A car is a must for staying at this Villa, as it`s vantage point is a half mile drive up a track to the top of the hill. This was our third stay in Cyprus in four years and this Villa is the best we have stayed in by far.Our travelling party was my wife, myself our seventeen year old daughter & her friend.
The Villa owner Marie is a lovely person. She gave me her phone number & friended me on WhatsApp so I could easily contact her in case of any queries.
On the day of our arrival she met us at a landmark and we followed her up the hill to the Villa.
The Villa is very spacious & beautiful inside & out.Suitable for six people. The view atop the hill is fantastic & there is a constant sea breeze, which, when the temperature is in the 30s all day is a welcome relief.Everything is like brand new inside & out.Everything worked & we had no cause for complaint whatsoever. There is also a double garage with electric roller door & an electronic gate.
The swimming pool is large, spotlessly clean & you can see down the coastline from within it.
There is a stable internet connection " for the kids" as well as cable television so they don`t have to miss any of their reality tv programmes!
There is more air conditioning than you can shake a stick at & there is even a shower room to the side of the pool next to the stone barbecue & traditional clay oven .We used the barbecue on several occasions.
The best thing about the bedroooms, as the rest of the Villa, is that all the sliding windows & doors have sliding mosquito screens inside them too.Not that anyone got bitten even once, but you can leave the balcony doors or windows open at night & enjoy a breeze as a alternative to airconditioning.
The Villa is about a mile outside Ayia Napa & we went to Nissi Beach
several times as well as the Atlantis Water Park which is one of my favourite places anywhere. Also you can turn left at the small Football Stadium at the bottom of the hill & follow the coast road round to the sea caves at Cape Greco below the Church or carry on round a bit further to Konnos Bay our favourite small beach on the island with it`s
Watersport centre.
Protaras is about 15 minutes away. You can either use the coastal road or go straight across on the dual carriageway to Fig Tree Bay.
We ate out in Protaras a lot at night, as well as Ayia Napa which is a pull for the teenagers.
I have the view from the back of the Villa as my screen saver.Which I could probably have just said that!
