Cute, quiet community. Cozy, clean, comfortable rental with everything needed for an excellent getaway. Scott and Leah are terrific hosts. The king size bed is heavenly. I didn't want to leave!

Clean, quiet, central location

We first stayed at Waters Edge back in 2015. We enjoyed our stay then and decided to come back in 2024. Our room was just perfect for 2. It is located in a quiet area that is close to attractions we enjoyed, like the Boothbay Harbor, the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. We highly recommend Waters Edge.

Charming and Serene

This is the second time we have stayed in this cozy studio. The bed is super comfy and really appreciated the kitchen, air conditioning and quiet with a beautiful view of the bay. We plan to stay for a 3rd time, next summer!

Lovely spot with a View

This was a perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying lovely water views with peace and quiet. Loved being able to launch my kayak from the property and paddle the calm waters of Linekin Bay. The accommodations were spotless and comfortable. Quick access to the village of Boothbay Harbor made it an ideal location. Hope to be back again soon.

This property is great!! Location works, right on the water. Interior nicely done. Very clean. Small issue with the smoke detector and it was taken care of immediately. Could not have been more satisfied with the accommodations. Will definitely go back when I visit Maine again.

Our happy place

This is our 3rd year at this property. Its calm, clean, and quiet and the region is beautiful. Leah is extremely helpful if you have any questions or problems. We got engaged there this year and are planning our wedding for next year in the area. Hopefully we'll be back for years to come!

The area was very quite and other owners/quests were very friendly. The view is amazing and sitting on the deck reading a book rain or shine was delightful and very relaxing. The room was nicely done with a comfortable bed. Boothbay and area has so much to offer. Our sail on the Eastwind was so wonderful and I would highly recommend. Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy Mainsail!

Relaxing

Beautiful area. Beautiful views. Perfect room to relax. Loved having the kitchen there too make breakfast and snacks. The only negative I have is that the small window ac doesn’t cool the room much and has some black mold in it. Should be replaced. Besides that it was a great long weekend away.

Quiet, close to the water

Condo was perfect, and very CLEAN about 350 feet from water, one can swin at low tide or dive off the dock. Kitchen was newly redone, linens are provided, I would suggest to bring extra dish towels if planning to stay a few days. Nice comfy king size bed. Bathroom shower with no problem with pressure or hot water. Short drive to grocery stores with quite a choice of wine.a binder with colorful brochures was most helpful.

Quiet Property in East Boothbay Harbor Maine

The listing and features of the property are spot on. Very clean and inviting accommodations. The Host is easy to reach. Beautiful sunsets over the bay from the property. Note, the television can only access “streaming”. If you have a iPad or Tablet, ring it to watch TV. Much easier to access through your home provider such as Comcast through the internet. Internet connection is strong and consistent. Highly recommend this property!

Boothbay vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the VRBO property last week (Sept 11 through Sept 17, 2022). However, there are a few items that we feel could have made our experience better or possibly prevent an issue for a future stay. We were initially surprised to find 2 sets of stairs to get up to the rental. We were not expecting stairs as that detail was not outlined in the property description (at least what we saw) There is a mobility concern we need to consider when we travel. This did not prevent us from enjoying our stay, but it could have a major impact for some travelers. When we arrived on Sunday, September 11, neither the TV nor the wireless internet worked. We considered calling, but we decided to wait until Monday. When we tried on Monday, both the TV and the wireless Internet worked as we expected. Although the TV worked, there were no instructions for it. It was very cumbersome to operate the TV! We eventually figured out some steps. We are not technically illiterate! However, some other people may not have had the basic knowledge or the patience to stick with it. That can be improved! Some other pretty basic additions would have made a difference. A fly swatter would have helped eliminate a pesky fly we had in the unit all week. We went to Hanaford and to Walgreens multiple times to buy one, but to no avail. If we had found one, we were going to leave it the property. We could also have used a pair of scissors during the week. The coffee maker splashed coffee grounds throughout the inside of the machine and leaked coffee all over on the counter. We did not use the coffee maker again. We bought coffee and left it in case the next resident had better luck. Overall, we had a very nice stay! We enjoyed that area as we have for many years!

I have been in love with Maine since I first saw a photograph in my fifth grade geography book! The history and landscape are beautiful. Once we met the people of this region we knew we had to live here. We had been looking at real estate resources for many months. One morning my husband said 'honey, I think I found something in Boothbay but I don't know if you will like it' One look at the beautiful sunsets and gorgeous water view and I said ' Let's call and book a flight!' As we drove from Portland to Boothbay we were more and more enthralled with the region and the beauty and the food as we stopped to eat the lobster rolls!! We were certain that it couldn't get any better. As we drove through Wiscassete (The Prettiest Village in Maine) we were touched by the quaintness of this village and the beautiful Sheepscott River, once we entered Boothbay and drove past the General Store there was no stopping!! We made it down Ocean Point road and turned onto the road into Waters Edge just at Sunset!! Wow! What a sight! We were home!! Now, we always make certain we get there in time to purchase our groceries and wine at the grocery store on the way in to be able to get back home in time for the first sunset of our stay. We never get tired of the music, dancing, wonderful food, outdoor activities, and site seeing. We have made many friends in our short time in this area. We have explored the nearby towns of Bath, Brunswick, Wiscassete, Edgecomb, Damariscotta, Camden, Hollowell, and Castine but always are so happy to return to this very quiet and serene place on the water. Ahhh Heaven!!
