We had a wonderful 2 week stay for our family of 4 adults here in Cavtat. The owner organised airport transfers for us and was there to welcome us when we arrived. The property is a modernised traditional Croatian house, so it is compact, but it has everything you could need and was very clean with plenty of essentials like towels and toilet paper supplied. The stairs to the bedrooms are very narrow so wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues. The owner was very friendly and contactable thoughout and dealt with any queries or issues promptly. The exterior is great - extensive gardens with a lovely pool and lots of sitting areas with plenty of shade - and lovely views out over the harbour. The biggest bonus was the location - literally 2 minutes walk, down steps or the road (or using the Hotel lift opposite) to the various harbours, supermarket and shops. Cavtat is a really pretty town, with lots of traditional buildings and a lively promenade, with over 40 restaurants, bars and cafes to choose from. There are many beaches (all rocky, no sand) and the swimming and snorkelling in the stunning clear Aegean sea was a highlight. There are numerous boat trips available, and the sea kayaking was one of our favourites. It is close to Dubrovnik, which you can easily access by the water ferries, Ubers or bus. It is also very close to the airport so you do get low flying aircraft coming over, but they tended to be in batches with long gaps in between. Overall, highly recommended.
