Absolutely beautiful property! House is beautiful and surrounding area is to die for. Very warm and cozy (we stayed Christmas week) 7 days, some of the best seven days iv spent away from home. Great being pet friendly, had our three dogs with us they loved it! Fire place is amazing. Over all a beautiful place and a great stay! Highly recommended. Great host also!

An absolutely beautiful property with a lovely walk to the village and so much to see and do. A bit of plane spotting kept the children amused with a great view of the local airport.

A piece of absolute heaven.

We took the house on as a family holiday first one in 3 years. This was a fabulous venue. The house sits in a rise on the inlet. It has a stunning summer house built on stilts with balcony, seating, bar-b-q. The house has great wifi as well as a proper working TV channels including access to Netflicks.There are two pubs nearby and a couple of great take aways as well. The house was fully equipped with books, games to entertain. The house itself was brilliant ensuite rooms l, comfortable beds and storage I can't state enough how great the house and location was. We will definitely book again.If you get the chance please book this property

Had a great stay , hiking around Donegal , the setting of the house is picture perfect , there was plenty of room for the 5 of us to spread out everyone agreed it was a great cottage , close to beach and mountains.Jim was a great host too. Can’t wait to return.

Das schönste Ferienhaus, in dem wir jemals waren. Die Atmosphäre sorgt dafür, dass man sich gleich willkommen fühlt. Es war alles da, das man brauchen könnte. Besondere Highlights sind die Lage, der Ausblick und das Gartenhaus. Wir möchten auf jeden Fall gerne wiederkommen und länger bleiben.

Staycation in Annagary, Donegal – A Perfect Winter Retreat

Our recent staycation in Annagary, Donegal, was everything we hoped for and more. Nestled along the stunning shoreline, the house provided the perfect winter escape for our family over a long weekend. Despite a storm rolling through, the cozy atmosphere of the house made it feel like a true haven.The house itself exceeded our expectations. It was more than adequate in size, offering plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind without feeling crowded. The amenities were fantastic – from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable living spaces, every detail was thoughtfully provided to ensure a comfortable stay.What truly made this location special was its proximity to the shore. Waking up to the sound of waves and stepping outside to take in the breathtaking coastal views was an absolute treat. Even during the stormy weather, the charm of Annagary and its rugged beauty shone through.This staycation was a perfect blend of comfort and adventure. Whether it was cozying up indoors with the family or braving the elements to explore the surrounding area, we felt completely at home. Annagary is a gem, and we can’t wait to return – hopefully next time with clearer skies!Jim (The Host), although never met in person was very quick and clear with communication and allowed us a couple extra hours to check out than listed which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque retreat in Donegal.

Hübsches Haus in ruhiger Lage

Wir wurden überrascht von einem großen und gemütlich eingerichteten Haus. Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz für uns 6 Leute, es ist auch gut mit allem an Equipment was wir zum Speisen, Waschen, und Schlafen benötigen ausgestattet. Auch eine Menge Infos über die Umbgebung finden wir im Wohnzimmer. Check In & Check Out funktionierte stressfrei. Gern kommen wir wieder!

Superb base to discover beautiful Donegal

Bright spacious house yet cosy and comfortable. We immediately felt at home here. The outside space is wonderful and especially so with the new sun room and terrace with sea views. It was so nice to come back to this house after a day exploring all that Donegal has to offer. We had everything we needed.

Schönes Haus in toller Lage

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus war gut ausgestattet und die Lage sowie der Ausblick waren fantastisch. Lediglich die Sauberkeit war an einigen Stellen verbesserungswürdig.

Annagry Lovely area

Enjoyed staying in Annagry, the house was very centrally located and easy to get around Donegal. Lots of lovely beaches nearby and you can watch the planes coming and going. The house was very comfortable, had an issue with unwashed floors and dust when we arrived but a mop and duster sorted out both. Would return to the area again, lots of places to eat, we had a very relaxing time away.

Everything you’d want from remote Ireland

This place was amazing .. great view and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for. It was a short walk to the village and the locals were so nice. We felt very safe with our 8 yearold there. Beautiful drives to the wild Atlantic way, the national park and Derry. The property manager is very responsive and we fully enjoyed this stay to the point where I don’t want to ruin this town with a review.
