smoke because of the smoker below the windows. Wi- Fi did not work so we had no TV- Music or computer access. Fireplace did not work. Upstairs toilet (kitchen) did not flush- Ice maker was broken. Doors to patio would not lock and the carpets were dirty. Property manager did not handle any of grievances. Said to "go out and buy a bag of ice" and they would reimburse us. Very disappointed with Coastal Vacation Rentals.

Large sunny condo in a great location

We've stayed at this property before and really enjoyed our stay. The property is large and a great place for gathering. It's also in a great location right in the middle of Avila Beach. There are a few things that were broken in the condo. The master bathroom has this huge jet tub but the faucet didn't work so there was no hot water coming out and the drain is broken so the tub wouldn't hold water. The wifi wasn't plugged in when we got there and we found the router and plugged it in but the password and port name were different from what was noted in the check in package so it took a while to figure out how to connect to the wifi. Also one of the garage remotes didn't work either. But, other than that the property was great and we really enjoyed our stay. We'll definitely be back.

Great location in the heart of Avila Beach

We rented this property last minute for my daughter's first birthday part so her grandparents could be there. The original property we rented was evacuated due to fires and we found this property a week before the party. It was a great find, it is literally in the heart of Avila Beach right next to the Custom House. That being said it is not a quiet getaway type of property. From the Master Bedroom you can hear the wine tasting going on right below the condo and the other two bedrooms sit above the alleyway to the Custom House where deliveries and trash pick up are made. However, you are steps from the beach and the main ocean front walk which is a plus. The condo is very big with a downstairs den and two bedrooms. The upstairs has a big family room and large dinning area. The Master Bedroom has a jacuzzi style tub and big walk in closet. Check in was a bit haphazard since we had to wait until 3PM on the dot to receive the code. Additionally, there was only one garage door opener when we arrived and it was broken but we were in contact with the rental agency and they helped us get a new opener. All-in-all it was the perfect stay for our little family birthday party.

It did not have air conditioning and the windows are broken to open and let cold night air in for the master bedroom. Downstairs bedrooms are a bit cooler. Most places I have stayed have simple things in the kitchen like an extra roll of paper towels or Saran Wrap or foil. This had none and the kitchen cupboards could use to be cleaned. Overall I recommend this place. Book directly through costal vacations for the best price.
