Our stay was wonderful! The house and location are ideal for quiet relaxation yet close to old city Aix en Provence. It is a 45 minute walk downhill to old town Aix or very easy bus ride from just down the lane from the house. Martine is a lovely host and is very helpful. Her home is spacious and comfortable with outdoor spaces to enjoy, too. I highly recommend staying here to visit Aix and this area of Provence. You’ll love it as we did!

Amazing place to stay near Aix-en-Provence

This is a lovely place to stay near Aix-en-Provence. Martine went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. We chose not to rent a car so travelled by bus and uber and were easily able to reach all the destinations we wanted to in the area. The garden is lovely for relaxing and the enjoying the flowers and bird songs. We would definitely come back again.

Notre séjour

Martine nous a accueillis très chaleureusement, et s'est montrée réactive et attentive à nos sollicitations. L'emplacement est parfait pour un séjour au calme tout près du centre ville, mais à portée des commerces d'alimentation. A refaire donc !

Classic Provence

Just as advertised the property was close enough to the city center to enjoy without the noise and craziness to keep you up at night. In fact, it was like being in the country kind of quiet. The best of both worlds! The host, Martine, is a sweet & kind lady who is very easy to work with. This is also a great jumping off point to other locations in Provence beyond Aix-en-Provence.

Perfect stay

We have had fantastic holidays in Aix-en-Provence. The location is very nice, all clean and in an excellent shape. Very nice garden with a tree giving shaddow during the heat. Aircondition available, which was perfect. Martine is a fantastic host. On time, friendly, excellent English language skills. All you need (incl. bus stop) in walking distance available. Big supermarket 7 minutes by car. To cut a long story short - you cant make anything wrong if you book this house.

Aix garden

This was a very wonderful property for visiting all parts of Provence. The house is good size and matches the pictures. You get a garden, free parking, easy access to Aix and all highway routes. To top it off, Martine is a wonderful host… you do need to bring your own internet.

Total relax

We stayed in July 2022 for a couple of days, the house is charming and with beautiful decoration elements! we enjoyed our breakfasts under the tree shade on the terrace with delicacies from the market from AIX EN PROVENCE. The house is a bit outside which gives you the peace to relax when at the house and very well communicated to reach the city center and also with the motorways for more excursions. Definitely to recommend. If it had a pool it would be heaven and we would not have moved much from the house.

Vacances très agréables

La maison de Martine est très bien située à Aix en Provence. Facile d accès. Elle est très propre et fonctionnelle.Il ne manque rien. Le coin est calme. Martine est très sympatique et surtout très accueillante. Je recommande fortement cette location .

Séjour très agréable

L'accueil était parfait, Martine est très sympathique et dévouée à ses hôtes. La maison est très mignonne et absolument impeccable, literies et salles de bain parfaites, le jardin est ombragé juste comme il faut. On se sent en pleine nature et on est pourtant tout près du centre d'Aix. C'est très proche de l'autoroute donc ideal pour aller explorer les villes alentour. Il y a une très bonne boulangerie au bout de la rue.
