この家はこの5年間で完全に改装されました。全体的には、400m2の居住可能な美しい敷地を備えています。特にAGAのクッションを備えた非常にきれいな厨房があり、食事は10名まで、リビングルームのダイニングルームのビリヤードは80m2アーチ型の部屋（旧ワインメーカーのセラー）に大きな暖炉があります。
2〜3世代の家族や友人との休暇に最適です。
スタジオは2人で、独立していてとても静かです（ベッドルーム、キッチン、バスルーム）。

Séjour entre amis

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans cette maison très spacieuse et fonctionnelle. Les six adultes et trois adolescents que nous étions ont toujours pu trouver leur espace dans le vaste jardin ou dans les salles de la maison pour toutes sortes de loisirs (au passage, la collection de BD est incroyable !). La région est belle et la chaîne des puys rapidement accessible en voiture. S'il fallait ajouter un ou deux bémols, ce serait l'absence d'une douche supplémentaire au deuxième étage (où ne se trouve qu'une baignoire peu pratique) qui permettrait de limiter l'attente dans les deux autres douches de la maison lorsqu'on est nombreux et également l'absence de balade à pied autour de la maison nécessitant l'utilisation de la voiture pour trouver des zones vraiment pédestres. J'ajouterai que l'accueil de M. De Matharel a été agréable, ce dont nous le remercions, et nous ne pouvons donc que conseiller cette location.

Environnement de la location peu avenant. Grande maison mal entretenue mobilier de jardin vétuste pelouse ou pré qui ne connaît pas la tondeuse (herbe de 30 cm) cuisinière ancestrale qui chauffe jour et nuit ( sympathique quand il fait 35 degré). Lieu qui n’a pas les standards dû prix.

Absolutely wonderful

We spent about 2 weeks in this wonderful house. The house is very thought through and has a perfectly equipped kitchen with modern equipment.The house is very quit, has good internet access, a wonderful billiard and everything is in good and cozy state. The outdoor barbecue works fine. One sits comfortably on the veranda with a beautiful view to the pool and the surroundings. So if you are looking for peace, privacy and beautiful nature surroundings this is the place to go. You are all for yourself there. Bedrooms and bathrooms are equally nice furnished, the whole villa is very tastefully decorated. The description to get there is perfect also. We can absolutely recommend this beautiful place. We will certainly come back one day to enjoy once more this lovely place.

Lieu idéal pour se ressourcer en famille !

Excellent séjour : chacun a trouvé sa place (même notre ado au dernier étage). Maison vraiment très bien équipée intérieur et extérieur. Dans un 1er temps, désarçonnés par la cuisinière puis complètement conquis… pour finir, qualité d’accueil de notre hôtesse.

Lieu idéal pour des vacances confortables au calme

Accueil au top à notre arrivée et disponibilité exemplaire de Brigitte, tout au long du séjour. Maison agréable et bien équipée. Superbe espace extérieur. La piscine est sympa et les équipements (parasol, transat, barbecue) à la hauteur. Les literies sont de bonne qualité, les pièces à vivre de bon volume. Nous avons passé 15 jours très agréables. Habitués de ce type de location, nous recommandons sans problème celle-ci.

A delightful place

We had a wonderful time in the mansion. We stayed for a week in the summer with two families with 6 children's. The house had plenty of rooms to accommodate all of us. The pool was a delight and very clean, the friendly caretaker Laurent also cleaned it mid week, very early in the morning, as not to disturb us. We had lovely meals on the big patio in the garden, and cooking on the Aga stove is a treat. The owner Mr. de Matharel, speaks very good english, and went out of his way to let us know that if we had any questions or problems, we could call him or his wife. All in all we had a wonderfull holiday in the mansion. Merci beaucoup

Superbe maison

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette magnifique demeure. Placée au coeur du Puy de Dôme, les prestations proposées ont été à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous avons déjà prévu d'y revenir l'année prochaine

You should stay here!

A large, comfortable house, full of character. Communication was excellent, our greeting and check-in process were first class (very entertaining in fact!). Without a doubt the most interesting property I have ever stayed in. Our party was 3 families of 4 people, there was plenty of room for all of us. The pool (and some great weather) really improved our summer stay. I imagine this is also a great place to stay in the winter - the Aga in the kitchen would certainly keep you warm! Thanks to the owners and local representative M. Marlet for a wonderful stay.

Excellent séjour en petit groupe

Cette belle demeure a été parfaite pour les vacances de nos deux familles. Maison bien équipée, larges espaces tant intérieurs qu'extérieurs. Les nombreuses activités mises à disposition dans la maison permettent un séjour tout à fait agréable. Les environs regorgent également d'opportunités pour celles et ceux qui aiment les balades dans la nature ou les visites culturels.

great vacation family house in the Auvergne, France

Beautiful house in a very quiet surrounding near Clermont Ferrand (30 km). Lots of space in and around the house. There is a lot to do : hiking, visiting nice villages, monuments, good restaurants, swimming, billiard, .... Very nice welcoming by Laurent , who showed us around on our arrival day. Nice swimming pool that we used a lot since it was very hot (35°) during our stay. The only negative point in our view was the Aga cooker that makes it very hot in the kitchen during the summer. Consequently, when you open the door and window to let in the fresh air, the flies also enter .... Maybe it would be a good idea to put insect screens ???? We can warmly recommend this house. We were 3 couples.

