Beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Furnished to a very high standard with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Recycling and composting facilities available. The host was so friendly and helpful and it so lovely to meet Ivy the dog too. We would definitely love to visit again and hope to stay longer. We will definitely recommend Curlews to friends and family alike.

Wir hatten tolle 2 Wochen. Die Unterkunft ist zwar sehr ländlich gelegen aber mit Auto ist man in 15 Minuten in Romsey, wo große Supermärkte sind. In 30-40 Minuten Fahrzeit erreicht man schöne Städt, wie z.B. Salisbury und Winchester oder auch die Küste und den New Forest mit schönen Wanderwegen. Nach London kommt man ab Winchester sehr unkompliziert mit dem Zug (ca 60 min Fahrzeit). Der Pool ist zwar nicht mehr ganz neu (ein paar kleine Fliesen gehen ab) aber sauber und unsere Söhne und wir Eltern haben den Pool sehr genossen und auch die große Wiese und den Trampolin gerne genutzt. Der Check-in war sehr unkompliziert, der Schlüssel liegt im kleinen Tresor am Eingang. Die Gastgeberin, Helen, ist sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und nett und hat uns am ersten Tag mit frischen Eiern von den eigenen Hühnern versorgt. Außer Hühnern gibt es noch Katzen und eine nette Hündin, die einen schon mal besuchen. Unser Hund hat sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt und das große Grundstück und die schöne Umgebung mit vielen Wanderwegen genossen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet inklusive großer Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, sodass wir gut kochen konnten. Verschiedene Restaurants/Pubs sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt, danke Helen!

Lovely cottage

Very warm and friendly welcome by owner and pets, clean and nice-smelling cottage. Perfect for a family holiday or for a couple. Lovely surroundings. Would love to come again for another visit.

Spotless & well equipped property with swimming pool

This property was spotless and well equipped. It is a bit ‘off the beaten track’, but in a lovely location and within walking distance of an excellent village shop. There is another property adjoining this one. The provision of a swimming pool enhanced this property greatly. Although we only met the host, Helen, twice she was most pleasant and helpful. Would certainly recommend this accommodation if one is looking for peace and solitude and yet it is only about 5 miles from Romsey.

Little owls cottage

Beautifully well maintained cottage with all the right must haves in each area. We loved the swimming pool and the large area to roam around in. Perfect for long walks and dog owners. Helen and her family were so kind to us , we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend a week to relaxing in this cottage

Perfect cottage. Amazing stay

We had the most amazing week in the most perfect cottage. Helen was a fabulous host and everything had been thought of to deliver a wonderful stay in the New Forest. The location was just beautiful. I highly recommend the walk noted in the visitor pack. Stunning views across the valley. The cottage was very clean and very well presented. We had amazing weather so the pool, trampoline and outdoor facilities were ideal. 5 stars all round!

Family break with dog.

Helen (and Inca) were very welcoming and a great source of information. Nothing was too much trouble, even a bit of dog sitting was offered! Cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped, a great base for exploring the New Forest.

A great place to stay. It's clean and tidy with plenty of parking. A great place to take a break

We had a great break at little owls. It's clean and tidy. It has a great swimming pool and patio area which you could just spend all day on if you choose. There is plenty of parking outside your door. Little Owls is well equipped with everything you need.You are also close to a number of attractions in the area which are great for days out.

Sehr schön.

Had a wonderful week, lovely cottage.

We were made very welcome, by Helen & Inca. The cottage was just perfect. Quiet, peaceful & the pool was a huge bonus. Our little dog 'Eddie, enjoyed his stay & having the freedom to roam around. The little additions such as the flowers & fresh eggs were much appreciated. It really was like home from home & we would love to visit again. Thank you Helen for making it so enjoyable.

Schönes Cottage in ruhiger Lage

Wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder 9/13) haben hier eine schöne Woche verbracht. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet und sauber, hier kann man sich gut erholen. Die Lage ist ideal, wenn man das ruhige englische Landleben erleben möchte. Der Pool ist sehr schön und wurde von uns viel genutzt. Die Vermieter Helen und Tim sind sehr freundlich und standen immer für alle Fragen zur Verfügung. Wir haben von hier aus verschiedene Ausflüge nach Stonehenge, Bath, Salisbury und Southampton gemacht. Wir würden immer wieder in dieses Haus kommen wenn wir in dieser Gegend Urlaub machen.

Lovely quiet rural location spotlessly clean.

Slightly small for 4 adults but the cottage had everything we needed. We were so sorry to have to cut short our break by a day due to ill health.

We had a fantastic time at Little Owls! Wonderful appartment, very well equipped kitchen, perfect for a family of four or two couples. We appreciated to swim in the heated pool next to the appartment. Trampoline, footballs, water toys - everything was already there. Starting with frech eggs from the farm's hens, we spent marvelous sunny days at Curlews Farm. Many thanks to Helen and Tim who are perfect hosts. Jutta & Martin

Great Location for local attractions in Hampshire area.

We had a very pleasant stay in Little Owls which was well equipped for our short half term break. Tim and Helen were very welcoming and on hand if you needed them. Nice comfortable beds. The accommodation is at the end of a farm driveway so is quiet and relaxing.

The cottage was really well equipped and very comfortable.

We had a great time and our only regret was not staying longer. The cottage is set in beautiful surroundings and the pool was a real bonus. Loads of things to do nearby - a perfect location for getting out and about. Would definitely come back and take some more time!
