WALK TO THE BEACH IN A FEW MINUTES. This beach house is a BLOCK FROM SCARBOROUGH BEACH and from the end of the driveway, you can see the beach down the road. You can also see beach from 3rd floor deck. Location is excellent. See map. It is the 7th house from the beach.

This house has AIR CONDITIONING

1st floor: Open concept kitchen/family room and 1/2 bath. Kitchen is fully stocked to entertain a large crowd. It has 2 REFRIGERATORS and a center island for more seating.
It has a 12 cup coffee maker and a Keurik, a 4 bread toaster, blender, lobster pot, dishes, utensils, dishwasher, pots and pans, spices, etc. Trash bags, toilet paper, hand soaps, dish soaps provided. Each bed has pillows, blanket and a comforter.

2nd floor: 2 bedrooms with a shared bath with tub/shower combo and 1 master bedroom with its own bath with tub/shower combo.
Both baths have tub/shower combo. Washer and dryer and iron and iron board, hair dryers. are provided.

3rd floor: 2 bedrooms with 1 bath with shower and open family room in the middle with a futon (full size) with cathedral ceilings and skylights.
There is a porch with table and 6 chairs off the bedroom and family room as shown in the picture with ocean views down the street.

Scarborough Beach has NO CHARGE TO WALK ON.

EASY CHECK IN WITH A CODE.

We provide 8 beach chairs, beach umbrella, cart and toys. The back yard is very private, with a Weber grill with the gas line hooked up to the house , outdoor hot water shower (not enclosed) and patio tables and chairs on a patio.
The front of the house has a porch.

Walk to get ice cream! This home is less than a mile to Aunt Carrie's restaurant and Iggy's Famous Doughboys and Chowder House. The Block Island Ferry in Galilee is just 1.5 miles away. Galilee has many popular restaurants, shops, Salty Brine State beach, which is located at the breach way where you can sit and watch all the fishing boats, ferries and pleasure boats ride by. Narragansett Towers are near by where you can walk the wall and go to the shops and many restaurants. There are playgrounds and tennis courts nearby.

5 Stars – Perfect Beach Getaway!

We had an amazing stay at this house! The location couldn't have been better—just a quick five-minute walk to a beautiful beach. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, including towels, sheets, and even beach chairs, which made packing so much easier. With five spacious bedrooms and great air-conditioning, there was plenty of room and comfort for everyone in our group.The owner was incredibly easy to communicate with—friendly, responsive, and provided all the information we needed ahead of time, which made check-in and our entire stay completely stress-free.I can't recommend this house enough. If you're looking for a relaxing beach vacation within walking distance to the ocean, this is the place to stay. We would absolutely come back!

Perfect location and setup

The entire process from booking to checkout was super easy! The home was clean and setup was perfect for our two families, ages 7-adult. we were there for a quick trip but we will DEFINITELY be back.

The house was lovely - 5 spacious bedrooms, ample, well-equipped kitchen, very clean, nicely decorated. The back yard was fenced in and private, with 2 tables and umbrellas. The third floor, which housed 2 bedrooms, also had a large sitting room and spacious covered deck. The neighborhood was quiet and the house was situated walking distance from Scarborough Beach, for which passes were provided. There were beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, and a carrying cart. The price was reasonable, the host friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance cozy and beachy-all making for a great vacation. Highly recommend.

Incredible Home

This beautiful home is in a perfect location! Easy walk to the beach, with free walk in access. The home was fully equipped with everything needed for our stay and for the beach. Shops and restaurants are a short drive. We found multiple homemade ice cream shops that were also close. Our family completely enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! The homeowner is easy to communicate with and replies quickly. I highly recommend this rental!

This is the perfect house for multiple guests. It is located walking distance from the beach and close to restaurants/coffee shops. The house is spacious, with plenty of room outside and inside to enjoy. 8 of us stayed two nights and we had plenty of space. The three levels and deck on the third floor are definitely a win.

Week in Narragansett

Home was quite spacious for me and two other families with young children, and is conveniently located about a 7-minute walk to the beach. Owner is very responsive to questions and comments. Beautiful views of the ocean from the street. I would stay here again.

Great location!

Our family of 10 recently stayed at this property. The house is as advertised! The home had all the necessary amenities and was so close to the beach you can easily walk. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas as well going into Newport multiple times. We will definitely be returning next year!

Family/Friend Vacation

Our friends and family thoroughly enjoyed are stay in Narragansett. This house was beautiful and loved the fact that it was only 7 houses away from the beach (within walking distance). Perfect Beachhouse Getaway

My family and friends went to block island for the day and wanted a place to stay close by the ferry when we returned that night! This was the perfect location. Easy, so close to the beach, clean and comfy- highly recommend. And Joanne reached out and had great communication the whole time. House is gorgeous with plenty of room and fun decor! Beach is a 5 min walk. Everything was amazing- thank you!

Pictures don't tell the whole story.

Cleaning service not the best. Sand and crumbs on floor not vacuumed. Bathroom pail with female waste not emptied. Great location. Quick 5 minute walk to beach. No car needed. Inside of house needs some upkeep. Wall towel racks wobbly. Radiators rusty, needs some paint. As with most of our stays we left the place cleaner than we found it.

This house was perfect for our beach weekend! We had a group of 10 ladies, and there was plenty of space. The house was clean, and very well stocked. The location is hard to beat - just down the block from the beach. Also, Joanne was incredibly nice and communicative.

Fantastic property and host!

Very clean and modern house. Sits a short 5 mins walk from the beach. Excellent views of beach/ocean from a couple of rooms and the 3rd floor deck! All the instructions were provided in email and via notes throughout the house. Made the process very easy.

Family get together

Great location, close to beach and walking distance to restaurants, lighthouse and icecream. Plenty of room, sleeps 14 but plan on double occupancy for each bed and futon if you have 14 in your group. The kitchen is well stocked and the extra refrigerator came in handy.

Cheers for 70 Years!

It was the perfect spot to relax after touring Newport and Narraganset, and enjoying time on the beach and lots of great restaurants! The house is well suited for small groups - roomy, comfortable, and equipped with everything! Joanne is a gracious host, always available and responding promptly ;-)

Family reunion

Great place. Lots of room to have 12 people spread out. Well located to run to Newport, Watch Hill or anywhere. Quick walk to Scarborough Beach Will return if we go back to RI in the future.

I am Joanne Armstrong. I am 62. I live 15 min away in Wakefield RI. I retired from Amtrak on the Acela high speed trains after 34 years. My passion is houses, renting houses and decorating them and updated them. We built this one in 2000 and I designed the floor plans. I have 2 children. My son 27 and my daughter is 24 . Both played soccer their whole lives and now are coaches. . My husband and I have been married 30 years.

This house has 3 floors to spread out. Kids love the 3rd floor. It is a very short walk to the beach. The kitchen and 3 baths are recently updated. There are 4 bathrooms. The first floor is very open and the patio has 2 tables to seat 12. All very nice.
