Desert Oasis

The property was well appointed, beds were comfortable and linens were top of the line. The unit itself would benefit from some minor upgrades...we had to put a board under the BBQ to use it; the light switches didn't seem to turn on the lights; a chair in the primary bedroom was broken and the interior looked like they were getting ready to paint.In terms of the property, it was a nice development and the patio was relaxing. Not being a club member is a bit of a bummer and the club employees seemed a bit snooty. My husband went to eat at the club and the service was slow for non-members. The host does indicate that to enjoy golf and tennis priviledges you need to be affliated with the country club so I was warned. We had our teenage sons with us and I think I would probably not go to Palm Springs for spring break in the future just because the community definitely caters to the retired crowd.The furniture and beds were very comfortable the accommodations were good. I probably won't go back but if I did it would be for a solo trip or with girlfriends.The owner was responsive to requests once on the property, there was a bit of confusion prior to checking in but it was easily resolved.The price was right and the unit was comfortable.

AMAZING

Host was very nice. It was very clean & spacious & so pretty! We stayed for Coachella weekend & had an absolute amazing time. Neighbors were super nice too. Would definitely stay again

Country Club in Palm Desert

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely unit on the golf course. We were able to check in early and the check-in procedures were well explained. There were a few broken items (chair in master B/R, umbrella on patio) which I contacted the manager about, but since our stay was just 2 nights, these were not repaired or replaced while we were at the property. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone in the Palm Springs area.

Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Pros were it was in a quiet neighborhood beautiful neighborhood right next to the golf course was awesome and there's so many pools which was very convenient. The home was large and comfortable. Cons were the train noise, which didn't really bother us and the communication with the host could've been quicker responses. overall great place to stay!

Toto trip!

Our hosts were amazingly attentive and thoughtful. After a long ride down from Vegas through Big Bear Mountain on our motorcycles we were met with hospitality , a great location and great communication. We will be booking with these hosts for all of our trips down to Palm Springs for concerts moving forward!!

Lovely apartment in beautiful complex

Our stay at JJ and Alicia’s place was lovely, the unit is clean, modern, and well stocked. It’s a gorgeous complex with palm trees and many pools. Only con is quite a bit of gardening noise in the morning if you plan to sleep in.

Father-Son Golf Weekend

Clean, safe, well appointed room, met all of our needs for father/son golf weekend. The only negative is that this unit is located across the street from the railroad line and trains woke us up in the middle of the night multiple times. I would not rent this unit again because of this location.

The country club property is lovely. The unit we stayed was very nice and well equipped. Unfortunately, the location of the unit on the country club grounds is at the back of the neighborhood and backs up to the road and train tracks. It is very noisy - many trains go by regularly. The person in the back bedroom, if a light sleeper, might get disturbed frequently. Also, some amenities that were advertised were not available.

Awesome condo!

We would stay here again. Palm Valley is such a great community and this condo is updated and very nice. Beds are comfortable too! The owners were great at communicating with us and checking in to make sure everything was going okay. Thanks for a great stay!

Unexpected cleaning to do ourselves for 2.5h

The same day we were to check in, the owner says there was no way to find a cleaning service to replace hers (who had called in sick). Not sure if she is local, but if so and if I was her, I would go clean the property myself. I understand if she doesn’t live close by. Anyway, we got there and just as told… No cleaning had been done so here I was with my two elderly in laws washing showers, scrubbing bathrooms, changing linens in both rooms, cleaning the kitchen, vacuuming, taking out trash etc which took us about 2.5h. Then when I was going to bed I found a small bug (in the clean linens I had put on the bed myself. No idea how it got there). Yes, we were offered to either get a full refund back and find somewhere else to go that same day ($$$$) or get the cleaning fee refunded. I picked the later, but I think it would’ve been nicer if we got an additional discount on this rsvp for the inconvenience. The grounds are beautiful (they have golf course) super clean and well kept, lots of pools to enjoy as well. Owner also had bikes and scooters which is ice. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be booking this property again.

Disappointment

The property was not as satisfactory as I had anticipated. I ended up with a list of items that needed to either be replaced or repaired for the next group of guests ranging from the garage door not operating to broken items in the unit. A disappointment considering the cost of the unit and the sounds of freight trains rumbling through the unit every 10-15 minutes. They sounded like jet planes landing outside our door throughout the day. The best selling point was the view from the patio. The unit was the most expensive one in the area-definitely overpriced!

Beautiful views

All of the prior reviews are accurate. Clean rental, comfortable beds, beautiful views of golf course and mountains. Trains and highway proximity did not bother us at all.

We love this location... There are a group of owners all in this area that have been there for years and a few of them loved it so much they moved there full time. We knew when we picked this location it was one of the top desired spots. There are no condos directly across the grass/water obstructing the view of the sunsets or mountains.

Many repeat travelers book this row of condos and they have all become friends. They meet around the same time and BBQ and drink wine together in the evenings. Its a great spot to meet long term summer friends.
