Very nice property

This property was exactly as stated. The pool and exercise areas were very important to us and we enjoyed both. It is within walking distance of the Strip and many restaurants. Totally secured area with gates and remotes for entering property.

Meridian Resorts Review

Overall, a good value. The condo complex is very secure and the security staff does a very good job of keeping the property safe. Location is approximately half a mile to the Las Vegas Strip, an easy walk. Condo has all the essentials provided and the pool and gym area is cleaned regularly and in good condition.

Nice apartment in a great location

Very clean and convenient. Check in was difficult but apparently all units at this complex have the same issue. Once the washer was replaced everything was perfect. Owner was very responsive and helpful and washed sheets and towels while waiting for the new appliance.

Host does not maintain or care for the unit, inaccuracies in listing

The good: - The property the unit is on is nice, pool - Location is great for the price The bad: Safety issues: - discovered on the last day the front-right stove burner has a gas leak, even when lit - smoke alarm has been taken out and put in a kitchen drawer Inaccuracies in the listing: - the unit is on the first floor, even though the photos imply an upper floor - not all furniture from the photos match the unit (specifically some of the living room seats) - layout of the unit does not match the listing - wifi speed of 100Mbs specified in the listing is not provided - only 50Mbs - soap, toilet paper, paper towel are not provided other than a miniscule amount to "get you started" (quoted from contacting host). It seems to mostly be leftovers from previous guests - unclear if there was a fire extinguisher - unclear if there was a carbon monoxide detector - fairly certain there was no first aid kit - definitely no lake view Cleanliness issues: layers of dust Hair in bathtub Vomit on toilet seat Dirty utensils Other issues: A lot of corrosion on bathtub drain, evidence of a long term lack of care Outlet behind dining table has burn marks Some outlets are extremely loose Nevada energy will constantly override your thermostat during the day in the summer to 80F if you keep the white box under the TV plugged in Communication with host, Wifi issues: Host insisted on communication outside of VRBO - BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT THIS, VRBO IS LIMITED IN HOW THEY CAN HELP IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE AND THE COMMUNICATION WAS DONE OUTSIDE OF THE VRBO APP. Anytime anything seems suspicious keep it in the app, if the host continues to refuse to communicate that way, contact customer support When we arrived the wifi constantly dropped entirely, it took 2wks to get the owner to replace the decade old router and modem (confirmed age via a tech who visited). During this process the owner lied to us saying the tech said everything was fine (lie - I was with the tech when they phoned). While I will admit I didn't tell the host about all of the issues (I called him on the first day about the tp and the wifi), this is because I wanted to focus on the most pressing issues and get that resolved before moving on to other things. After the struggle that it was to get the host to fix the decade old wifi equipment I had no desire to continue working with him for the other issues. This said, all these issues are easily solved by caring for the unit properly, before guests complain

This reply to Mr. Campbells review is so unfortunate. Normally when guests arrive, he/she notify the management team about any issues within 24-48 hours and NOT STRECHING the issues for one and half months. If Mr. Campbell was not happy with the apt, he could have called me to see what the issues where. After I resolved any issues and he still was unhappy, we would have gladly refunded his money for the days he didn’t stay. GAS LEAK CLAIM: Mr. Campbell did not notify management about any gas leak. Mr. Campbell should have immediately notified management of this issue to prevent an explosion or harm to others. The first management heard of this issue was when he wrote his review 2 weeks later after he checked out. As a responsible landlord I notified the Nevada Gas Company to inspect this issue. They performed an inspection on 7/29/2020 and reported NO GAS LEAK or any other findings related to the gas. INTERNET: Another unfortunate issue related to Mr. Campbells review complaint. Six days after Mr. Campbell checked in, we received a text message from him. Mr. Campbell complained of interfering of the cable WIFI transmission. We Immediately got in touch with Cox Cable the next morning and scheduled an appointment to UPGRAD the speed to 150 MS, and to REPLACE any equipment and to check out the interference issues. The Cox Cable technician who serviced my call, REPLACED all the equipment’s, and CONFIRMED with Mr. Campbell that everything is working to correctly. Unfortunately, Mr. Campbell did not have his timelines in order, regarding it taking 2 weeks to rectify, when he made his complaint. AIR CONDITION: Management provided information regarding the instructions about the A/C during checking. Nevada Energy has regulations during HOT Summer whereby if the outside temperature reaches 3 digits temperature the Power Company will over-ride the Thermostat for 1 hour, to prevent overload and main power shut down. Mr. Campbell should have checked his check in instructions to be aware of this situation, instead he DISCONNECTED the thermostat wire from the router NOT allowing the system to work on its own and took full control of the thermostat. ITEMS: As a courtesy to all our guests we supply start-up items such as bottles of water, rolls of toilet paper, Roll of Kitchen towel, Washer, and general detergents and boxes of cleaners. We are not a five-star hotel and feel we were generous to accommodate the extras. We maintain our pride of ownership and accommodate all our guests. We have a professional cleaning team who not only thoroughly cleans the property but cleans our other properties as well. We never had any issues related to this before. Again if Mr. Campbell was unhappy with things, he should have communicated to our management team at least giving us an opportunity to fix any issues INSTEAD of writing a FALSIFIED review. We stand with VRBO with excellent ratings on all our properties and have been for 7 years.

