Hidden Gem.

My stay at Johns was great. One of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed at. Very quiet property. If you need to get away and find peace and quiet, this is the place. Close to Trader Joe’s and a great little diner called Nationals. Great food. The weather was chili and cloudy so I didn’t venture out to the beach, which just is just up the road. I would recommend this spot for sure!

Peaceful and private property

Lovely little apartment. Clean, well decorated. Would definitely come back. Already planning next stay.

Very nice property

This is a very nice place in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The bedroom is huge and there is a nice kitchenette and a remodeled bathroom. The electric fireplace is a nice touch. The only things that weren’t excellent was the bed was a little hard and gave me a sore back, and the shower Water pressure is low and I couldn’t figure out how to make it come out of the top part instead of the handheld part. But the owner communicated well and the access was easy so I would highly recommend.

Everything we needed in a smaller version

Was great John allowed us to move in a few hours before the assigned time. Was a good location with easy access to Trader Joes, Starbucks. There were several hygiene products if you came without something. Very clean. Would have been nice to have some washcloths and hand towels. There was plenty of towels. Parking is available and we were warned about parking on correct side of street for street cleaners and thought we did but still got a $33 parking ticket. Overall, very happy with it.

Great and quiet location for a week's stay!

This is a very comfortable, clean and cozy stay for a single or couple. Apartment is connected to owners house but totally private with deck, kitchen and shower/bath. Fridge was full of water and fruit upon arrival which was really nice after a long trip! Linens, towels, rooms very clean and every comfort of home available. (Including space heaters for chilly nights!). Parking is free, (read street cleaning signs and curb your tires on hills or $28 fine!), and restaurants, shops, grocery, beach all walking distance. Zoo is 3 minute drive. Owner offered use of transit cards but we drove into San Fran and found parking no problem. (Late July) Quick access to SF airport and coastline too.

Great place to stay!

Place was as described and owner was very responsive to questions. Our stay was made more enjoyable with small details provided by owner, like - fresh fruit, coffee (instant and ground), tea, creamers, hot chocolate, Clipper cards, umbrellas (fortunately not needed), maps and a printer. Another big plus is that we were able to use the patio. The only down side is that the bathroom is very small and dated. They did provide enough towels to change daily and quality body wash, shampoo and conditioner. I would recommend this VRBO to a single or a couple, not families.

Close to the city and comfortable

Everything at Johns place was exactly as we expected. Very comfortable, convenient kitchen area, parking not a problem- and that's saying something in San Francisco! We will definitely use it again!
