Good value. Great location.

We had a wonderful stay in Leslie's apartment. We especially like the large bedroom. We slept so well. Being right downtown is a plus with one of the best coffee shops right around the corner. At first we worried about street noise, but the soundproofing is excellent. The basement level took a bit of getting used to, but in the end felt quite cozy. The small bathroom window was a little exposing. But we fixed that by setting up a row of water bottles, generously supplied by Leslie, which not only provided more privacy, but created a cool lighting effect!

Good space and convenient location.

Mostly good and would stay again. Convenient to RPI and walking distance to restaurants. Up and coming, but in transition and people throw garbage around. Parking onsite, yay! Did not have door code upon arrival, after a few calls, I got what I needed. Smelled very musty upon arrival and took space heater to warm the place up, but got better with use over the week. Internet was good and tv had channels and smart apps. The space was quite sufficient for two and we were comfortable and safe. Since you must book a week at a time, it’s good that you can do a load of laundry. Lots of noisy foot traffic overhead (this is a basement apartment). Overall adequate.

Apartment is in a great location to RPI and downtown Troy.

The apartment is very neat and clean, extremely comfortable and quiet. There is access to a laundry room, a bonus. Off the street parking in a private lot is available in back of the building. There is an excellent variety of restaurants within walking distance. The owner and the property manager are available and prompt to respond. Would most definitely stay again!

Comfortable, clean and attractive

Good location to downtown. Within walking distance to restaurants, shops and Saturday farmers market. A very clean attractively decorated appartment with everything one would need, except for a hair dryer, had to buy one. Heating in this basement apartment is controlled by appartment upstairs so comfortable temperature is maintained by portable heaters. Not sure if they would be sufficient in the dead of winter though! We will hopefully stay here again when visiting family.

The apartment is my own place that I stay several times a year and in all seasons. I can assure you that it stays very warm and cozy during the winter and nice and cool in the summer. Most guests that have stayed in the past, have not required additional heating or cooling sources but they are avaialble for those that are more sensitive to temperatures below 68 degrees or above 75 degrees.

Comfortable place

We spent 8 days here in late October. It was very comfortable and meticulously decorated. It was perfect for our purposes. If you're looking for a place nearby the heart of Troy, this is it. It's a short walk to old downtown Troy, which appears to be experiencing a renaissance of sorts. Would have rated it 5 stars, but the one negative was humidity in the apartment. The owner is aware of the problem and is working to remedy it.

Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Donlon. You were wonderful guests! I'm sorry that the humidity was an issue. Unfortunately, the prior guest had turned off the dehumidifier for a long period of time. An automated air circulation fan has now been installed and remedied the situation. I hope that you will consider my Studio on your next trip to Troy.

I renovated the entire building. Everything is new inside but kept the original 1890's exterior character of the building in tact.
