Los Buhos（The Owls）は、白い村のGaucinの静かな一角にある非常に広々とした豪華なヴィラです。広々とした充実した庭園、プライベートの塩水プール、信じられないほどの景色があり、夏の屋外生活に最適です。 ヴィラは「カンポシック」スタイルで装飾され、絵画や彫刻が保管されています。それらのほとんどは、ガウシンが有名な大規模な芸術コミュニティの作品です。 屋根付きの屋外ダイニングエリアがある40フィートの長さの5アーチのロッジアは、南向きの庭を見渡せます。 庭には太陽や日陰に座って静かなコーナーがたくさんあります。また、ブールや卓球をしたり、ハンモックでリラックスしたりする場所もあります。 設備の整った大きなキッチンの外には、テラスとサンベッドのあるプールを見渡すバーベキューエリアがあります。
涼しい季節には、庭と複数のテラスを備えた広々としたヴィラは、日中の冬の日差しを楽しんでから、暖かく居心地の良いインテリアに退却するのに理想的な空間を作ります。太陽が沈むとストーブ。
4つの大きなダブル/ツインベッドルームはすべて明るく広々としており、美しい木彫りのベッド、非常に快適なマットレス、上質なコットンのシーツが備わっています。 すべてのベッドルームには専用バスルームがあります。
ヴィラは田舎のように感じますが、村の多くの素晴らしいタパスバー、レストラン、ショップ、その他の施設はすべて徒歩数分以内です。 唯一の問題は、別荘を離れたくないと感じるかもしれないということです！

Wonderful!

An amazing property in a perfect location to explore Gaucin and the surrounding areas. The villa is beautiful and huge, with lots of different areas to relax and unwind, and perfect for a stay with our extended family. Situated within walking distance to pretty much everything in Gaucin, I would highly recommend this property. The hosts were absolutely lovely.

The villa surpassed our expectations. It is stunning, extremely spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The garden is beautiful with lots of areas to sit and admire the views. The pool area was great for the whole family. Upon arrival in Gaucín, we were met by the lovely Maria who guided us to the villa and showed us around. Gaucin is lovely town, very friendly with some great restaurants and bars and a few interesting shops and galleries. We able to bet everything we needed in the town. We ordered paella from Maria which was excellent. We don’t have a negating to say about our holiday, other than having to go home. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Stunning

The villa was everything we hoped for and more. The villa itself was stunning, spacious and full of beautiful artwork. The grounds and pool area again were amazing, space for everyone to have their own quiet place or congregate around the pool. And the view, well what can we say, you could never get tired of looking at that view. It was stunning and different every day, and at different times of the day. As for the owner, he went over and above to ensure we had the most perfect stay, for which we are extremely grateful. We will be back. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The most brilliant villa.

This was an absolutely superb villa and a real privilege to be able to stay in Ian and Jacqueline‘s wonderful home. The initial communications and directions were detailed and helpful and getting to and into the villa could not have been easier. The villa is superbly situated on the edge of Gaucin village - incredibly peaceful with the most amazing views. Everything in the village is a short walk away. The house is generous and spacious and filled with artifacts from around the world - full of character and very homely. The kitchen is one of the rooms that is better in reality than on the website: a cook’s dream and really well stocked with equipment and herbs and spices: the house is perfect for entertaining. The bedrooms are very comfortable and spacious and there are a seemingly infinite number of spaces to sit and enjoy a different view - inside or out. The garden is spectacular and full of intrigue and interesting spaces with many lovely spots for a morning coffee or an evening drink. The pool is refreshing and well maintained. Maria - the house help - could not have been more charming or helpful throughout our stay. If this villa is available, I would highly recommend it… we hope to be back.

We had a wonderful time at Los Buhos, the villa is unique and stunning, in an idyllic location, perfect for a get away from it all holiday, but also situated to benefit from the charm and hospitality of Gaucin.

Perfect week

A beautiful house in a lovely setting. We wanted somewhere which felt peaceful and calm, whilst also being able to access the life and restaurants of a village. This more than exceeded our hopes. A perfect holiday. We totally recommend you go and experience it.

We are a professional couple (both art historians) from Wimbledon, with three adult sons. We run our own business (Art & Culture Travel Ltd) which operates in London and also runs cultural trips to Europe. As well as a strong mutual interest in art, we also enjoy tennis, outdoor activities and a very full social life. Living between London and Gaucin allows us to enjoy all of our interests to the full.

The climate in southern Andalucia is wonderful, and Gaucin is probably the most beautiful, authentic 'white village' in the whole region, as well as being home to over twenty artists studios.
Villa Los Buhos is exceptional, being very spacious and well-designed, with a large garden, private pool and incredible views all the way to the straights of Gibraltar and the Rif mountains in Morocco. It feels as if it is in the countryside, yet it is also in the village, within a short walk of all the bars, restaurants, shops and other facilities.
We invite many friends here and most of them don't want to leave!

この宿泊施設の特徴

The villa was built in traditional style over a period of seven years, by a lady who had a remarkable eye for detail and quality, combined with a great instinct for layout, light and double-aspect views from almost every location in the villa.
The garden was largely created by a Japanese man who lived here for 14 years and introduced a great variety of exotic plants and trees. As well as a very beautiful salt-water swimming pool, the garden has many quiet corners, and exceptional views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, but also spaces for playing boule and table tennis, or just relaxing in the hammock.
Overlooking the garden is a wonderful south-facing loggia which provides space for relaxing as well as covered outdoor dining, with a view to die for.
The only problem? It's such an incredible environment that we sometime have to force ourselves to go out and enjoy everything the village has to offer as well!
