This is our second time staying in this home. Beautiful home with great access to the beach. Also our host Lara, was very prompt getting back to us whenever we had questions or issues. Everything was resolved in a timely matter. Highly recommend this place. Will not disappoint.

Family vacation

We had 6 kids under 8 so a beach vacation was attractive in Oregon because it's too cold to swim. None of our grandchildren swim yet. Plenty for them to do, playing in the sand, flying kites, checking out tide pools, building sand forts. Great time for all and the house fit our needs perfectly with each family getting 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and grandparents got downstairs master bedroom.

High end home perfect for extended family gatherings

If you are looking for an exceptional stay on the stunning Oregon Coast, then look no further than this spectacular home. The homeowner provides all the thoughtful touches needed to deliver a high-end rental experience. The kitchen is well-appointed with all of the cooking items you might need to prepare meals for a crowd. There is an extra refrigerator in the garage to store extra groceries or crabs after a successful morning on the docks. There are even two dishwashers making it nearly impossible to run out of dishes. The deck with a view of the ocean includes a seating area and grill. There is plenty of room to sleep an extended family and the bunkbeds even include outlets so kids can charge their phones. The beach is steps away for easy morning walks along the sandy coastline line and the iconic Cannon Beach is a short 10-minute drive. Laura kept us well informed about the house during our stay. The house is well cared for and you will find it has all the amenities you hope for. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful house

Beautiful home and location

This was our 2nd year in a row to have our annual girls weekend getaway here at this home. The location is ideal! Close to seaside, cannon beach and Warrenton. The beach is super close and so pretty! Lara (the host) is very accommodating and has been able to allow early check in time when she can.

Phenomenal Vacation at The House at Arch Cape

My family and I LOVED our stay at The House at Arch Cape. We have stayed all around the Oregon Coast for our annual vacations and this house was far and away our favorite. The location is central to lots of fun things. The beach is gorgeous and the beach access is right in front of the house. The house is beautiful and provided a comfortable stay. Lastly, Lara was fantastic - she was great at communicating and was on top of everything. Book your stay here - you are guaranteed to love it!

Rocks Retreat

The house is beautiful! We felt so lucky to have a week there. Never tired of the view. We had relatives nearby so each evening 14 adults and 6 grandchildren gathered for dinner. We had enough room & chairs. A bit of a yard would have gone a long way for our GKs aged 6 mo - 6 years, but we worked it out.

Minnesotans who love the Oregon Coast

Our stay was wonderful! The host was very easy to communicate with and answered all questions promptly. The beach was very accessible for the grandkids and the grandparents. Loved the proximity to Haystack Rock and Oswald West State Park. Our family has been vacationing at Cannon Beach for decades usually staying at Hallmark Resort. As our week came to a close all 14 of us agreed we’d prefer the house at Arch Cape over the resort for our next beach trip. We will be back. All of us brought home many treasured memories of our stay. Thanks for providing this lovely home away from home.

Fantastic Spring Break

Family Reunion

Our family decided to spend a weekend together for the first time ever - 3 siblings, 3 children, spouses, and grandchildren. It was the perfect location. Not only was The House at Arch Cape fabulous, with well-appointed rooms, but the proximity to Cannon Beach was perfect for our family needs. There were two great locations to hang out, so we were never crowded, and the house clearly not only slept 14 people, but was able to accommodate them for meals and entertainment, as well. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of modern, updated equipment and appliances. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

Amazing property and experience!

Just book it! Lara and Dennis's property is truly not to be missed! By far the best rental I've ever booked on the Oregon Coast (and I've booked a lot!) Sparkling clean from top to bottom, zero clutter, spectacular ocean views, THE most comfortable beds in ANY hotel or property I've stayed in, dialed in w the latest technology and appliances, I could go on and on. We stayed here for a mother/son weekend with our 15 year olds and everyone loved the house! AND upon our return home, I received a "thank you for staying with us" package (mailed vis USPS) from Lara! A handwritten note, custom Arch Cape mug, and a gift certificate for an Oregon Coast print at a local gallery! That's never happened to me! Top to bottom, beginning to end, a truly perfect stay and experience. Trust me!

Annual girls beach getaway

We have about 14 women (all related, sisters, in-laws etc) we have been doing this annual retreat for about 25 years and love it! This house was perfect for us. So close to the beach and Cannon Beach! Very clean and nicely decorated. Already booked next years getaway here again!

I've been vacationing in the Cannon Beach/Arch Cape area since I was a little girl, carrying on my dad's love of the place that started when he was in college (we now manage a small portfolio of vacation rentals together at Heritage Vacation Homes).

We toured the home in the summer of 2014. Immediately, we fell in love with the huge windows that offer an incredible view of this part of the Oregon Coast as well as the home's location on a quiet beach. We began envisioning sharing this home with others by turning it into a vacation rental home, and a dream was started. From December 2014 through May 2015, we have focused on a complete remodel of the home. Our desire was to bring the beauty of the Oregon coast indoors through the colors and textures chosen. We so look forward to having you stay here!

It's no mystery why we love it here: the rugged, untamed beauty of the Oregon coast, where the forest meets the ocean. The coastal towns of Cannon Beach and Manzanita, with their art galleries, boutiques, weathered cedar-shake cottages, and restaurants for all tastes. The splendor of iconic Haystack Rock, the largest monolith in North America. Not to mention the opportunities to hike, surf, bike... or just stroll the beach, exploring tidepools and watching for eagles soaring overhead. In the summer, there are fiery sunsets and whales spouting in the distance. In the colder months, you can stay cozy inside and take in the dramatic waves of wintertime.
