A charming chalet

A comfortable old chalet, well positioned for the ski bus. Good communication with the owner, and easy check-in and -out. Well equipped, space to sit and relax.

January ski visit

A traditional chalet with modern comforts. Pleasantly warm in a cold January. Beds comfortable. Perfect for 4 people but might feel cramped with a larger number. Jean Francois and Justine were very responsive and excellent hosts.

Family skiing holiday

Perfect location, short walk to village abd bettex - although free shuttle bus right outside the door if you wish . Room sizes are amazing and lovely and big and very clean . Jean Paul was brill and was always available and super helpful. - highly recommended thank you so much xx

The Best Holiday House

My entire family stayed there for the week to celebrate Christmas together, go skiing, and enjoy the local food and wine. The house was exceptional and extremely comfortable even for our large family. The house itself is well equipped with everything you need- dishes, cookware, extra blankets, etc. The host was so welcoming and even gave us a Christmas tree. The location was the most convenient, we could walk to the restaurants and grocery, and take the ski bus for skiing. We could not believe our luck in finding this place, and my relatives are already discussing if we can go back next year. I can’t recommend the place highly enough. We had the absolute best time.

Skiurlaub über Silvester

Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise stimmt hier alles. Die Bilder lassen die Unterkunft generell etwas größer erscheinen als sie tatsächlich ist. Mit Platzmangel hatten wir dennoch nicht zu kämpfen. Mit neun Erwachsenen plus Hund wurde es zwar beim Essen in der Küche etwas kuschelig, aber so weit, so gut. Der Gastgeber ist sehr um einen für alle Beteiligten angenehmen und sauberen Ablauf bemüht. Die Djulle ist eine super Unterkunft mit uriger (nicht alt) Einrichtung. Die Bäder sowie die Küche sind modern eingerichtet. Die Lage im Ort Saint Gervais ist eine glatte 10. Mit der Skibushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür, fußläufig erreichbaren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und guter Parkmöglichkeit direkt am Haus. Auch das Skigebiet ist zu empfehlen. Wir hatten eine Woche super Wetter, lediglich Schnee hätte es ein wenig mehr haben können. Das Panorama auf den Mont Blanc, das es von vielen Stellen aus im Skigebiet zu sehen gibt, ist fantastisch.Kurzum, wir hatten eine super Woche und kommen gerne wieder.

Le Chalet

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine ,dans un chalet très spacieux et très bien équipé .Nous étions une famille de 8 adultes , 4 ados de 17 a11ans et 2 enfants de 9 et 3 ans l’idéal un arrêt juste devant tout les 15mn qui nous emmène au pied de téléphérique tout le monde a adoré Merci pour le très belle accueil

Chalet parfait, idéal pour séjour en famille

Chalet propre, spacieux et très bien équipé, avec tout le confort. Emplacement au top, proche du centre de saint Gervais et des commerces, navette gratuite juste en face. JF a été un hôte à l’écoute, très réactif pour répondre à nos questions.

Urige Hütte, modern eingerichtet.

Wir (3 Familien) hatten wundervolle Skiferien in St. Gervais. Die Hütte hat eine perfekte Lage. In wenigen Minuten zu Fuss in der Stadt oder in 12min am Lift. Wir haben aberbauch oft den Skibus genutzt, der genau vor der Tür hält. Das Auto brauchten wir die Woche daher nichr. Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich, erklärt alles beim Empfang. Das Haus ist eine alte Hütte, die mit viel Liebe und guten Geschmackt urig geblieben ist, aber mit moderner Küche und Bad alles hat was man für seinen Urlaub braicht. Wir haben eine tolle Woche gehabt. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft weiter.

Un authentique chalet qui a fait l'unanimité!

Ce douillet chalet à proximité du centre est desservi par les bus qui vous amènent au pied des pistes quelques que soient vos horaires.Le village et ses alentours sont attractifs et très touristiques.Ce séjour familial et sportif ne s'oubliera pas.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé d excellentes vacances dans ce chalet spacieux et chaleureux. Tout etait parfait, de la decoration, l'equipement de la cuisine, en passant par la bibiotheque bien fournie et les jeux de societe. L' emplacement est aussi ideal a 5 minutes du centre de St Gervais, et avec la navette qui nous emmene au telepherique en qqs minutes. JF est aussi un hote tres sympathique, nous reviendrons!

Fantastic chalet

We had a brilliant ski week over February half term . Perfect location 10 minute walk to gondola, lovely and warm , great for family and friends . Would highly recommend and hope to return one day.

Wonderful stay in a great house

The house has loads of character and plenty of space. Everything you could possibly need is provided for. Excellent! Saint Gervais village is a short walk away. Good selection of shops and restaurants. The navette to the ski lift stops just outside but is only a 12 minute walk away should you want to loosen out your legs ! Definitely recommend!

Well-appointed chalet ideally located for slopes and town

This chalet is a real home-from-home. Very comfortable and clean with everything you would expect and more. The best thing about this chalet is its location: if you want a chalet in the town, you are five minutes from the shops and restaurants of St Gervais AND the bus stops immediately outside the chalet to take you to the main Bettex ski lift. We hired ski equipment from a shop up the mountain and left our equipment in their locker room after skiing each day, so sometimes did the ten-minute walk to the lift instead. The bus runs every twenty minutes in low season (but beware, it doesn't stop at the advertised times, but precisely five minutes before them - so 15, 35 & 55 past the hour). The damage deposit is high but I think this is because the chalet does feel like your home and there are some nice furnishings. Although also rather high, I would recommend paying the cleaning fee because according to the contract you need to leave the chalet exactly as you find it and to do all that thorough cleaning while you are trying to leave for a flight in the morning would be a challenge. We flew to Geneva and got a private minibus transfer with Alpybus which was good value and took one hour. Once in resort, if you plan to ski in St Gervais each day there is no need for a car. ESF provided excellent tuition for children. It is easy to reach the public swimming pool on the navette bus (or on foot if you don't have small children with you) but on a totally random note if you visit the pool, take your towel all the way to the poolside with you as it's a long walk when you're wet and cold (and naked, as for some reason the six-year-old was by that stage). It's also easy to reach the Bains de St Gervais, which aren't in St Gervais but in La Fayet which you can reach on the Tramway de Mont Blanc (station very close to the chalet).
