One of the most beautiful views you will ever see. Property was clean, beautifully maintained and secure. All communication with host was easy and responsive through booking and truly went above and beyond while we were at the property - you can tell she is passionate about guest experience and making the experience special. Overall a fantastic stay at a beautiful property.

Our host was wonderful with communication, but the apartment desperately needs to be updated with new dishes, towels, etc. The shower is terrible. I also wish we would have known more about the transportation situation in Amalfi, you have to fight for your life to get on a bus to go anywhere, and taxi drivers overcharge you so badly. Amalfi was beautiful, but I wish I would’ve known how stressful it is to get around.

Comfortable stay and beautiful town

The home is very comfortable and spacious with a beautiful view of the sunrise and water. Great location close to cafes and restaurants. Hostess was friendly and quick in her responses with great recommendations. Highly recommend!

This property is it an excellent location, In not so crowded part of Amalfi. The property inside was clean and had all the amenities. The outdoor area needed some care.

Gorgeous

Beautiful little town with Nino’s outstanding restaurant nearby for every meal! Smaller cafes that served fantastic coffee and pastries. Accommodations were clean with character and the view was breathtaking. My daughter and I loved our visit.

Wonderful

The view is fantastic! Walking distance to everything’s by you need. There is a bus stop right across the street to take you into Amalfi. The same stop has a local bus to take you around Conca dei Marini. Beware if you take the local bus to the beach. It’s almost 300 steps down to get there but so worth it! I would stay again!

Beautiful, local experience.

Wonderful experience. This is the proper way to have a vacation on the Amalfi Coast, no touristy bs, straight up local experience. You’re situated 5 feet away from the nearest bus stop making it extremely accessible to anywhere along the coast. Highly Recommend.

Loved our stay here! Property manager was super helpful with recommendations for local activities and restaurants, and even helped us with some travel plans and arranged a boat tour for us with a local. The location (Conca dei Marini) is about a 15 minute bus/taxi ride from the town of Amalfi. So it takes a while to travel to the nearest town over, but there are also great restaurants and a few nice shops in town if you are willing to walk up and down MANY stairs. It was a great stay :)

Overall the apartment was as is described. 15 mins from Amalfi, bus route and great view. We were disappointed with the bed as it was terrible to sleep on. We decided to check out 2 days early because of the bed.

A Slice of Heaven

After 3 weeks of hard touring of Italy this location was to be our relax and recovery mode before flying home. The apartment was fantastic, the view of the sea unparalleled. It was perfect and we ate, slept, drank wine, had coffee at a local cafe, ate dinner at the local pizza place which had wonderful food. There actually was a lot we could have done. Amalfi, which we did for a day, Positano, Minori, all nearby. Property Manager even provide some transportation and a list of wonderful things she could set up, such as a cooking class, taking to a farmers market to collect the food, private chef if we wanted or rent a boat, a Vespa and so many things. It would have been fabulous and we thank her for being so helpful. But we lounged around, watched the sea from our apartment which also had a canopy of lemon trees which gave us shade, and was stunning. We walked all the way down to the beach for lunch and many stairs and back up and enjoyed it all. We will be back.

Beautiful home and view

The house was perfect. The view is spectacular! The owner stocked it with fruit, pastries and even baked us a cake! The only challenge is getting the bus as it only runs every 2 hours in morning and evening. Also you have to change buses in Amalfi to get to other areas. Our last day the bus was full when we were trying to get back so had to get a cab. They are extremely expensive for just a very short ride.

Such a peaceful place

We loved our stay at this apartment and in Conca dei Marini. The apartment was exactly as pictured and was so close to the bus stop, which such a huge perk to this rental. Also, not very many steps to the front door, which was nice at the end of a long day. We were traveling as a family of 4 adults (2 adults and 2 college kids-they were able to share the sofa bed) and we had plenty of space. Marica was also amazing! She was available for anything we needed, including booking transportation or excursions; she even checked in on us a few days into our trip. This apartment and the town was very peaceful. We spent nearly every evening on the beautiful patio soaking up the breathtaking views! We also loved Bar Santa Rosa, which was on the street below. They had friendly staff and beautiful views for a quick sandwich, dessert, and/or drinks. If we ever find ourselves on the Amalfi coast again, I would rent this place again! Thanks Marica for a beautiful stay!!

