Perfect cozy getaway!

Green Cabin

This is the third time we stayed at this cabin. We love it!! The owners are great to work with. Cabin is clean and well taken care of. The creek that runs through the back yard is very relaxing to listen to. We had daily visits by many turkeys and a Pileated Woodpecker. We will definitely be back.

Winter Stay-cation

Fantastic little clean and cozy cabin, great for our mini winter stay-cation! Beautiful creek views and lots of wildlife. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Will come back in the spring to do some fishing.

Quick weekend

The Green cabin was a wonderful peaceful weekend getaway. Having the river out the backdoor is wonderful. The cabin was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. Recommended!

Great cozy getaway

Beautiful cozy cabin life!

We woke up to a deer walking through the river behind the cabin. We were very happy with this place and we had a wonderful host. Very clean! I would recommend to anyone that wants to feel nanature up close.

Quiet anniversary getaway!

We were looking for a quiet space to enjoy our anniversary and thought we would give this cabin a try. The communication with the owner was outstanding and everything about the property was excellent. We loved sitting by the river reading and we had all our meals in the screened in porch. Outside of one dinner out, we stayed at the cabin the entire time. It was exactly what we were looking for!

Checked All The Boxes

Hosts went out of their way to make the cabin very welcoming. Very Clean! Bathroom clean and just the right amount of space. Furniture was extremely comfortable. Take a few minutes to sit by the creek. Watch the one black squirrel of all the squirrels defeat the squirrel deflector on the bird feeder. Since we were there during the Olympics we gave him the Gold for his acrobatic skills to swing up and grab the suet cage! Many species of birds including a turkey walking through the yard with her brood.

So peace ful and wonderful

Everything was just as pictured. So clean and peaceful! We can't wait to go back. I love that there was no cleaning fee. Nick was wonderful to work with and gave us a call to resolve a problem wiht VRBO. This place is tranquil with the creek literally in the front yard.

up north getaway

Had a awesome time. Cabin was very clean and well stocked. Owner Nick is very pleasant to talk to. Stay was very quiet and abundant with wildlife. Planning on going back.

Property was just as described.. if not better. Went for a little weekend away and it was perfect. Peaceful.. just the reset we needed. Won’t ever hesitate returning!

Relaxing

This cabin was in a very secluded area but easy to navigate to. The back yard was right on Big Creek which was shallow and had a relaxing babbling sound all day and night. Large windows and screened porch was excellent for morning coffee.

This property is amazing. Spotless and has everything you need. Beautiful view of Big Creek and coffee on the dock in the mornings is amazing. We've stayed here twice so far and will be back!

Real Life Bob Ross Painting

It rained our entire stay. Most people would think that's a bummer, but the screened in porch listening to the river and the rain... Incredible! I honestly couldnt have asked for more. We would definitely return and absolutely recommend!

We cherish this part of Michigan and all that it has to offer.

My Grandparents purchased their property 3 miles north of Luzerne on the Big Creek way back in 1944. They started building their "Red" Cabin in 1965 ( I was 2 years old ).

My wife Laura and I purchased their Cabin in 1997 and have over the years purchased a few others in the area for the purpose of preservation. All of our properties are somewhat connected and private. We live in one that is centrally located to the rest. We do have 1 exception which is a Cabin on the outskirts of Mio.
Mio is 6 miles away and is the County Seat.
