Great house

This house was the perfect fit for our group! We had 5 adults and 2 teens. The teens loved the upstairs loft area with 3 beds and their own bathroom. Only about 15ish minutes from downtown. We definitely recommend this house! It had a cute cottage/lodge feel and we loved the downstairs bar area with pool table!

Beautiful home

Lovely cabin with attention to detail in the decor, really enjoyed having a pool table and kayaks and a close dock. Owner was very responsive and very helpful. Only thing I would warn about is if you have infants, or toddlers who are not good with stairs yet, that might be an issue at this house. Otherwise this is a fantastic vacation stay!

Thanksgiving family weekend

Property was WONDERFUL. We had 12 family members including a 9 year old and 5 kids that were 13 to 21. The house was very comfortable for them as well as their parents and grandparents. We all loved the unique and interesting furnishings. The separate sleeping areas were great with young adults on third floor, adults on middle floor and grandparents on lower floor. Lower level was COLD and concrete floors were extremely cold But pool table saw a lot of action and we had lots of room for us all to play games. The house was perfect for our bunch, with the only negative being there was not much space for us to put our stuff like clothes in the bedrooms and snacks and food outside the fridge in the kitchen. Although the extra empty fridge was great.

Paradise

What a true blessing this home is and the host was amazing! We had ages ranging from 4 months to 75. We stayed the weekend and no one wanted to leave. The first night eveyone was talking about the next trip. The cabin was very clean and fully stocked. The beds were so comfortable. The gameroom was an absolute perfect fit for our group. The dock was a short walk from the cabin and we enjoyed having the kayaks and canoe to use. We enjoyed sitting out on the many areas on the covered porches and just listening to the sounds of nature. This cabin could be on a magazine cover. Truly breath taking and such a wonderful place to spend time. We didnt need to have extra things to do, this home was eveything we needed and more. If you get a chance to visit you will definitely not be disappointed.

The cabin was great and the property manager was always very responsive throughout the process. The location was very secluded which is exactly what we were looking forward. However, it was still close enough to Eureka Springs to make several trips there. We enjoyed how spacious it was and that we had a large kitchen and den but private and separate bedrooms. The owners clearly invested in high end accommodations and lived the lake and cabin theme. We highly recommend this cabin and was listed at a great price for what you get.

We got there and the heat was not working. She answered quickly and resolved the issue and refunded a portion for the trouble. House was just what we were looking for, secluded with beautiful views and close enough to town to go eat/shop. Would stay here again!

Perfect Wedding Weekend

I was thoroughly impressed with this home! It was just 15-20 min from the Thorncrown Chapel, where we got married. The home is very well maintained with a stocked kitchen that had everything we needed. The beds and baths were spacious and clean and comfortable. The area is very peaceful. The owner was easy to contact and had everything arranged perfectly. The only downside was that it seemed like the outdoor trash cans hadn’t been emptied prior to our arrival and they got quite stinky in the heat of the day. Otherwise, it was perfect. I would definitely stay at this home again the next time we travel down to beaver lake! Thanks Vickie!

Great Cabin

The cabin is beautiful, very remote, and well stocked with the essentials, all of which we were looking for in a rental. We enjoyed our stay, and rarely left the cabin because the pool table, puzzle and board games kept us entained. Cabin had beautiful scenery and great deck furniture to relax on. The king size beds were some of the most comfortable. The only down side was the cabin has only one AC/heat unit. So if you had a fire going in the fireplace on the main floor, the heater did not kick on and left the game room/ master bedroom in the basement too cold. Other than that it was fantastic. I’d def stay there again.

Beautiful selection for our annual “Christmas Cabin”

We meet our kids and their families for Christmas in Eureka Springs every other year. We finally outgrew our regular cabin and tried the Elk Lodge this year. It was absolutely perfect! We appreciated the multiple King and Queen beds and how well-stocked the kitchen was. Plenty of spaces to be together and also plenty of spots to find some space when needed ;) Vickie was very responsive and accommodating. We’ll be back!

Beautiful home!

This lakefront house is fabulous! Two huge decks with outdoor furniture for every need, large family room on lower floor with big screen tv and pool table. Completely equipped for every cooking need. We loved the canoe and kayak outings (Life jackets for the littles and adults). Beautiful and very quiet. We were able to really spread out and enjoy our stay. The view from the decks included the lake and was surrounded by trees. The online pics don’t really show how pretty the house is. The owner was very accessible and friendly.

50th Anniversary celebration w/ Family

We had a group of 10, ages 8-73 celebrating my parents 50th Anniversary. We had a wonderful time...some even said it was "the best vacation ever!" The house was as described. We didn't experience any problems at all. We enjoyed the lake & kayaks/canoe. We hiked the nearby Leatherwood Lake & rented a pontoon at Starky Marina as well. I had read in another review a recommendation to get groceries in advance. So glad we did. The roads are slow & curvy so it takes a while to go a short distance. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. Thank you for a great stay!

Location!!! A place close to the water without sacrificing views! This is the spot! Elk Lodge has the easiest and closest access to Beaver Lake of all the properties in our addition. The view is great from both decks and inside the cabin. The cabin design is both functional and beautiful. There is room for everyone to spread out or come together. Nature and wildlife are abundant, it's common to see deer right outside the cabin, eagle soaring overhead, and fish jumping from the water. The decks are huge and offer a great place to grill, sit and relax, lay out, eat and play. Most of the deck is covered so you can enjoy the outdoors even when it's raining.

Eureka Springs is a short 15 minute drive and offers tons of recreational activities. You can shop, eat, enjoy shows, music, go to the zoo, the wild cat refuge, tour the winery, take a train ride and eat dinner, enjoy a park, or just experience all the history in the Victorian homes and buildings. Starkey's Marina is just a couple miles down the road. There you can rent a boat, get some supplies, and have a bite to eat on their dock. The Scuba Shop is just a few miles away if you want to take lessons! The lake is so clear it is popular with divers. Leatherwood lake is a great place to hike or mountain bike and is just a few miles away. Beaver Lake Dam and White River are close by, where you can rent a canoe and trout fish on White River. Beaver Dam Store offers fishing permits for sale as well as fuel and snacks. Take the canoe out for a spin, swim or fish off the private dock. Bring your boat or jet skis, or rent one from Starkey's Marina. Or you can just relax on the huge decks in the comfortable seating areas and enjoy the fabulous views. Inside you can watch a movie on the 70' big screen, get the family involved in a board game on the large game table or serve up some drinks at the bar while playing a game of pool in the newly added lower level that opens onto the large lower deck.
