Lovely stay!!

Super clean and well located property! All communication with the owner has been fabulous even though our trip had to be rearranged 3 times due to the pandemic! Loved the added Netflix feature too!

Excellent location and beautiful apartment

We spent the May Bank holiday weekend at Foxgloves and it was fantastic. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need for a self catering holiday. The super king bed was great. It has a lovely view from the bay window in the lounge and despite not having parking we found places to park not far away. We would definitely recommend!

Fantastic location & great host

This property is in the heart of Windermere with restaurants, shops and groceries on your doorstep. Our host was incredibly communicative and helpful too.

A lovely apartment in the centre of Windemere

The apartment, with a large well appointed lounge, a good sized bed in the bedroom with a modern bathroom and well equipped kitchen was perfect for our needs. We were in the centre of Windemere, which is a lovely town near (but not on) the lake and a little quieter than Bowness just down the road, which is on the lake and ideal for catching the ferry for different excursions.

Luxurious apartment

Was very impressed with this beautiful apartment . Lots of little extras to make you feel at home, the bottle of prossecco on arrival was a nice touch. Had everything you could possibly need or want. Perfect central location in the centre of town with shops , pubs and restaurants on your doorstep. Slight issue with the parking as we have a Hugh car but easily overcome but please don't let this put you off as the accommodation was worth it. Thank you Wayne for a lovely stay

I have been fortunate to have lived in the Lake District for almost 20 years. I am a keen runner and complete at least one full marathon a year. I'm a dog lover and like nothing more than a walk with the dog.

The Lake district really is Chicken soup for the soul,. I fell in love with the Area 20 Years ago and have been lucky enough to work and live in the area ever since.We are just a stones throw from the largest lake in England, from great pubs and restaurants, lovely shops and tea rooms and of course some quite high mountains - Windermere has it all!

Foxgloves has a lovely warm feel to the property, Large bay window and high ceiling give the the lounge a sense of elegance and space. In the very heart of the lake district but tucked just out of the way from the noise of traffic. A short walk from the train and bus station it's perfect if you do not have a car. Restaurants and bars are just a short stroll away, and the Lake it self is only 20 or so minuets on foot.
