Perfect and peaceful spot!

Our accomodations were literally brand new and meticulously clean! The grounds were very well kept, and afforded an unobstructed view and access to Linekin Bay. The hosts were very helpful and made our stay a wonderful one! Can't wait to return!

Foggy mornings

We had a lovely stay.Great location and quiet surroundings. It was the perfect size for us and it was cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the fog lift and listening to the birds in the morning. We spent some time on the dock and enjoyed going down to the beach during low tide.

Fantastic Stay

We had the best time! The small condo/room was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed. We met both owners when we got there and visited with Scott several times the following few days. Scott gave us info on places to see and things to do. The view from the room was outstanding. We could either look at the water from the outside seating area, or walk down to the dock and get a close up of the boats. If it wasn't so far away, we would be back next month!!!! Thank you so much for creating a home away from home!

Perfect place to relax

Our room was great! Really clean and had everything that we needed. The closet organizer held all of our clothes for our weeks stay so we could "move in" and put our suitcases back in the car. It felt like home for the week. It was great to have the kitchenette for when we didn't want to out to eat. The location was perfect for us. Very quiet but super close to Boothbay Harbor, the grocery store and down to the point. The grounds were beautifully maintained and we enjoyed sitting by the water reading or just enjoying the view. The owners answered all of our questions right away and were easy to communicate with. We look forward to returning again to this special place.

3rd Long Stay at Sloop

This was my third Maine two week stay-cation while hubby hiked with buddies out-of-state. Sloop is perfect for one for this length of time. I love the simple nautical theme in color and decor. View of Linekin Bay while relaxing or dining indoors or out can’t be beat, private dressing room with storage, super adequate galley kitchen, friendly small guest/owner community with lovely waterfront amenities. Host Leah and Scott are wonderful and know how to do things right! Can’t say enough…oh yes, location is convenient to everything….harbour shops, galleries, restaurants, gardens, golf, LOBSTER, boat excursions…yadda, yadda…..my HAPPY PLACE!

Peaceful stay!

We travel yearly to the Boothbay Region and found this listing when many others were booked for our dates. We had kayaked past here many times and the location was perfect for us to access many of our activities. The entire property is very well kept, we were only disappointed that the dock was out of service but was being worked on as we ended our stay. The unit was compact and met our needs, I would only suggest better quality towels.

You can hear the quiet

This property is situated on the water and bounded by wooded lots on each side. It is a very quiet place. And, dark. You can see the stars, even the tiny ones you may have forgotten about. It's comfortable inside, tiny in an efficient way. You won't want to leave!

Perfect Getaway for Two

We spent our 25th anniversary here and were not disappointed in our choice. The efficiency condo was beautifully updated, super clean, and had everything we needed. After reading in reviews that the mattress topper on the bed was very soft, I asked the owner if it could be removed before we arrived, and she was happy to accommodate us. We found the bed without the memory foam topper to be comfortable. This condo is in a great location to quiet relaxation. The neighborhood is very peaceful and the water views and yard were lovely. It's only about a 10 minute drive into downtown Boothbay for shopping and restaurants. We loved our stay here and would be happy to return!

Cozy Cottage

This is a really comfortable, well priced short term rental. We own several ourselves, and we know this business is harder than most imagine. The unit is well kept and very clean. Bring a bottle of wine and sit outside for a sunset. There's plenty of seating for everyone. The views are fantastic. Privacy is respected. Overall, this is a great rental. Whatever you think you will need, from toilet paper to coffee filters, bring it. Do not ever ask for toilet paper. You won't get any, but you will get an unwanted lecture about the proper use of toilet paper and and is effect on septic tanks.

I have been in love with Maine since I first saw a photograph in my fifth grade geography book! The history and landscape are beautiful. Once we met the people of this region we knew we had to live here. We had been looking at real estate resources for many months. One morning my husband said 'honey, I think I found something in Boothbay but I don't know if you will like it' One look at the beautiful sunsets and gorgeous water view and I said ' Let's call and book a flight!' As we drove from Portland to Boothbay we were more and more enthralled with the region and the beauty and the food as we stopped to eat the lobster rolls!! We were certain that it couldn't get any better. As we drove through Wiscassete (The Prettiest Village in Maine) we were touched by the quaintness of this village and the beautiful Sheepscott River, once we entered Boothbay and drove past the General Store there was no stopping!! We made it down Ocean Point road and turned onto the road into Waters Edge just at Sunset!! Wow! What a sight! We were home!! Now, we always make certain we get there in time to purchase our groceries and wine at the grocery store on the way in to be able to get back home in time for the first sunset of our stay. We never get tired of the music, dancing, wonderful food, outdoor activities, and site seeing. We have made many friends in our short time in this area. We have explored the nearby towns of Bath, Brunswick, Wiscassete, Edgecomb, Damariscotta, Camden, Hollowell, and Castine but always are so happy to return to this very quiet and serene place on the water. Ahhh Heaven!!
