Wonderful property. Our Quad Squad got together for a fun weekend. We visited in November, so not much “lake” time. Enjoyed the wrap around porch and the fire pit. The room above the garage was great for watching football. It’s a great spot with beautiful views.

Wonderful view, layout of rooms were very nice. Comfortable beds. Home was beautifully decorated, amenities were much appreciated.

We had a girl’s week and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Zettler Cottage. The property is beautiful, clean and has spectacular views of the lake. The sunsets are amazing. We highly recommend this property because it had everything we could ask for and more.

This place is fabulous and the view every morning and evening was a special gift. Chris was very accommodating of our request and it was much appreciated. Plenty of room to roam and relax and also a full service kitchen at our disposal. Looking forward to booking again soon.

Everything was beautiful. One area of conversation ncern was the railings outside weren’t secure in spots. This is a concern for an older group. Thanks for your efforts to keep this a beautiful family get together. The views are stunning.

Our stay at the Zettler Cottage was beyond amazing! The location is very easy to find and the property is beautiful! The outdoor/waterfront area is one of the most stunning I've seen. My friends and I planned a weekend girls trip to relax and spend time together. We couldn't have asked for a better rental. There was plenty of space, plenty of seating options whether it was outside, in the living room or eating at the dining room table. The amount of beds and bedrooms was perfect, and the fact that each bedroom had it's own private full bathroom was even more perfect. The waterfront area was great - it is shallow water with sand and no seaweed/plants. Perfect to hang out and float on a raft! Thank you again for sharing your home.

The house was roomy and was situated with a near perfect view of the lake. The three tier patio and porch really made it feel like resort living. It was perfect with plenty of seating on all levels. Access to the water was so easy and fun with our rafts. It also accommodated fishing from the dock. I wish the gathering room inside the door was larger, but, other than that, it was a great vacation place. So great that we already booked for next year!

Great Outdoor Space!

My family and sisters family had a great time, spent hours on the lake each day boating, paddling and floating. Wonderful outdoor space allowed us to spread out and have a great time. Sunsets are stunning and it is a quiet area.

Best Patio to watch Lakelife

Zettler Cottage is a great place for your family or friends getaway. Plenty of room for all, whether you are inside or outside. The 4-tier patio is a great way to watch lakelife or swim, fish, play games, sitting around the firepit, or just relaxing in the many chairs, especially the rocking chairs. The kitchen is well stocked with whatever you might need to cook or just want to make a special cocktail. You can't go wrong in staying here.

Memorial Day 2025

It is not Memorial Day without a stay at Indian Lake. Our family loves Zettler Cottage and we are looking forward to returning in 2026 with our first grandchild.

No code….No go

We weren’t given the entrance code until one hour and 45 minutes after check-in time. Tried twice to email the host but never heard back. Had to get a hold of VRBO customer service. We were told to wait one hour and they would resolve the problem after one hour. No call back. Had to start the process all over again with another VRBO customer service agent. After our stay, we were told to take the sheets off the bed and the pillowcases and put them in the laundry room. My mattress that I stayed on was so soiled, and the pillow was almost brown. This Home needs some serious cleaning upstairs. The downstairs was beautiful. The setting was beautiful but would not recommend this place to anyone. About the code, all the host said was I’m sorry I can’t say anymore. We asked for a night free and received it.

Family (fishing) Trip

The house is very nice. The location is great and easy to find. The back patio is awesome. We got to enjoy it between the rains. The dock was perfect for the the guys's fishing boats. It was a relaxing stay. We would definately go back.

Cousin Camp

A weekend reunion for seven cousins was held at Zettler House. There was plenty of parking and the gathering space was perfect. The large table accommodated ten people for eating and games and we loved the living area with a direct view of the lake.

Family Wedding Stay
