Brilliant accommodation

Lovely villa in a truly beautiful town - great pool, excellent facilities, convenient location with only a short walk to local sights, shop, and restaurants. Parking and road access could sometimes be a bit tricky, but this was largely due to diversions in place during major local festival while we were there.

Absolutely Perfect 2 Weeks

Wow, what a place this is! The property has been renovated to a very high standard, it is stunning inside and out. The bedrooms are all good size with en-suite's and much needed air conditioning, kitchen and living area have all you need and more. The pièce de résistance has to be the pool and BBQ area outside. We spent most of our time out there either sitting in the shade of the umbrella or cooling off in the pool. Gas BBQ is brilliant, we had lovely meals outside. Washing machine on the top floor and hanging your washing out on the roof is just perfect, there is an iron and ironing board up there too which meant we came home with 4 suitcases of washed, dried and ironed clothes so no faffing about with holiday washing when we got home! Gharb is lovely, shop and 3 bar/restaurants within easy walking distance. The Bolt & Uber taxi services are very efficient and the bus service runs at least every hour. Under 10 minutes you are in Victoria and from there you can go anywhere on the island. Aaron the host is extremely helpful and arranged our transfers to and from the airport as well as a mid-stay change of towels and bed linen and the pool guy came in to check all was good. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here!

Urlaub mit Freunden

Haben den Aufenthalt in Gharb sehr genossen. Das Ferienhaus liegt mitten im Ort. Sehr sauber und großzügig eingerichtet. Auch der Pool war sehr sauber und hatte eine angenehme Temperatur. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit, im Garten mit einem Gasgriller zu kochen. Einkaufen kann man in unmittelbarer Nähe. Verbesserungsvorschlag: die Liegen beim Pool könnten einmal ausgetauscht werden.

Fantastic property in lovely quiet Gharb

This property was absolutely amazing, everything we could have asked for our family holiday in Gozo. The property is in a lovely quiet part of Gharb, only a short walk to local shops, restaurants and a short drive to the best of Gozo's charm. The house was clean, well provisioned (plenty of towels, pool towels, toilet rolls, hand wash, washing machine and dishwasher stuff etc to last our stay). The pool is amazing, in some shade for plenty of day, super private, surrounded by high walls and lovely with both deep, allowing for proper swimming, and shallow ends and a jaccuzzi. The bedrooms all had air conditioning and stayed cool when this was off during the day. Aaron was super helpful with arrangements, organising our airport transfer and so welcoming when we arrived, and on hand if any issues arose, none did! Definitely recommend!

Space and comfort

Aaron à été très accueillant. Disponible en tout temps pour répondre à nos questions. La maison est très propre et très grande. Très bien équipé vous avez tout ce qu'il vous faut pour passer un bon séjour. La piscine est superbe, grande. Au final nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Je recommande ce logement.

Gozo experience

Aaron was very helpful from the outset organising transfers to the property from the airport. The property was very clean and spacious and had all amenities that you required. It is conveniently located in town with a restaurant very close by and a small convenience store all in the vicinity. I stayed there alone and at no stage did I feel unsafe. Transport into town I often used Mario's taxi service and returned by bus. The glass factory is within walking distance and it is also close to the Inland sea. I would certainly go again especially if you want to be immersed in Gozo rather than the hotel experience.

Spacious and handsome property

This property is surprising; the British conception of a farmhouse is utterly different from the Tilmun farmhouse. There are no fields to be seen and access is from a street. At the front, on the street, it looks quite modest and would qualify as a townhouse. As soon as you go through the front door, you enter a different world. It is beautifully finished in a traditional Gozitan style with the local limestone. The rear of the property is recently built and the front is original (as I understand) but well refurbished. The open living space has a high ceiling. Going up the stairs to the bedrooms feels like living in a castle. The downstairs bedroom was convenient for the disabled member of our party. Each bedroom has an en suite shower and toilet. The only problem we had was that the first couple of days we stayed was cold, wet and windy - unusual weather - and we had difficulty keeping warm since there is generally no central heating in Maltese houses; keeping cool is the more common problem. Once the weather warmed up, we had very pleasant sunshine in the back yard around the pool. The property is really beautiful and we can recommend it with only this reservation.

Stunning

Tilmun is a stunning property, full of character. The pool is excellent and is in full sunshine until around 4pm. Gharb is a quiet village with a handful of restaurants and a convenience store and the church is beautiful. From the village we took walks to the Azure Window, Gozo Craft Village and Gordon Lighthouse and Tatitas restaurant in the neighbouring village of Saint Lawrence was wonderful. There is a bus service from the village, and it was extremely cheap and easy to travel around Gozo this way. Gozo is a magical island, full of treasures and barely affected by tourism. We found it a perfect balance of luxurious relaxation and breath taking sight seeing. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful old farmhouse for whole family.

We rent the farm for one month for family and friends. Very nice, clean, fully equiped. Deep swimming pool, but there is shallow place for kids. Nice rooms with bathrooms an a lot of space inside. Anything you need for holiday in old village not far form beaches, good place for walks. I really recomend.