Lacking a few basic household items.

We expected to have a comfort level to our liking and didn’t feel like we did, there was a limit we were suppose to keep the air at and we don’t find it comfortable to sit and sweat . There was a few household things that were in short supply that would have been nice to have a few more hangers, ended up just hanging most of our clothes over the bars in the closet, more towels and wash clothes would of been welcomed as well, beach towels not provided so bring your own

House in Summerlin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home in Summerlin. We appreciate you accommodating us after the water problem in your condo. We realize that you did not have to do that and again appreciate your kindness. Having the use and privacy of your house with a tranquil park like back yard was very refreshing. We were more than satisfied with the design of the house and its location. All of the appliances were high end and the kitchen was well equipped. We also found the area was very appealing pleasant clean and safe.

I visited property for 8 weeks and was so happy with the selection I made! The setting was perfect

I was traveling alone so I wanted to feel safe and secure. Also I wanted to be able to walk around the area. Meridian Resort came through with these requests! My apt was perfect and had everything I needed. The office staff was welcoming and very helpful. The security team was friendly , efficient and responsible. The grounds were well cared for. All in all I would recommend a stay at The Meridian to anyone who wanted to rent an apt in Vegas. Great experience!

2 months in Vegas at the Meridian on E Flamingo

We stayed here for October thru December 2018. What a lovely condo. The only thing better than the condo was the pool area with pool, hot tub and gas grills. The condo comes completely stocked with all that was needed. We had the great opportunity to interact with the owner Richard and what a pleasure. The condo is about 3 blocks from the strip and we made the walk about 45 times. We had no issues at any time. I had previously read about the complex when someone was complaining about the security. We had no issues what-so-ever. They were always very nice and polite. Thanks Richard for a great stay.

Great complex and an efficient one bedroom.

We spent two months here, February and March 2018. This is a nice little condo in a very nice complex, walking distance to the strip. The apartment has a new king size bed and good appliances. The complex itself is very well maintained. There is a lovely pool deck with nice furniture, a handball court, an exercise facility and tennis courts. The apartment complex is gated, with guards, and is very secure. It appeared that mostly young professionals were living there. There is an indoor parking garage with an assigned spot, and the building has an elevator. The condo has a washer and dryer, plenty of closet space and a small safe. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. The condo would benefit from a deep cleaning and a fresh paint job, new cookware and an improved couch, but for shorter stays focused on the strip and stepping out, these factors wouldn’t be much of an issue.

Great place, great location, Great Price

Had the condo for a two month stay. Location was fantastic, property was a great find, and the price was outstanding. This was as good as any 4-Star hotel, and better than some 5-Star, with a price that you don't find anywhere else in Vegas. Granted you have to have a 30 day stay to get the price, but if you are here for at least that long, you can't beat it, not by a long shot. I even threw a curve ball and extended my stay, and both the owner and VRBO made that a really easy extension, just a few emails and it got taken care of. Many claim "Easy Walking distance to the strip" This one delivers. Out the west gate of the property, 10 minute leisurely walk to Ventian/Palazzo, Linq (and High Roller), Flamingo, Bally's ...... everything. And there are two monorail stations to choose from. Cabs will come to the main gate or the building itself, and bus service stands are just a few hundred yards away. If you don't mind a 20 minute walk, yes you can walk to grocery stores, and other retail shopping, or a short cab ride (depending on what you take, $10-20) or a bus. There are convenience stores, and easy/fast and even premier restaurant/food locations within 5-10 minute walks. Delivery services by food, and grocery stores as well. The exercise facilities, tennis courts, pools, hot tubs, are all right out the door, and well maintained. Grounds are pleasant and park like, well kept. I would recommend this for anyone on business, or a long term leisure trip. As this is a one bedroom condo, not well suited to a family, but single and couples would find this quite a good fit. Definitely would stay here again.

Enjoyed stay very much

Excellent location, just off the strip, 5-10 minutes walk to Flamingo/Las Vegas. The grounds felt very safe, lots of security and entry monitoring, the pool area was beautiful and never overly busy. The apartment was clean with high end details, lots of room, well stocked and everything worked great. Definitely plan to be back next visit to Las Vegas.

Wonderful condo

We stayed in this condo for about 5 weeks. The owner Richie was very kind and helpful. The condo was clean and is equipped with everything you need! The location was great - 10 minute walk to the strip (a block away). The pool and gym are also well maintained and a great place to relax. The security in the gated community are everywhere and very professional. I will definitely stay here again!!!

Well i didnt even know vegas had places like this! It was great! The property was within walking distance to shopping, dining, the strip, everything! This place lacked nothing! I had everything including my own washer/dryer, dishes, towels, everything! The bed was so comfortable! I think it was one of those spa pillow top ones. The best was my own coffee maker. I loved getting up and making my own coffee instead of drinking some stale kind in the motel or spending $5 bucks for a cup in the hotel I had a great time, place was amazing, I am re booking for last week in june again I cant wait!