Gîte magnifique dans une région qui ne l'est pas moins!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil qui nous a été réservé et le gîte par lui même qui est idéal pour se détendre et oublier un peu la vie parisienne. La région est vraiment très belle et nous ne saurions donc que conseiller ce gîte et cette région !

Très agréable séjour en Auvergne

La maison est très grande et tout à fait conforme à l’annonce, très bien équipée. La personne qui nous a accueillis a été très à l’écoute et nous a rapidement répondu lorsque nous avions des questions. Cet endroit est parfait pour passer des vacances entre amis ou en famille.

Très belle location

Très belle location très confortable et parfaitement équipée. Nous avons apprécié la décoration ,l'accueil,la cuisine très bien équipée, la mise à disposition de livres et jeux , dans une région magnifique au patrimoine culturel important . Il ne manquait qu'un peu de neige....

Très agréable séjour en famille et entre amis dans cette demeure familiale très bien equipée. Nous avons tous oublié le travail, le téléphone, internet...pour des parties de rigolade interminables autours du billard et du babyfoot. Pauses apéro ou lecture devant l'immense cheminée, ballades dans la campagne environnante sous un beau soleil d'hiver , il ne nous manquait qu'un peu de neige pour que tout soit parfait... Nous reviendrons avec plaisir si l'opportunité se présente....

Très bonne location

Venus à 2 familles (10 personnes), nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette belle propriété, bien équipée principalement du point de vue de la literie et de la bibliothèque (très belle collection de BD). La location est également très bien située avec de belles promenades à faire aux alentours.

Super maison pour se retrouver entre amis

Nous étions plusieurs couples avec des enfants en bas âge et nous avons fortement apprécié notre séjour dans la maison. Le jardin permet eux enfants de jouer en toute liberté et sécurité. La piscine est très agréable et très bien sécurisée. La maison est très grande, permettant à la fois de passer des moments tous ensemble et à la fois permettant de rester au calme si souhaité avec plusieurs salles de vie disponible. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Il y a un billard, un baby foot et une table de pingpong... Il y a plusieurs toilettes. Pour faire simple, maison très pratique et agréable pour passer de bons moments entre amis, avec ou sans enfant... Le propriétaire et son salarié se sont très bien occupés de notre location.

Super séjour

Ravis ! Notre séjour était très agréable pour toute notre famille - les jeunes étaient ravis de toutes les activités - piscine sur place, billard pour les soirées, tennis et vélo le reste du temps dans un très bel environnement. La région est belle et mérite bien un séjour d'une semaine au moins. Beaucoup de place dans la maison et le jardin pour tout le monde - une très belle maison décorée avec goût et des équipements qui rendent le séjour confortable. Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps ! Nous recommandons vivement à nos familles et amis.

Large house with swimming pool in good location

We arranged the stay at this lovely house to celebrate the 70th birthday of a member of the family. Three families were joining together for this special occasion, included were 4 children. Upon our arrival, at approximately 3pm, we were met with a very dirty kitchen and a house that had not been cleaned since the last occupants. We had to scrub the fridge which had food particles stuck to the side and shelves (it obviously hadn't been cleaned for a long time). The kitchen floor needed to be swept, cupboards wiped down as they were very greasy.The kitchen bin was overflowing and fly papers attached to the ceiling were filled with flies - we had to purchase new fly papers and attach them ourselves. One of our party contacted the local contact re the cleaning and was advised that they had to go to work elsewhere so had not had the time to clean our house. When the partner of the local contact arrived to discuss the upkeep of the swimming pool he advised that the house was 'not his problem but his wife's area'. This interaction and dirty welcome to the house spoilt the first hours of our holiday as we were cleaning and scrubbing rather than being pleased to see eachother and begin celebrations. Towels and bedding were left on a central table so after cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms we had to make our beds. The bedding although clean was all of the same colour but of differing sizes, as were the beds. It transpired that there were not enough sheets to cover all of the beds! The house is very well stocked with books (French) and kitchen utensils, dishes etc. The oven is an Aga which although new to us, there was a very easy to read manual and cook book by Mary Berry in English. Upon our return we contacted the owner by email to arrange return of our cleaning deposit cheque, this email went unanswered. We then contacted by phone leaving messages regarding our complaint FOUR times! On the 4th occasion we managed to gain contact and speak to the owner who reluctantly tried to sort the situation out. On the plus side the surrounding countryside is beautiful and we had many great adventures at lakes and on walks. Our whole experience with this house overshadowed our week with our family. The interaction with the owner afterwards left a bad taste in our mouths. The actual property was lovely but ruined by the dirt and grime of our welcome!
