Bright Oasis in Venice

This apartment looks even better than in the pictures . The unit is very bright and functional. The kitchen while smaller had everything for a longer term stay(we stayed for nine days) and we loved the fact that it was open to the living dining area. The bath and bedrooms had plenty of shelf and storage space. While we did not stay much outdoors on the three terraces as we visited in February we enjoyed the view of the many potted plants through the many windows. Two the terraces overlook a canal. The flat is off an active local campo has several good restaurants, a bakery, and galateria. Also, an upscale hotel just opened nearby just perfect for before dinner drinks. A vaporetto and allalaguna (airport) stop was close by, but flat is centrally located to walk pretty much everywhere. We will return!

Wonderful Apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The star of the show was the 3 terraces. In the morning we had coffee on the smaller patio overlooking the canal. We spent our afternoons on the larger middle terrace as it has an umbrella to stay in the shade and we spent our evenings on the roof top terrace looking out over Venice or staring at the stars. The bed was comfortable and there are 2 AC units, one in the main area and the other in the bedroom. The shower was comfortable and had great water pressure and lots of hot water. The location of the apartment is great. It is an easy 6-10 min walk from the train station in a quiet neighbourhood. Great starting point to explore Venice. The only small issue was that the plants on the middle large terrace need some TLC. All in all we would definitely stay here again next time we are in Venice.

Three Terraces Was Perfect

This was our second trip to Venice and we loved our stay. It is as advertised and the location could not have better — easy to get to, short walk to the vaporetta, but also a residential neighborhood away from the crowds. Good restaurants, grocery store, Majer coffee and bread shop — all within feet of the apartment. Highly recommend

Gute Lage, Lebensmittelladen und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Vaporetto Station mit Flughafen-Anbindung nahe. Sauberes und gepflegtes Interieur. Als langjähriger Venedig-Gänger: sehr zu empfehlen! Danke für den professionellen Service.

We Loved This Apartment!

What a great find! The neighborhood was wonderful. A nice area with local children playing , a church, convenient shops and a supermarket. Quiet and off the tourist trail but close enough to everything. The apartment was wonderful. We of course loved the most our three terraces. We had dinner on the patio, cocktails on the roof and morning and evening sat outside our bedroom to look at the moon or just gaze at the canal. The apartment itself was clean, bright, organized and comfortable. We enjoyed hearing the bells of a local church tower and the Italian opera played by our neighbor across the canal. All added to the charm. Though not really emphasized in the description, there is a single Murphy type bed in the little sitting room that would be fine for another person especially a child or teenager. Can't say enough good things about our stay!

Lovely apartment /Great location

My husband and I stayed at Three Terraces for a week in early October. We were delighted with the apartment overall! It is absolutely charming! It is well supplied, everything works, the bed is very comfortable, and the location is ideal! Everything that we needed for our stay was within easy walking distance, several very good restaurants and the grocery store are just a few short steps away. The check-in process with Sophie was great. She met us and walked us to the apartment after guiding our water taxi driver to the drop-off point. My husband and I have some mobility issues and were concerned about the steep stairs up to the third floor especially with heavy suitcases. The day to day trips up/down the stairs was otherwise physically ok and the location made the worth the effort! and We had exceptionally good weather and made good use of the outdoor space. The terraces are lovely. The walk to the Vaporetto stop at St. Stae was a fun daily walk through the neighborhood. This was a perfect spot to come home to after spending days exploring Venice!

Fabulous home away from home!

This lovely apartment was the highlight of our trip to Venice. The property is charming and immaculate, an inviting mix of new and old. The hosts clearly have put a lot of time into making sure every detail is just right. We spent hours and hours on the many terraces, including one conveniently located right next to the kitchen. Another terrace directly overlooks a canal, and we got a thrill each morning from seeing the boats float by. The check-in process is a dream - our host met us right at our vaporetto and explained every little detail of the apartment. He even drew us a small map of places to visit tailored to our interests. We couldn't imagine a more wonderful place to stay in Venice. Highly recommend!

Easy to get to from the train station stunning penthouse atartment

Upon arrival at the train station we had just 1 quick ferry ride and met our guide at the arrived upon station. It was about an 8 minute walk from the ferry stAtion but is was flat and just 1 small 3 step bridge over a small canal on the way. I think it was a good part of Venice to stay. You can walk or boat everywhere once arrived. There are 3 flights up to the apartment to carry your luggage, I did it one at a time. You won’t be disappointed when you get inside to this beautiful penthouse apartment. 3 terraces? Kitchen, living room, small second bedroom, large master bedroom, lots of storage and well equipped. From the main terrace there is a nice view of a medium sized canal. I would highly recommend staying here for your time in Venice !!! We had a blast 👍👍

Perfekt beliggenhed.

