My husband and I are both dismayed to have learned of your dissatisfactory experience in renting our property, and we wanted to provide you with the courtesy of a polite and professional response, as we are family owners of this home for over 20 years (not absentee investors or group property owners), and we do our utmost to insure that the property that we share with you as our guests is of the quality that we would expect for ourselves. With regard to the furnishings in our home, pictures of all of the rooms and their furnishings are very clearly depicted in the photos in our property listing, as we strive to provide complete honesty and transparency that the property that you choose from our listing is the property you receive, and while we can freely admit with all honesty that our property is not the HGTV Dream House, what it is is spacious and serviceable for the extremely aggressive price point at which it’s offered ($509/night vs. an overall average of $809/night for the (19) available properties in our immediate Eastward Look North community – or a full 37% LOWER IN PRICE vs. the average). That said, we do appreciate your comments regarding the condition of the pull-out bedding as well as the capped wiring you noted on the wall and apologize sincerely for them; both will be promptly addressed for future guests. With regard to your comments regarding the cleanliness of our property, we do sincerely regret that this did not meet your satisfaction, as we fully agree on the importance of a clean property for ourselves and our family members when we travel. This is why we provided for you, as we have always done for all of our guests, the name and contact information of our Property Cleaning partner - both in our rental agreement, as well as clearly and visibly posted in our home, and we freely encourage all of our guests to utilize this incremental cleaning service (at our additional expense) if for any reason you are dissatisfied. We only wish that you would have exercised this option, as we are confident that we would have been able to address your cleanliness concerns during your stay with us, rather than here in the post-rental environment. We sincerely appreciate your business in renting our home via VRBO, as well as your valuable time in providing us with your feedback; we are at your disposal to address any other concerns you may have.

My husband and I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your review, as well as to let you know we sincerely regret that you had a less than stellar experience renting our home. We take great pride in making sure that we provide a home-away-from-home experience that provides great space, comfort, and value for the money, and as you were probably aware before deciding on renting our home, we have had nothing but overwhelmingly positive reviews. So needless to say, we are sorry on two fronts - sorry that you clearly did not have the experience you were looking to have, and also sorry that we did not have the opportunity to make the effort to "make things right" for you and your group. We would undoubtedly have been more than happy to have sent our plumbing and maintenance partners to the house to resolve all of the issues you describe, had you simply contacted us about it at the time. Our prior (and many repeat) rental clients I am sure would corroborate that we would have quickly and happily addressed any issue. We have notified our service partners to address all, and we again regret not having the opportunity to address your concerns during your time in our home. Your happy vacation rental experience is our goal.
