We stayed two months in Casa Colores (Feb&March,'22). This is the largest casita of the four and was absolutely perfect. The decor, tilework, artwork, colors, furniture, etc, is in keeping with colonial Mex. The front door entry opens to a magical courtyard of beautiful plants and fountain. The open tiled archway is charming with planters, coach lights, outdoor furniture and at night magical garden lighting. The best thing about this facility, though, is Mary. She insures that you have everything you need - she drove us to the market for our provisions, gave us advice on restaurants, etc. The casita has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, comfortable furniture in living room, HUGE bathroom and a king bed, sofa and a wall of closets for all your belongings. The location is walkable to the malecon, plaza, restaurants, and shops. Ajijic's homes and buildings are covered with colorful and magical murals. We are travelers and this facility is the very best we have had the opportunity to visit. We were sad to leave. I must add that Mary's little dog, Charlie, gave us our furfix every day and put a smile on our faces.