Perfect Spot to Serve as a Basecamp for Exploring the Amalfi Coast

We enjoyed our stay at this great house in Conca dei Marini. It took us a couple of days to fully appreciate the house and the perfect location we were in. The check in was a little bumpy but Marica was a great help smoothing the way for our stay. Written tips and suggestions as well as a thoughtful presentation prepared us for our stay. Our hosts also provided us with some delicious welcome pastries from a local patisserie. We enjoyed many breakfasts, glasses of wine, and dinners on the deck .... soaking in the views. The house was adequately equipped but with a little effort could be made perfect. A great plus for the location was the fact that it was only a short walk to a grocery store, a great coffee and snack spot (Santa Rosa bar), and terrific restaurants ("Da Nino's Pizza" and "La Bonta del Capo"). All with terrific views to savor while enjoying your meals. The house is also quite close to the bus stops which make it convenient for getting around without a car. The final benefit of our location was the relaxed atmosphere of Conca dei Marini.... a relatively quiet and peaceful retreat after mixing with the hectic crowds in Amalfi and Capri.

Easy Squeezy Lemon Peezy

What a wonderful home located with a breathtakingly gorgeous view. The check in process was slightly difficult difficult lemon difficult because Amalfi roads and traffic require dedication, patience and should be initially driven on in the daylight. Once in the house, my wife and I felt right at home. This was our longest stay during our honeymoon and oh boy, was it perfect. Marica was a perfect host and offered herself to us whenever we needed any advice or just a friendly recommendation. A cooking class of ours was cancelled and she jumped at the opportunity to suggest a local friend and his professional cook of a mother to teach us the Italian ways. Now that we have toured Italy, I can promise you that we will be back here. The lemon groves outside and the sunrises were just beautiful. The best I’ve ever seen. I’m kicking myself that we didn’t stay here another few days. Capri is close by but hyper crowded. We hung out for the day in Amalfi and had a great time. It was closer than Capri, less crowded and just a better time and value. Conca dei Marini and Marica will always be associated with my perfect honeymoon. Thank you again. We will be back, I promise that.

Amazing Relaxing Stay!!

We loved everything about our stay here in Conca Dei Marini. We decided to visit the Amalfi Coast for our honeymoon, and are so glad that we found this place to spend a full week. It was such a great decision for us to stay in peaceful and relaxing Conca, over one of the more busy, tourist-y towns along the coast. The stairs are no joke, but it's totally worth it to check out the great local shops and spectacular views that you can only get to by walking around. Marica was beyond helpful and a wonderful host, she showed us the ropes on day 1 and gave us so many great suggestions of what to do and where to go! What ever we wanted to do (kyaking, boat tour, hiking, day trips, food suggestions and many many more) she knew someone that was so friendly and could set it up for us! Our perfect day was, waking up, taking a short stroll over to Bar Santa Rosa for coffee and Sfogliatella, then relaxing on the cozy and absolutely stunning public beach right in Conca, enjoying the sun and beautiful views before a nice meal at one of the beachside restaurants (especially La Tonnarella, featuring some iconic dishes), and then completing our day of course with a wonderful meal at da Nino with their great seafood, iconic views and incredibly friendly staff! We would strongly suggest booking with Marica, and staying as long as you can! We give our stay here a 10 out of 10, so amazing, would definitely come back, it helped to make our honeymoon a spectacular trip that we'll never forget!

Our stay

This property is in a beautiful town with nice restaurants and cafes and is only a short bus ride to Amalfi. The property is just off the main road through the town and it’s right next to the bus stop. We originally were booked to stay 4 nights but checked out after 2 nights. Check-in was not smooth as the property had not been cleaned. The host said the regular housekeeper was sick. Someone came to do a surface level wipe down of the bathroom but we had to clean the kitchen/living space. Unfortunately, the bed was uncomfortable and very squeaky. The host brought us a mattress topper for the 2nd night but it only helped minimally with comfort. The street noise kept us awake at night so we could not sleep much. Honking started around 630am from the bus and noise from scooters/cars. The host was very friendly and did agree to provide us a refund for the 2 nights we had booked but did not stay, which was really appreciated. I hope the host will provide a new bed to maximize guest comfort. There is not much that can be done about street noise but not a good place to stay if traffic noise keeps you awake.

Overall Good Stay

Overall this was a nice place! Me, my mom and two friends stayed for almost a week here and we enjoyed ourselves. I will say that we had some issues when we first arrived. The shower ran cold so we had to have that fixed and we found some creepy crawlers that had probably gotten in from the window so that was unfortunate. Other than that, the house was nice. Great view! It’s nothing fancy but it was good for us!