Vi valgte denne lejlighed, da den skulle udfylde forskellige behov og det gjorde den til fulde. Vi ville have mulighed for at kunne nyde solen, samtidig med at vi ville kunne trække os fra den største turist strøm, og opleve det mere stille Venedig. Og sidst men ikke mindst, en lejlighed med god atmosfære. Vi blev vel modtaget ved vandbussen, hvilket var super godt, når det er første gang i Venedigs små gader. Vi blive vist til lejligheden og der blev sørget for, at vi blev vel installeret med alle vedkommende informationer. En rigtig god oplevelse og selvom vi nåede at se meget, vender vi helt sikkert tilbage ;0)

Wonderful Stay

We stayed here on a ten day visit to Venice. It was a wonderful location, outside the crowded tourist area of San Marco, but a quick walk away. Located on a quiet canal, and just off a wonderful square with restaurants and a grocery store. It had everything we needed. I would only offer this advice, if the appliances are not working, they are turned off. There are switches (like light switches) that turn them on and off. We went overnight not realizing the refrigerator wasn’t working before figuring this out. A note should be included in the residence book about this. Other than that, it was wonderful.

Casa authentica

Man hat ganz schnell das Gefühl als wäre man Venezianer unter Venezianern. In der Nachbarschaft wohnen viele Einheimische, ein kleiner Supermarkt und eine Bäckerei sind um die Ecke. Die Wohnung ist nicht luxuriös, aber sehr schön und völlig ausreichend ausgestattet. Das i- Tüpfelchen sind natürlich die Terrassen.

Lovely apartment in ideal location.

Stayed for 2 weeks in Sep17 for our 25th anniversary and had wonderful time. The apartment is well equipped but the kitchen area may be a little cramped for anyone who wish to prepare regular meals, but for most this will not be a major issue. Also the spiral staircase to the upper terrace is very tight so not ideal for the elderly or children, but apart from these details the apartment is perfect. The location is ideal with a lively square on the doorstep which is very well used by local families and has good restaurants, coffee/bakery shop and supermarket, but the apartment is very peaceful day and night. San Stae vapperetto stop is only a few mins walk away and the Rialto market 10 mins if you want the best vegetables, fish etc in Venice. First time we have stayed in Santa Croce area but will definitely be back and this apartment will be at top of list, for us if it wasn't for the 2 minor issues mentioned this would be 5 stars. The staff throughout our stay were very helpful when required.

Up on the roof

On the 10th April I became a resident of Venice staying in the beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished rooftop Three Terraces Apartment. For five days and nights I was able to experience life in this wonderful city. In the square below, I bought fresh fruit and vegetables from the greengrocers, warm croissants and bread from the bakers and my favourite flavour of ice-cream from the gelateria - lavender! I cooked my meals in the fully equipped kitchen whilst listening to the theme tune to the Godfather on the Bose system (yes the CD is really there) and ate in the lovely large terrace overlooking the canal with wisteria plants dripping from above. We had beautiful weather and a difficult choice of just which terrace to sit on. In the night I would open the bedroom to view the pink moon and the stars and the reflection of the lights in the canal below. At dawn I loved to climb the spiral staircase to the top terrace beside the birds and listen to them start the day with a song. At 8am the bell in the tower chimed telling me it was last chance to get the bins out - recycling is daily and you need to keep on top of it. Whilst there I had to do an afternoon's work and was impressed by the internet connection and also had a great space on the large table in the sitting room. I even did a washing and pegged it out on the washing line above the canal. I loved this apartment and after a long day exploring the city I looked forward to getting back to it. For me this was the perfect place to stay and for five days and nights it was all mine. I will definitely return.

Very good apartment in a nice area of Venice (Santa Croce).

The apartment measures up well against others that we have stayed in on many previous visits to Venice. We liked the square - campo san Giacomo dell'orio - and the fact that it is an area where there are mostly Italians and not many tourists. The only downside was that we had to be responsible for disposing of our rubbish/recycling under the new Venice system - this meant taking it to san Stae before 0830 or waiting in until 1200. As holidaymakers we did not appreciate either of these options and would like to suggest that the villa owners/agents should do this for the clients.

Everything you need on the doorstep

Well presented apartment in a fairly quiet location but with everything you need on your doorstep. The apartment was very comfortable and well stocked. Comfortable bed, full size cooker, lovely outdoor terrace. There is a few restaurants, bakery, greengrocer and shop on the doorstep. Enjoyed takeaway pizza from nearby pizza restaurant on a couple of occasions. We had a fantastic stay here.
